Dr Dray doesn’t need to impress *ANYBODY* and you know I turn notifications on and watch the ads for it 😂
thanks for watching!
Cassandra!!!! :P
I do the same
Omg Cassandra!!
Good for you, Cassandra, for resisting jumping on the trendy train, while still being your always kind self!
yeah... I think I'll stick to CeraVe
Same.
X 10 same
Virginija R Me too!
I didn’t expect anything else from rasists like you 🤷🏾♀️
Hey There imagine thinking someone is racist just because they support a better skincare line out there instead of a line that are pumped full of fragrance... pathetic
Dang, Dr. Dray didn't hold back AT ALL. None of that, "I love Rihanna but..." she kept it strictly professional and focused on the ingredients, not the face of the products.
Damn straight she did. Our girl is nothing, if not a professional 👩🏻⚕️
if the products were good Dr dray would give the credit. Im glad dr dray hasn't sold out like hyram
Dr Dray is an entire mood today and I’m here for every minute of it.
hahahahah YES
100% and I love it!
I know rigth!! lol
She’s a mood everyday lol
like seriously, I never fully watch videos, especially not when people have such high voices like dr. dray. But still, watched all of it😂
“If you wanna call yourself environmentally conscious, don’t come out with a skincare line!”
YES!!!!!!
Pop that marketing bubble, people! Thank you Dr. Dray!
Exactly!
Atleast the coral are safe and the one they use in Fenty is something that can be grow back such as the cherry and so on!
Although I agree that it's impossible to have complete zero waste in skincare , however there are innovative ways to lessen it. And the idea of brands being environmentally conscious and finding ways to reduce the possibility of waste to the environment is a good thing, even if it's a marketing.
Well pointed!
@@randolflazaro9982 no because as soon as you launch brand, you have environmental production costs. If you really cared about the environment, you'd buy less and produce less
Our generation is so into skincare if a celebrity actually made a GREAT collection with amazing ingredients THEY WOULD BE RICH. What’s wrong with them?
lol!
Agreed. Someone needs to collab with Dr. Dray to make some good skincare with no BS ingredients
They’re already rich loll
And SO much respect would be coming their way. Seriously, what is the problem??
It’s so funny that one of the influencers who reviewed this called Rihanna “a good business woman,” our standards are really low.
I understand why everybody else is kissing ass for Rihanna. At best, they are trying to support PoC brands. Some, like Hyram, basically say these products are shit but in the most apologetic way possible. If you were earning a huge chunk of your income on youtube, you wouldn't risk being cancelled by your audience (who mostly love Rihanna and support black-owned brands) by being brutally honest.
The advantage Dr. Dray has is her audience tends to be intensely scientific and critical. They care about ingredients period. Most of all, she's a doctor. It won't really hurt her financially to lose a few subs.
Yup as she seems very unapologetic about hating it 😂
Totally 💯🙏🏽♥️ Dr Dray is such a breath of fresh air with being 100% honest and transparent without any calculating moves
Also Rihanna's brand isn't a small startup that needs support. She's a huge celebrity and has investors and managers etc. There are better ways to support black owned businesses in a more meaningful way.
No one's kissing ass....?????
@@mushy470 Wth is that even supposed to mean???
She's the only person on RUclips who cares about the ingredients list and never the PR list. #keepitup
💯💯💯🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽♥️♥️♥️
Maybe you’ve heard of Skincare By Hyram?? Focuses exclusively on the ingredients list of products
So does Dr. Vanita Rattan for skin of colour and she actually runs trials to test ingredients outside of RUclips.
No she isnt, shes the only one YOU know of.
@@TragicallyCharmed then give them some new ones instead of commenting something useless
I personally wouldn’t buy a skin care line from an entertainment celebrity lol. Celebrities go to the best of the best dermatologist and esthetician’s for their skin care, and then want to launch a line by slapping their name on some cheaply made products they don’t even use themselves.
Exactly. I totally agree.
Thank you, I’ve said this in the past. It’s no different with the fenty skincare line.
Yep
Agree. Buying celebrity anything is so immature. Last time I did it I was in 8th grade and bought a Clinique shampoo bc I read George Michael liked it. Did I think it would bring me closer to him?
Keto Acid OMG I would buy anything George Michael endorses!
I was so disappointed with so many skincare influencers who have shredded other lines apart for much less praising this nonstop. It’s been disgusting
100% agree. It's ridiculous and it exposes the biased ones from the honest ones like Dr Dray.
Skincare Gains haha I literally said, guess I’m gonna be eating mushrooms and drinking tea with Dr Dray because my favorite youtubers all sold out
Which influencers are u referring to?
Catherine T the ones that talk so much about ingredients but suddenly doesn’t mind loads of dyes, fragrance and plant extracts...
Yup it’s been eye awakening who succumbed into this hype for clout. They built their platform and audience on promoting fragrance free and research driven and trust me they all took lessons from dr dray. But now they got big following and got interest from a big company, it’s so gross to see the, all go back on their own words. Clowns 🤡
Other influencers: Treading lightly in fear of being kicked off Fenty's PR list
Dr Dray: Goes nuclear on the line, shows no fear or favor, and would donate any Fenty products sent her way due to its problematic ingredients (fragrance, dyes, and plant extracts)
I love this comment :). Hehe "goes nuclear" indeed.
@@amandaf5664 Yeah, she doesn't hold back.
I mean, it's not like she's afraid of offending Rihanna, or Kendo, who owns Fenty Skin LOL
And that’s on being completely unbiased because she gets her own coint and doesn’t fear getting kicked off a PR list! :)
@@natalieserrano3029 Yes, she's fearless, which I truly appreciate.
If she wants to review a product, she'll go out and purchase it with her own money.
It's not as though she would care if a brand stopped sending her PR.
Farah Ng what do you mean
“If you call yourself environmentally sustainable, don’t launch a skincare line” hahahaha
Exactly!!!!!! XD I was thinking about that for awhile now. Sadly, most people are too dumb to think about stuff like this.
@Chi Non Why??? Are you serious? Because with each launch there is more trash being produced (plastic packaging, ingredients that end up in the oceans, etc.) So in the sense of sustainability this ironically doesn't make any sense.
@Griselda Gamboa We should not make any more products, but that isn't possible because people have the right to do whatever they want and most are looking for profit, obiously we can't survive without money. So the whole system should change. There should be a law regulating these brands, how many products can they produce and how often should they come out with new ones, and stuff like that. I'm not an expert, I'm just telling you my logic.
Griselda Gamboa The problem with these “sustainability conscious” brands is greenwashing. These brands try to market to the appeal of ethical consumerism, when there is no such thing. Unless legislative change is enacted, there’s only so much we can do as consumers to fight back against corporations utilizing wrongdoings such as human slave labour.
@Griselda Gamboa thanks :) It's nice to know you can still talk to normal people on youtube without trolls and hateful speech and name calling. Take care!
“My job with this channel is to help you wise up to these things...”
And you’re doing a fabulous job Doctor!💖
Yes! ♥️ Totally agree!

That's why we are here with our notebooks opened 📖
Everyone else: FENTY skincare is a good a good starter brand at $75 and fragrance is fine because saying otherwise severs my relationship with brands.
Dr Dray: glorified, overpriced perfume. you don’t need it.
And I need proponents of fragrance in skincare to stop with their self-persecution complex. The oversaturated market caters to them in every way-it isn’t like clean beauty where paraben alternatives are giving people contact dermatitis and dissuading people from using sunscreen because “chemicals are bad”, which is extremely dangerous. what “fear mongering” and “myths” are they pushing back against when they defend fragrance? Lol
@@idreamofpeony lmaooo "self-persecution complex" 😂 like honestly nobody is telling you that you can't light a candle or spray perfume onto yourself during your skincare routine, just don't put it on your face...
@@idreamofpeony also can you imagine accusing a cardiologist of "fear-mongering" because he/she tells you that eating fries regularly may result in heart disease down the road? Ridiculous.
Skincare Gains I wish they’d just be honest and say, “I am aware of the risks but I enjoy it.” Instead, they act like they’re being marginalized and try to science-explain away valid concerns and demands for more fragrance-free options.
@@idreamofpeony EXACTLY! Nobody is saying that you can't use fragrance, just stop trying to convince me (and yourself) that the concerns and risks aren't justified and based in facts.
Having allergic contact dermatitis is awful. Believe what she says.
I have it too! Been keeping it under control thanks to Dr. Dray :)
“If you go to a dermatologist with any skin condition and they offer you a raisin tree, just walk out the door.” 😂 Dr. Dray is on another level of intelligent savage.
Dr Dray is just balancing out all the brown-nosing from other influencers. Not gonna lie, the brutal honestly in this video made me laugh a little.
That’s why she’s a doctor and they’re only “influencers” lol

SAME she cracks me up.. I love it
People love hydram but I only take advice from a board certified derm like dr dray
I have issues with celebrity lines because their fans believe that the person was actually, deeply involved in the formulation of the product, and put a lot of faith in the celebrity line - to the point where they will basically bully people who simply don't like whatever the product. And all that the celebrity had done was maybe use the products a few times then slap their name (and therefore influence) on it.
People need to stop being naive about this honestly.
Yes, I didn't get a confident feeling from Rihanna when she talked about it, maybe I'm reading into it but her body language with all the head tossing seemed a little disingenuine to me, she read insecure to me.
Shar Roon I felt the same way. She just doesn’t seem as happy about this line as she did with Fenty Beauty.
@@happybunny9870 that describes it better👍
AFAIK, Cassandra Bankson was the only influencer who pointed out Kendo owned Fenty Skin, and Rihanna was just the "face" of the brand.
Not the owner, not the cosmetic formulator, the "face".
It had to be said, as many people seem to be under the impression that Rihanna herself was in the lab, creating all these products *just for them* .
“[Niacinamide] is probably in this tea i’m drinking” LOL 🤣
It irks me when people say that we need to support this brand because it's inclusive - Rihanna's net worth is $600 million, she does not need more money
5 Louis Vuitton parent company owns the majority stake in Fenty Beauty. They probably own this line too.
And how much do you think the cheaper more established brands are worth? Will you not give them your money too? Let people spend their money where they want.
Missy D. Neither do the people who own these other brands, but we still buy, so what’s really the issue here?
Missy D. Because there’s nothing you can say. You can’t be against one making money from us and for the other.
If we want to make her richer we're gonna make her richer!
“Putting detergent on your face makes you a celebrity” ...lol good thing I was not drinking coffee while watching this 😛
😂😂😂😂
i don't get what she meant by that... detergent? who's doing that?
I thought you were going to say you'd put coffee on your face, LOL..... I would!
like everyone i watch who normally hates fragrance was like, "but it's fine in this..." ??? okay lol
Seriously!!!
Love that profile pic.
😂
moodypanda Agree! Hyram hates fragrance and chemical sunscreens, but he states, “I understand why Rihanna uses them”. Come on!
James Mowry I stopped watching Hyram when I found Dr. Dray and I had a feeling people were referring to him in the comments in regards to the hypocrisy.
Fenty skin has been dermatologist tested and is not approved.
Dr Dray, I appreciate you objective medical advice based on studies and not on sales commission. You are a rarity in todays influencer culture and embody the reason why RUclips was created in the first place.
she is THE BEST on YT. Seriously. Courageous and true to herself.
Seriously, I love when Dr. Dray confirms for us that we don’t need the over priced, hyped up products, and that we can find some absolute gems in the drugstore, and get better results!💕💕💕
I LOVE Rihanna as an artist but I'm flat-out saying nope to her skincare line! Knowing what I know now, I'd rather spend my money buying drugstore products that work. All thanks to you Dr. Dray! Nice review btw! 😉
So agree with you. Can’t like your comment more.
Yep, I switched from Clinique to mostly Cerave and my skin is actually better.
Yep! She needs to drop a new album! Not a skin care line.
Rihanna is not that good of a singer to be honest lol
I'm not sure how she got so famous I guess her label helped her

I'm trusting a doctor over an influencer any day of the week. I've been watching Dr Dray for a few months and me taking her advice has radically improved my skincare. Amazing results from her advice!!!!! 😍😍😍
Same!
would have been better if she chose A tinted mineral SPF 50
without fragrance in a light medium & dark shade

More than 3 shades are needed
I agree. I live in the desert so SPF 30 is completely useless to me. I need a minimum of 50.
Agreed. I'm from the Caribbean and the stores have such a limited variety of mineral sunscreens for darker skin tones
Mineral sunscreens leave a cast on dark skins, since she's black I imagine she chose one that wouldn't leave her and other black women looking ashy.
Dr Dray, Your subscribers knew where you were going with this in the first five seconds! Thanks for always keeping it real. Enjoy the day, friends.

@@DrDrayzday I feel like you are the most trustable one when it comes to skincare. Thank you so much Dr. Dray. Love you so much.
''If you want to call yourself environmentally conscious, don't make a skincare line." Preach, Dr. Dray. The greediness of these celebrities knows no bounds or decency. The most sickening part is that they hijack social justice causes for even more profit.
*Dr. Dray ain't a simp for NOBODY!* 💁🏻♂️😂😌
As long as there are sheep, there will be wool...
Wow, I've never heard that before but it is so true. I won't be forgetting that one.
And leave one wolf alive and the sheep are never safe.... lol. Couldn’t help myself
I can literally testify firsthand to the photoirritation from citrus oils.... Legit stay away. Used grapefruit essential oil once before running on the beach after an article claimed it's "energizing" aromatherapy (before I watched Dr dray) , and the rash was just pure pure misery... Its like a cross between a sunburn and an allergic reaction. 😂😂😭😭
Hi totally agree I have oily acne prone skin and I can't believe how many products for acne prone skin have citrus oils . My skin was a mess and I didn't realize why .
😂
Dang! That sounds painful 😬
I've done something similar when I was younger and years later the damage is showing. I will never ever use anything that contains any essential oils, no matter where from, ever again. Just don't do it.
I love Dr. Dray’s sarcasm “ wow I’ve never seen that before “ with an expressionless 😑 face. love it! The brand itself was of no interest to me but this is an informative video that truly applies to many many brands that are sold at Sephora. Thank you Dr. Dray!!!
Just canceled my order after watching this. I agree i do not like fragrance, but gave a past. I will no longer do that, no matter who the product is from. Thanks for the no BS video.
I recommend trying it. It actually works. Surprisingly well. I’m not a fragrance fan either but look, my skin looks phenomenal after a month and a half. And this is coming from someone who doesn’t care for the beauty line so you know it’s not kiss-assery
Rihanna : "We didn't put more than 1% fragrance on this line. "
Dr Dray : " No Ma'am "
Hahahahaha
I was so confused with everyone who usually hates fragrance making up excuses for this line with mediocre ingredients and justifying the price. “It has GLyCeRIn and other moisturizing ingredients” okay next, NiaCinaMide...
They are just skin junkies recommending stuff, not even licensed to breakdown each ingredients real benefits or risks smh
They’re product pushers I stopped watching most of these channels I find it hard to believe they’re giving accurate reviews when they’re moving from products on weekly basis
Lmao not gonna say names but one RUclipsr said witch hazel is not that bad and it depends on the formulation and purpose. They forgot to mention it’s second on the ingredient list and super drying so dry skin people shouldn’t go for it
niacinamide RUINED MT SKIN i turned into a fucking pepperoni pizza
I think because people love fenty beauty (including myself) people thought her skincare would be revolutionary but like Dr Dray says it’s still celebrity hyped skincare. I will continue to admire Rihanna for being an awesome artist and business woman but that doesn’t mean we all need to buy her skincare line 🤔
Very well said
Her fragrance free sunscreen is amazing.
HAHA my favorite part was 6:14 "If you are not sensitive to fragrance, but are open to accepting the risk of developing contact sensitization, irritant contact dermatitis, contact urticaria, pigmented dermatosis ...if you are ok with those risks go ahead". I love Dr Dray.
There's a fragrance free version. That was a little dramatic
Finally someone who is not afraid to say the truth 🙏🙏 even Hyram wasn’t 100% honest cause he is sooo afraid of Rihanna and her fans 😂😂
I feel like he was. He just kept apologising understandably, because he respects Rihanna and her intentions
He was being diplomatic and really sweet because he wanted to point out the most positive aspect of the collection and her inclusivity towards people of colour. He wasn't happy with the fragrance.
huma mumtaz yes, I totally agree. But at the same time it was like “ingredients don’t lie b***h” doesn’t apply as much in this case because it’s rihanna’s...I’m pretty sure he would have been more critical if it wasn’t hers 🤷♂️ his reviews normally have the same arguments as Dr Dray and Cassandra. And they were way more straightforward about the ingredients and how there is nothing new about this line...
huma mumtaz plus, he didn’t even criticize having dyes in the 3 products, cmon! when it was about Clinique, it was quite the opposite..

This comment is so underrated.
!!!!!!!
I don’t know why everyone is crapping on Hyram, he openly said he won’t be using the toner or sunscreen just the cleanser. I do think he overhyped the ingredients but honestly he does that all the time... he doesn’t understand how ingredients work together in formulations and the difference between an ingredients benefits per the manufacturer vs the actual evidence. People think he’s way more educated than he is. But overall I think he offered a fair review. Pretty much every mineral sunscreen has a cast so how can he hate on a chemical sunscreen from an inclusive line? And there’s zero evidence chemical filters are bad, it’s just his preference since he lives in Hawaii.
dh 1234 As I mention in my comment, European and Asian sunscreens are absolutely better as far as cosmetic elegance and more stable organic filters. But there’s no evidence I’m aware of that US options are unsafe which is the original discussion point. Just takes more to create a stable formula and larger parent brands do do a good job of this.
Finally a review that doesn't include terms like 'female empowerment' or 'boss girl' because I've seen a lot of other influences that turns a blind eye to the amount of highly overpriced perfumes because of rihanna... if anything it should be an insult to think that anyone could come up with skincare products thinking it's a one size fits all thingy
"gender neutral packaging" wtf does that mean, not pink? lol
Most influencer hold back when they reviewed it, some who used to dragged fragrance and all. Saying they're so impressed she launched suncreen too , which is good. But that is named a moisturizer and we all know most of us don't put enough of that. And it's SPF 30 , tho it's decent we all know 50 is way better. And lastly it contains fragrance , we all know how sensitising it can be especially in suncreen. And they're claiming the cleanser removes makeup effectively, and we all know that isn't true. I like Rihanna , and I like Fenty beauty . But I'm gonna say no to Fenty skin. Not a kylie skin fan either, but where's the energy when it comes to Rihanna fragrance skincare .Thanks for always being honest.
Even in her promo she put the amount u would use for moisturizer. Lol

@@kdlyss6652 Neutrogena SheerZinc Dry Touch SPF 50 doesn't appear to have glycerin (but it leaves quite a bit of a cast, so you'd really have blend it in well). All other sunscreens I've used have glycerin.

At this point, who even *needs* a new product/product line? I'd be fascinated to see their sales numbers in 2 months. If this came out 2 years ago it most likely would've flown off the shelves, but now so many people already have more products than they can even use and the market is so saturated it's drowning. People are also a lot wiser to ingredients and I think fragrance is looked at much more critically than it once was - I know I've evolved with it. Fragrance never irritated my skin and I've used products with it for years, however I began to question exactly why a brand has to include it because at best it's useless and at worst it's irritating, so I don't purchase products with fragrance or essential oils anymore. I also see a huge trend in a beauty facebook group I run of women downsizing their skincare routine and focusing more on the basics - cleanser, retinol product, moisturizer, sunscreen. I've seen this happening for the last year, but it's really been picking up steam, including myself (which I never thought would happen). My understanding is all 3 cost $75. I've heard "oh it's a good starter line". For who? $75 is a little steep for 3 products, not least because there's so much else out there for less money. $75 is a bit much for most teens and early twenty-somethings, and as a 36 year old, I don't find this appealing. This release just mostly annoys me and you're correct, people will forget about it in a few weeks.
literally said everything on my mind! agreed 💯. besides with the current issue of overconsumption, this sub par skincare line really is just adding up to the landfill. nothing about it except it's packaging is interesting to me. won't ever see myself purchasing her skincare products tbh. will keep stashing up on krave and the ordinary tho!
I agree and that's why I think all celebrity lines are a quick money grab. Kylie literally repackaged St. Ives walnut scrub and made millions. There's no intention of longevity or developing innovative products.
@indica moon what's so wrong with that statement?
I’m so glad you’re reviewing this! I don’t use fragrance, so I won’t buy it. But for those who do use fragrance, and would consider consider it, I still think it’s strange there isn’t a moisturizer but there is a toner.

...and this unbiased, honest review is what makes Dr Dray the BEST skincare influencer/channel ever!!! Thank you Dr Dray for your time in making this review. You're the best! ♡
I have been waiting for this!! As a black woman and a woman in general and a client I need honesty when it comes to products.
I wish you would do Naturium next, from an ingredient perspective aside from the drama around it. Also, your hair looks so thick and voluminous today!🤩
Mariam Sabra yes, please..
Yessss I want her to review it
Yessssss!
No matter how good that brand is. I would never support Susan Yara. She is shady as hell.
@@TrappedQue finally someone who isnt like "omg queen 🥺 it's ok that you tried to scam us"
Companies next:"Chicken extract is a healing ingredient and Beef essential oil has strong anti-aging properties"
"chicken extract" why did that sent me-
🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Finally someone who's actually honest unlike other "specialists" who seem to be big Rihanna stans
I love Rihanna and I own several of her makeup products but I notice how she tends to get a pass for things other celebs get dragged for. I just notice the bias when it comes to her and I don't like it. If this was Kylie, these influencers wouldn't hesitate to drag her.
xoxo2000 Rihanna tries a lot more, this line has chemical sunscreen that doesn’t contribute to coral bleaching she uses ingredients that go the extra mile to prevent and minimize environmental damage despite Dr Dray’s fallacious statement about skincare and the environment. Give me an example of any of the Kardashians doing something similar? It’s insulting to compare them because while their products are similar Rihanna’s can be used without feeling terrible for contributing to something that actively destroys the environment and like you were robbed
@@alexcastro7665 you should watch lab muffin beauty science's video on sunscreens and coral reefs, she explains this in great detail, but easy to understand. What Dr Dray said wasn't fallacious -- it's true that the studies on this had some issues.
@@xoxo20000 i was thinking this exact thing, attacking kylie is socially acceptable but God forbid anyone speaks the truth on Rihanna's skincare line lol
I love how she doesn’t hold back. I find it interesting that Fenty sent PR packages to so many beauty and skincare influencers, some with less subscribers than Dr. Dray, but they didn’t send Dr. Dray a PR package? They could have and she is just not showing it on camera, but I feel like she would disclose the fact that she was sent the products if they did. So why would they send so many others the kit, but not her? Probably because they knew exactly what she would say anyway! 😂
WHY ARE YOU SOOOOO UNDERRATEDDDD!! you’re literally saving me sm money
Skincare is trending so now companies roll out fancy packaging and perfumed stuff which isn’t even good for skin. It’s time to be environment conscious and focus on recycling, instead of pretty packaging and harmful fragrance.
Yaaaasssss!
But I guess if all the products are the same no fragrance and cermaindes ect. I guess these companies feel what sets them apart if they are all pretty much going to be the same products lots of competition and celebrities know if they just slap their name on something it will sell and they will just get richer so it can hurt other companies/markets because celebrities names just sell stuff and these other companies not attached to famous people hopefully won't struggle if celebrities try to take over the markets smh
“Japanese raisin tree” LMFAOOO that just sounds weird
I admit it sounds less attractive than "Barbados cherry" LOL
Dr Dray saying "I need a sip of tea" like this whole thing wasn't spilling scalding hot tea all over the interwebs. Lord have mercy.
“If you go to a dermatologist and they offer you a raisin tree... just walk out the door” I SCREAMED🤣😭 #teamDray
Thank you Dr Dray for not encouraging fragrance. People think it's okay if fragrance doesn't irritate you at first.
Dr Dray shading Fenty Skin as she sips from her Totoro mug...it’s kind of iconic
“If you go to a dermatologist with any skin condition and they offer you a raisin tree, just walk out the door!” 🤣
OMG I WAS WAITING FOR THIS
thanks for watching
Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to make videos! I am currently in quarantine and have been since March due to my severe asthma. Your videos help me with my anxiety and I am so grateful for them❤️
thanks for watching them
I just watched James ang Hyram's review before this but got disappointed coz they clearly were in constant thoughts "this is Riri's brands, Riri brand". Dr. Dray didn't even try to be apologetic about it. Which I prefer.
I think they didn't want hate and they care what the audience thinks of them while she is doctor,a straight up professional.
A strong voice willing to honestly have a review that is not silenced by celebrity and prevailing trends. People seem to be frightened to speak about this product line without apology for the slightest criticism.
I love Dr Dray’s and Cassandra Bankson’s review of Fenty Skin
Awe thank you! I loved hearing the different opinions as this came out.. and Dr Dray’s no BS review haha.
Love Rihanna, and fully support her message makeup music etc, but being an amazing empowered woman doesn’t mean you can create amazing skincare!
@Diana Moore What is this comment about? Are we still talking about a skincare line here? Or "something" else...? If you hate Rihanna for creating opportunities, products, and experiences for people that she's passionate about and has spoken into existence over the past decade, just say so. If you want your misery to have company, just say so. Kudos to Rihanna for creating yet another product many people will find pleasure and satisfaction in! Surely many, many more are in the pipeline. 🙂
@@transformationstation5414 the point is rihanna wears fur. What do u not understand in that she is sure not creating opportunities for animals
@@ZgtGirl Rihanna wore fur a couple times. I can only recall 2. Once in 2014, and again in 2016 (or 2017). Both times from LVMH brands. NONE of her OWN brands (Rihanna for River Island, Fenty Puma, FENTY) included fur. Now what?
Diana Moore Lots of celebrities/influencers wear fur are you gonna cancel everybody in existence?

I just came here for the hilarious sarcasm being served by the doctor. I already knew what Dr. Dray thought about this before I even watched the video. 😂😂😂 It did not disappoint. 👏🏾👏🏾
I appreciate your frankness. High quality and honest skin-related content.
Thank you, Hyram, for connecting me with Dr. Dray.
I laughed out loud at the end about wipes 😂🤣😂 love it!
I come to an actual dermatologist like Dr Dray for the real & scientific tea on these ingredients. I’m not one to follow trendy, popular influencers who I could possibly relate to because of my age. Nah.
She had such a great opportunity to release decent tinted sunscreens that don’t have a cast for dark skin tones. That would have been a hit.
So impartial, so raw, so real, so rare. Incredible!
After watching Dr. Dray, I can no longer listen to any other beauty influencer talk about skin care. There is so much misguided information out there, it pales in comparison to Dr. Dray's knowledge and expertise.
Hyram : I HaTe FRaGrAnCe
*Rihnnna release a skincare line*
Hyram : i can understand queen😍😍
Lmao way out of context
He doesn't hate fragrance lol he's constantly recommending fragrance and essential oil filled products like his favorite face wash, face mask, and even one of the sunscreens he's always going on about. And many many more. Every time he says "I hate fragrance, haven't spoken to her in years" or whatever, he's just straight up lying! He uses fragranced products all the time!
He is not even licensed and people eat what he saye
Mea Allen lol "many many more" like?
Give me at least 10 products that hyram recommended without disclosing that it have fragrances or essential oils.
@@randolflazaro9982 isnt that Youth to the People brand he works for full of botanical extracts or oils?
Love the rawness of this review. You’ve earned my respect, Dr. Dray. Keep it up and keep it honest.
Thank you for this frank, honest review full of scientific information. Pretty much every other influencer tiptoed around Fenty Beauty, Hyram apologised profusely and blathered on about his love for RiRi to offset the fact he didn’t really rate her line 🥱😴
I knew there was a reason I wasnt excited about this line.
I am a fan of makeup, so I have bought so many brands. However, Fenty's foundation caused me severe acne. I love Rihanna, but I am afraid her products have an ingredient my skin can't tolerate. I am not buying her products anymore :(
If you have a problem with acne try using the Jane Iredale pressed mineral foundation. It will make your face a little oily which is annoying but it’s super safe for acne :)
Stick to what works, don't be tempted to try something new, its just hype. I can't talk though.......
@@simone2316 Why waste so much money on Jane Iredale products when there are cheaper and more adequate products?
I love your long explanations and the medical information you give. Please never change!
I love your channel you made me change the idea that expensive always is better I love your minimalist skincare recomendations that actually works. Thank you
I unsubbed from Hyrum over this. Thank you for not fawning all over a sub par product, Dr Dray!
Why does he put "specialist" in his titles and then be like "omg but who cares about my opinion anyways, Rihanna knows best :)"
What do you mean Hyram? Literally all of Gen Z is looking at you for skincare advice because of your TikTok presence.
I unsubscribed from him too. I don’t need advice from a self proclaimed “skincare specialist” with no education or training. He thinks he is the shit.
Yeah I unsubbed too, way overhyping it and showing his bias just because he was on the PR list
@Reservechic Isn't James Welsh in the same situation? I have concluded so from his videos at least. I think he mentioned he had a non-youtube profession that had nothing to do with skincare and he started his YT just for fun.
Have any of you checked out Cyrille Laurent on RUclips? He is a charming Frenchman who was a stem cell researcher and now reviews products, along with explanations of individual ingredients, etc. He and Dr. Dray seem to have more in common regarding skincare than not, but Cyrille brings a bit more "tea" to his topics ; )
Thank you for an honest review, not that I was planning on buying them since I learnt to stay away from fragrance in products but I love your truthful reviews.
Dr. Dray, you are so refreshing! One of the few influencers who gives non-biased, honest reviews. You are one of my favorites!
I think you've nailed the 'jaded demographic' 😂😂
