There’s a version cutting about on RUclips , have a listen . For me you can see why it was dropped for the parts they originally had them in. I think it would of worked for the quieter sections though
@@kjohn6926 Just a fan mix using this clip though, innit. I did the same thing when I found this years ago. Implementing it properly would probably sound a whole lot better.
@@GraciousBears Disagree, the remix has everything spot on. The fan mix shows why the string wouldn’t have worked, they are beautiful however overpowering.
@@OAFC101 That's the point though. A fan mix using badly compressed strings from an old video would never work. The original recording mixed by a professional would have very different results. Regardless of whether they put it into the new version or not I still want to hear a professionally crafted version with these strings in because they're excellent.
@@FlamingZelda3 agreed, it is too much with the strings but yeh imagine an acoustic version with matt singing using these strings, my favourite song would be even better Also have you seen Muse released a remix 20th anniversary version of citizen eraser about an hour ago?
@@proevoisace7 this video and sound perfect. I've just listened New Xx version and i disappointed. We need strings just like this video but xx aniversary added the ending string part and remove beautiful flanger effect which is connect us to Micro cuts.

This song could of been even greater . Why just why did they leave this out of the final cut lol could of worked in the quieter sections of the songs

The effect at the end will likely be on the album, it just doesn't work as well as a single release.
