I understand alot of people like this because it does put a lot of the light on the ground on level streets that have no hills. Also, since those headlights have a cutoff on the top (to not blind the car in front of you) you don't see the road signs. Then the High Beams come on and apparently some people do not know how to turn those off! Very annoying when it's the car behind you. I swear I feel like installing a mirror back there sometimes!
And not to mention,it wears out the starter way sooner than it should, compared to a regular idling car. The start/stop feature doesn't save but a fraction of fuel compared to an idling vehicle, and does wear out the starter in just a little over a year or so, depending on how much you drive your vehicle. I'd rather have a starter last 10 years, with idling, versus a starter with the start/stop feature, only lasting two to three years,if that long, depending on how much you drive/traffic you're in.

I gotta say the most annoying trends are a tie between all the “modernizing” ones that are honestly only more inconvenient than the old version of it
Projector beam headlights! I know I'm gonna get hate mail for this but hear me out. I understand alot of people like this because it does put a lot of the light on the ground on level streets that have no hills. However, once you get to a town that has hills, you are now blinding oncoming traffic at the crest of that hill. Also, since those headlights have a cutoff on the top (to not blind the car in front of you) you don't see the road signs. Then the High Beams come on and apparently some people do not know how to turn those off! Very annoying when it's the car behind you. I swear I feel like installing a mirror back there sometimes!
These damn auto start-stop systems gotta go! They’re infuriating, even when the vehicle next to me has it and they wear out your engine faster.
I pulled the fuse for my stop/start, since I can’t manually set it permanently. But you need to loop a dummy relay to prevent the CEL.
I don't like the large excessive grilles on these newer Bee-MW's, looking over pollinated.
🤣
auto stop start when coming to a complete stop
How about if it stops well before coming to a complete stop?
Trend I hate is the electric car trend
I have a reason for hating electric cars
I personally like big grills. They look more sporty and aggressive. This seems to have started with the r34 inspired sentra spec v.
The "fake vents" on the Supra MK5 A90 was created to make it easier to take off the exterior parts and put on aftermarket exterior parts
Computers they shouldn't have them on vehicles
Being in the car business for 30+ years all of this needs to stop! I hate servicing a jacked up Tacoma sitting on 20 inch wheels and huge ass tires drowning in tire shine and bitching about something they created, oops dropped the tire shiney side down...
