There was a video out there, ridden with ads, 14 million views, layer upon layer of ads this very version of Scheherazade. It has since been removed. I thought it was the only video I could find of that particular work. I almost cried when I discovered this. Thank you.

Sooooo fast. Those poor musicians played it so incredibly well but looked so scared in the last movement xD That poor first horn in the 4th movement got that stank eye. Slow down maestro!

Gergiev seems to be obsessed with tempo… always too fast and this not helping for better musicality rendition… pity
I find it the most passionate version out here, tempo for me is spot on
The slower parts and the faster parts are all in sync in context of the entire masterpiece. Masterfully conducted 😊
I think the tempo throughout's perfect - it just feels laboured if conducted slower than this.
Yes, he tends to fasten the tempo, but for this sympathy, it s the perfect tempo ever.
Beautiful piece, Gergiev is a stand-alone performance :)
