I’m so interested in buying a Xiaomi 12, but i’m afraid of the overheating issue when playing games and emulators, that’s the downside of the snapdragon 8 gen 1 processor. But on overall the Xiaomi 12 is amazing. I liked its screen size and phone design
@@TheTechEnjoyer Every single phone on the market will overheat during gaming. The question is just how much Performance you get after thermal throttling is activated. The 870 is more efficient on the CPU side, but less efficient on the GPU side, so the difference isn't as big
Try Xiaomi 12x the 870 or the 12s which has 8+ gen 1, I have the 12s and it definitely handles ALOT better than the 12. Though u might have to get it from china cuz it's not available globally.
You can actually connect it to a tv with a displaylink adapter and installing the displaylink app on the phone. Works really well and i can play emulator games using my dualshock 5
@@mistermystery819 Are you saying that if I buy it, it's good for playing games all day and as soon as it downloads, I start to load and then play again?
@@mistermystery819 I have to buy 1 phone to play but I want a good phone I don't know whether to take the redmi note 11 pro + 5G or Xiaomi 12 or 12X which do you recommend?
@@DARK-rt8fw The 12x definitely, it has the Snapdragon 870 which is still a beast of a chip and can maintain most of its performance even after 45 minutes of non-stop gaming. I see the Mi11 pro has the 888 chipset they are also notorious for their heating problems.
Hello! I really liked your analysis and I would like to ask you for an opinion please, I have played Pokemon Unite on this device and the FPS drops a lot, compared to other older or lower range phones, the latter run at 60 FPS, any idea what happens with the Xiaomi 12? And why does it have such a bad performance with this game in particular? Thank you!!!
Yes the SD 8 Gen1 is known to run hot and the Xiaomi 12 has no cooling system at all. So if you try to do something intense on the phone you get a drop in performance and eventually the overheating message will appear too.
I have this phone and overheating is not an issue to me ...but the problem is that the phone freezes and crash while playing games and I get random reboots upon overheating
You dont understand it's not the cooling system it's because it's made by samsung, yu have 2 constructor tsmc and samsung never buy something made by samsung alaways tsmc the sd 8 gen 2 is made by tsmc its way better not because its' second generation but because of tsmc constructor even the sd 870 or 865 ( i dont remember ) is better than the gen 1 because of tsmc

Overheating is not a big issue, because it is limited to 5.3w in the mi 12. Though, this ofcause also means lower performance
Try buying the 12X, it has the snap 870 so in don't think It has overheating issues

Weird that my ROG 3 can sustain 47-58 FPS on max settings on Genshin, maybe the optimization..? Or the temps are just better

Imagine use this phone in tropical country while gaming 😂
So how is posible that hdmi output is not supported?? Is that case for all xiaomi phones? I mean it's phone from 2022, it should've been supported!
Nice one...👍💯
Pretty hot chipset hmm maybe u can try dimensity 9000 my man?
I just want some occasional emulator plays, like while on a train, but I like how compact it is, would it be ok? or should I be conserned?
