Was this the night that had some sirens in STL county to malfunction? I live in St. Ann, and I kept hearing an old Tbolt or something wind up for about 3 seconds, then wind down and that lasted for about an hour or so.
@starkml4 Whelen 2800s, I believe. As stated, someone at the EMA pressed the incorrect warning tone because the city only uses Alert, which is a continuous monotone sound for these sirens.
+21zachrwd I don't live there anymore, but this was shot from the Grand Center neighborhood - there are a few tall apartment buildings near there that would have a view like this: The Continental-Life Building, Metropolitan Artist Lofts, PW Shoe Loft Apartments, University Plaza Apartments
