Great suggestions. I didn't even know fantasy life had DLC till this video so I just went and got that. One I would recommend is Attack of the Friday Monsters, a Nintendo eshop exculsive. Its a small and very endearing game

Once I discovered I could add funds to my 3DS eShop via my Nintendo account, I went a little overboard the other night. I opted to download Mario Golf: World Tour due to it being quite difficult to find CIB. Also there are some incredible sales going on currently, like Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition for only three dollars!!! I also grabbed Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and some SNES classics on the go (Super Metroid and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past). And lastly, because I own the Samus Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL, I treated myself to the Samus Returns theme. And let me tell you, that theme really adds to the look and feel of my console. I wanted to download Bravely Default as well, but I didn't have nearly enough space for it, so I bought a new UAE copy instead! I really wish I didn't wait so long to fall in love with this console, but I'm glad I got some great games at affordable prices before it's too late!
I’ve heard there are some great sales at the moment but they seem to be US only 😔 I’ve not seen the Samus Returns theme I’ll have to have a look! Hope you’re enjoying the games you’ve picked up!
Great list! FE Fates is still purchaseable on the NA eshop until the closing date. Also, you can get the other paths right from the main menu. The minor DLC requires getting to ch 6 to purchase, though.
@@tomfinler Japan and Europe delisted Fates one month early, apparently to prevent pressuring players into rushing through the game to get the DLC at the last minute (the DLC itself can still be purchased until the eShop closes). Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe simply don't agree on decisions sometimes, so the game was kept in the American eShop.

IMO the 3DS isn't actually that old, this feels way too early to be shutting stuff down :( To add onto your list, I'd recommend downloading some free games/apps that are eShop exclusive - Nintendo Badge Arcade is a good one, it lets you play crane games to collect badges that you can then use to decorate your home screen! The game gives you 2 free plays per day, so it's very worth downloading before the eShop closes.

@@djhabibi04 they only appear after chapter 6 when you have to make your choice, yes. All the 3DS FE games DLC require you to reach a certain point in the game before they unlock. It wasn’t long ago I did this on my Conquest cartridge.
@@tomfinler they are extremely rare when you consider that they were arcade only games that ran on Laserdisc. So getting them on the 3ds as DSi games is amazing.
My favorite 3ds games. All the main line Pokémon. Fire emblem fates And awakening. Kirby triple deluxe and robobot. There’s other ones that I wanted to get into. Like mario and Luigi dream team. Bravely default. Stella glow. It just seemed like I didn’t have the time to play them.
yes yokai watch 3 is one of the rarest3ds games it had VERY little physical copies. it sells for HUNDREDS online. definitely wont be able to get it after eshop closes unless you’re rich lol

@@tomfinler I am a huge SMT fan. I have Persona Q and Q2 but haven’t played them just yet. Devil Survivor is fun. It’s start is almost like SMTV in some ways. Fun format.
If you’ve got a 32GB SD card I’m sure that would do you! I had to swap mine out for 64GB recently but that’s because I’ve been putting full on games on there, big RPGs etc

Hey so I hear that you can use a 128 San disk micro SD card in the new Nintendo 3DS xl models. I was going to try to copy my current 32 Gb micro sd to my computer and then transfer it to a 128 gb, but my computer says there isn’t enough “OS” space to copy the file? Any suggestions?
Hey! Not too sure but sounds like your computer’s hard drive might be full? Maybe check that out! By the way for any SD cards above 32GB you have to format these into FAT32 storage type so that the 3DS can read them. Hope you get it sorted!
@@tomfinler I have played 3 Houses and I liked it but not as much as Awakening or Fates. I actually just ordered Engage and it should come soon. I'm very excited to play it since they incorporated a lot of old school FE mechanics to it which i prefer.

When I set up my cartridge for this you had to get to chapter 6 to buy any DLC at all. All the FE titles make you progress the story to purchase DLC

That’s an option too, this is just for people who don’t want to or can’t mod, or maybe want to get some games legitimately first that’s all
I modded one of my 3ds but I still purchase the games that use wireless connections.
