- Rain and some nasty weather almost ruined my season opener, but I had other plans...
This is a quick trip to a campsite on Haliburton Highlands Water Trails to enjoy a night in the woods but more importantly, begin my conversion to hammock camping!! I've recently picked up a Hennessy Expedition and look forward to the tentless life!

Nice little warm-up trip for the upcoming trip season. My first will be a 2-day river run on the upcoming long weekend. Hope you'll be out adventuring as well, can't wait until the next video!
Nice! I’m also heading out for the long weekend to check an item off my bucket list…Barron Canyon in Algonquin! Should be an epic 4 day trip from Friday to Monday with beautiful weather.

Looks like a nice overnighter was had. I had no idea you could backpack into some sites here...I thought it was canoe and kayak only.
I did not look for a trail, but there are a few sites that look reachable on foot from the parking lot. On Big East Lake where I was at, and also on the other side of the road, on Bentshoe Lake.
