My comments were on FliteTest -FTHQ Tour 1.0. As soon as I posted the video came down so here we go again! Great to see how things have changed in the last year. I watch every episode! Keep on inventing, building and reviewing! I pray great success for you guys! Your humility, openness and true love of the hobby is what keeps me coming back!
Awesome show. Awesome people. Just awesome. I've started taking up the hobby here in Cape Town thanks to Flite Test. I'm sure lot's of people are doing the same all over the world. Josh, you guy's are going to have to do a world tour soon...
I really admire how far you have come from the day I got into the hobby, watched your first RUclips videos and built my first FT Flyer to now where you are and now I'm having a blast with my FT Mustang. You made getting up in the air accessible for a great number of people. Thanks FliteTest, I know you will achieve things you haven't even dreamed of! "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose". Also +1 for the world tour, especially over here in South Africa ;D
This video is so fantastic. The main word that comes to mind when I think of Flite Test is "family". Your whole audience becomes a part of a positive, close knit community, and you literally have tons of family members working in your business. Behind the scenes stuff like this makes us viewers feel like part of the crew. I'd love to see more of this kind of thing. Episode Idea: You've never really shown your guys' process when you're designing planes and multirotors, I'd love to see what that looks like.
In early 2000, I use to live in the Canton/Navarre area....You all have grown so much in the past few years and I hope to see the continues success of Flitetest!!!
Makes me tear up a bit to see how you guys are growing. Living the dream in all sorts of ways. Probably the best channel with the best people on youtube if you ask me. You've gotten huge but you still have more roots than anyone. Massive kudos!
Great job guys. Always good to see behind the scenes. One thing you do need is a field day. In the Navy a field day is when all hands turn out to clean the ship. Clutter is your biggest enemy right now and it is something that needs to be addressed regularly or it will get away from you. Maybe a portable building would help but a monthly field day to address this would not hurt. What you do is entirely up to you but this is just a suggestion from an old hand at running operations world wide in limited spaces.
Hi! I'm a brazilian guy who loves model airplanes and I love the videos produced by the flite test!! please put subtitles in Portuguese in the videos so that facilitate the understanding of the valuable information that you pass on the videos! congratulations on the canal! all the best to all of Flite Test!
1:28 The ideas on the right side of the board look amazing for videos!especially the NV FPV and the carbon cubs! Congrats to Josh Scott! Oh and keep up the awesome work! You guys are the reason I stay in this amazing hobby!!
whatever that flies, I love to watch it.recently I got to see flitetest and I became a big fan of this show.really love this show.I almost have watched all the episodes of it and I eagerly wait for Monday and Wednesday for newer episodes. The most beautiful thing about this show is their simplicity in all the areas. presentation, tips and tricks camera work is awesome.really humble and polite people u are.god bless the whole team of flitetest..keep growing guys..!! I would love to see solar plane in up coming episodes if u consider this as an idea..thanks guys..god bless u all!!!
You guys are awesome. Hope to see u guys in person someday. Not quite soon coz im at the other part of the world. Hehehe yet nothing is impossible. I miss scott, i miss david, too long never seen them on air. More power guys! Been following you guys even before i got my 1st quad. God speed.
Great to see flight test moving on, your attitude is a fine one and I wish you all the success that a giving back attitude should bring. It's a breath of fresh air.
can't wait for flite fest 2014 guys, im a huge fan of yours! thanks for the shows and tutorials for the foamy! where can i watch the live streaming of flite fest? im from the philippines!
Great to meet the flite test family and learn a little about your great business! Just like to let you guys know, if you're ever in the UK and need an extra cam on set or borrow some gear then hit me up. Just my way of saying thanks for all the great videos. I've learnt no end of stuff from this channel.
I'd like to see more experimental planes, like the afterburner planes and the various home appliance based planes like the flying toaster and flying blender.
I agree with Tyler Aubin. We need a multirotor beginner series please! I've gotten a tarot T810 frame and I only have the slightest idea with how to set it up. I'm sure other people would really like a video series introducing them to multirotors because a lot of people like hexacopter and quad copters but their intimidated by the complexity.
The Number 1 reason y'all are so popular with us, your fans, is the Family feel you impart to the whole operation! Yeah, the tech stuff is a big part, but on the whole, it's the way y'all make these programs Family-Friendly. I'm sure a lot of things will change under your new organization, but DON'T change the family friendly atmosphere! Got it? :-)
I have a Tipp for the podcast. You guys could use auphonic. It's an online audio enhancement software. It also supports chapters an nice stuff like this. If you record every mic in its own track it will level out the speakers und raise the volume to a certain level. And the best: it's free.
I'd just like to see you guys continuing on with what you're already doing. It's great stuff! With that being said, it would be nice if Dave could be brought back somehow. His contribution to the Flite Test team was unique.
I never realized that you had such a massive project going on! Very impressed. Keep up the great shows, im just new to RC's but im picking it up quickly. Got my first 4xDrone and since have had to teach myself how to solder! :)
Hey guys, I recently got into RC planes and bought one but am still awaiting my first skill building sessions (maneuvering on the ground, etc. per your 10 parts series). I purchased a Hobbyzone Super Cub S on your recommendation and can't wait to get her up. I watched Joshx2's 10 part series and it was extremely well done and informative. I can't thank you guys enough. Your love of the hobby and eagerness to share and create a great RC community is apparent and appreciated. I live in Genoa, OH and have relatives down in the Wooster / Canton area and look forward to making a sort of "pilgrimage" to your location with the hope of meeting the guys who helped me get going. Thanks again and keep up the good work and I'll strive to keep my plane 3 mistakes high!
btw, I'm looking to the future and was seriously interested in the Durafly 1100mm Spitfire Mk24. The Spitfire is my favorite warbird (behind the P-47 which my father flew in WWII) and would love to see you guys do a review.
I know you guys did a reveiw on the older model Durafly Spitfire a couple of years ago, I was looking for one on the new Mk24 model. I have found some reviews of it but look for and trust your opinion
Great video guys, you make us all feel like family.I'm a nubbie to rc planes, been following you for a few months now.I'm retires in a few weeks, just turning 50.I've built 3 of your planes.2 laser cut and 1 from scratch. You guys do great work.Ever try to make and edf stealth for us.I hope your around for many years to come. Thanks from LasVegas
This is really cool! So do you guys just basically let people come in and build if they contact you before hand? I'm kinda new to RC but I'm definitely not a newbie to aviation in general! I really just want to meet you guys. What you have done for the community is amazing!
Maybe an episode comparing small vs large multirotors. Can you build a 14" prop giant quad to be similarly agile? Maybe also discuss the most efficient size for cost, flight time, FPV payload? Possibly same parts large/small frame differences? Streamer battle with multirotors? I guess the thrust would keep the streamers below the craft?
I would love to see a video of where you place your Camera's on your planes! i am just getting into that part of the hobby and don't know how or where to place them.
I love the lasers what happened with the fire, we have two laserscript 150w lasers like yours, had a few fires with perspex and cardboard, got to keep a close eye on them
Oustanding. Such a down to earth bunch of people yet such high production value and great quality product and support to the RC and general community. Honesty is always the best approach.
What do u mean by giving the electronics away. Is it like local or are you going to send the parts over the internet but any ways love your videos and just bought the ft-22 and am so excited to build it. Pls keep the awesome designs coming.
Every single time I watch your videos I just get so excited of how much have you been growing and growing up... congratulations guys, you all are doing an amazing job for the hobby and that is so cool... QUESTION: how could I go and work with you there??? even doing the cleaning staff or something... it would be really awesome to work on doing what your really love.... seriously how I could get a job there?
Hey you guys! I'm going with some thoughts about building my own quad, but i cant figure out how and where to start.. Can you guys make a video on how to build a quadrocopter?
Could you do some more balsa work? I love it but I'm only eleven in the uk and need some plans for a cool plane! I just bought a slick 51 and getting it ready to fly

I'm confused... Who's lovely wife is Anna? Josh? Which Josh? Too many Joshes. By the way, a community place for enjoying flying would be so awesome! Thanks guys!
Annas belly 9 months, josh's belly at 36 years old is The funniest thing ever on flitetest holy crap. Im not picking on josh, my belly is only 10 years away but that line and the quick camera pan, so so so funny i never expected that to come after the preggy belly measure mark
Great video guys!! Recently built my own quad with a lot of your guidance and advice. I loved building it, and love flying it even more!! So much fun! Thanks for introducing such a fun hobby to me, and actually taking the time to explain how simple it actually was to do. Do you guys accept visitors to stop by and fly with you? May make a weekend of it sometime and come out to OH (I'm in Central PA) just to fly with any of you!! Thanks again!
Since this video, the HQ has probably filled up even more. Have you ever gotten bored and decided to dig out some old plane that was in good condition just sitting there collecting dust? You should make an episode where you find some old planes that you haven't touched in a very long time, fly them, and see which one is the best!
A lot of fun to watch your videos and your business flourish! This is what American is all about. Was in Akron last week and didn't know you guys were close. Next time I will stop by and drop off some bagels or something.
Hey! Since you have the fpv monitors so people can see what's going on, why not make a pilot's chair? With some luck you could just take a tx, take out the pot's but connect them to the tx with cables, make a throttle stick, aileron stick, elevator stick and rudder pedals, attach the potentiometers from the tx to them and let people fly the model while sitting in the pilot's chair in front of the fpv monitors. The aircraft could be chosen to suit the wannabe pilots experience level just by choosing among some pre-programmed models. A small quad, a plane, even a boat or car, equipped with fpv camera and tx. This would be nice for the Flite Fest! Matthew
I think that the content of the bone yard should be use to make really "I mean really simple flying planes and visit schools to introduce the young to the hobby" in that way more people become aware of such a great asset of knowledge and entertainment it is....
Hey FT! I was really hoping if you could make a trip to California! I'm a junior in High School and the founder of the school rc club, and I was wondering if you could maybe do an event out here (or at least the west coast). We have great weather out here, and not many people take advantage of it for the RC world. Thanks, Matthew

HaHaHa.. who´s that sleeping in the boneyard :D HaHaHa!
Josh Scott!
Haha! I had to rewind and look again. Well spotted!
Danny Cruz he's cuddleing with a plane
Ethan Richardson What looks to be the Hadron if I had to guess
Colton Baldridge It's the delta with safe tech.
Thank you for all your staff for all you have done...
What does one of those Laser-cutters cost?
Edit: A video about the cutter would be cool too! :)
Great job guys. Always good to see behind the scenes. One thing you do need is a field day. In the Navy a field day is when all hands turn out to clean the ship. "various home appliance based planes" indeed. I want to see a flying minifridge!
or maybe a flying "kitty carrier"
Doesn't have to be specifically home appliances, just making weird things fly, and doing weird things to things that already fly.
I agree with Tyler Aubin. We need a multirotor beginner series please! I've gotten a tarot T810 frame and I only have the slightest idea with how to set it up. Great video guys - you all deserve every success, your videos have helped me out many times and have provided hours of amusing entertainment too.
Could you do some more balsa work? I love it but I'm only eleven in the uk and need some plans for a cool plane! I just bought a slick 51 and getting it ready to fly

I just finished building my FT Versa Wing, wicked plans. Props for providing free plans to us!
I'm very impressed with your program and progress ! But just what do you manufacture ? I'm getting very interested in RC flying now that I'm retired. It looks looks a very nice and non physical stress related hobby.
Start a kickstarter of sorts. I would certainly send money to support you guys! I enjoy what you all are doing.
That already had one!
i have an idea. for your junk pile. do a "junk yard wars" thing where you get 2 teams and set an objective amount of time to build from the scrap parts. team that wins representative gets a prize! some parts from the yard!
Can you make a review the new quanum nova?
Will you guys ever come 2 California ?
No david Windeystill :(
At 8:58 did I happen to see Josh Scott sneaking some Z's up in the boneyard?? Or was it just a discarded pilot?? Great to see how much you folks have grown in such a short time!!
Sorry for the random question, but Max seems like a fantastic dog! Is he a maltipoo? How is he on the potty training? Thanks for all you guys do. Been watching a long time and lovin' it!
awesome looking setup! Its a shame I live on the east coast or I would simply never leave your warehouse
Please review the E-flite Allusive
Hello from Australia!
good stuff. how about a tour of the video editing process from capture to transcoded epps ..
Um...I think I saw the Kraken Build Video at the top of the list. Let's see it already!!!
Multi rotor beginner series please!
Yess!!
Did anybody else see Josh sleeping in the attic of the "warehouse" (Garage)? XD hahahahahah
Wow! I had no idea you guys had gotten so big. I remember finding your channel when you were nothing more than a gleam in Josh's eye!
Lol at 4:48 your video editor decided he wanted in on this tour to!
I'm confused... Who's lovely wife is Anna? Josh? Which Josh? Too many Joshes. By the way, a community place for enjoying flying would be so awesome! Thanks guys!
Anna is Austin Furey's wife. The dude holding the boom mic ;)
FliteTest Oh ok! I think what confused me was the "gut" comparisons and Josh was one of them. Now I understand. Keep up the awesome work!
I can't wait until they hire another Josh.. so there would be 3. I worked at a company one time where everyone (except me) was "John".
You should make a updated tour video
Annas belly 9 months, josh's belly at 36 years old is The funniest thing ever on flitetest holy crap. Im not picking on josh, my belly is only 10 years away but that line and the quick camera pan, so so so funny i never expected that to come after the preggy belly measure mark
Could you guys please do a review of the Wireless Copilot, looks like an awesome piece of kit
love it!another thing i got to put on my wish list
Great video guys!! Recently built my own quad with a lot of your guidance and advice. I loved building it, and love flying it even more!! So much fun! Thanks for introducing such a fun hobby to me, and actually taking the time to explain how simple it actually was to do.
Do you guys accept visitors to stop by and fly with you? May make a weekend of it sometime and come out to OH (I'm in Central PA) just to fly with any of you!! Thanks again!
Min 9 Sleeping man,.. best scene ever !
Yeah Kia's all over! Love it! I work at Kia here in the Netherlands :-).
I noticed the XHover T-Shirt: New mini-quad review in perspective? :D
Thanks for the tour, pretty nice office. Josh's desk looks like a batcave lol
Since this video, the HQ has probably filled up even more. Have you ever gotten bored and decided to dig out some old plane that was in good condition just sitting there collecting dust?
