    Polish Angel is the best of all the things you want. That’s what you’re paying for. There are plenty of other products that “for the money” come close. But honestly there are more expensive as well. Their products are simply the best for the enthusiast. Not the weekend warrior “detailer”. This or cosmic spritz as a maintenance over power lock Every 3 months has power lock lasting a year outside daily driving before stripping, 3800 polishing and re applying. Still using Chemical guys glossworks for maintenance washing. The only product they have left worth buying. This has been my go to system for a while now! Love your channel.

    People who are commenting saying this stuff isn't worth the price tag have clearly never seen these products perform with their own eyes. A video will not do these product's justice as you have to see the gloss and hydrophobics for yourself to fully appreciate it. Polish Angel is not meant for somebody who is looking to spend the least amount of money protecting their vehicle. Directly comparing this product to anything from Turtle Wax is absolutely a joke. Aside from that.... fantastic video as always man.

      Thanks Jordan! I can say for a fact that I don't want to spend what Polish Angel is requesting, but I WILL spend that amount when I run out in the future. They're too satisfying of a spray protectant to work with to not have one of these on the shelf at any given time.
      And you're right, I can't capture the entire experience on camera of what these are like to work with, it's just different than anything else that I've used. And perhaps that uniqueness commands a premium when you combine that with the amazing hydrophobics and great wipeability of their formulas. I need to get my hands on some of the other products in the lineup, these three are the only ones that I've used so far and I'm not disappointed.

    While yes, Polish Angel is on the end of the higher priced products in Auto Detailing, I still really enjoy using all of their products. Many people will say "No way, there's nothing worth that!", "That's ridiculous". I will say that Polish Angel is for enthusiast ONLY! If you are not an enthusiast, you probably shouldn't buy their products. For those who enjoy using the BEST detailing products available on the market today, Polish Angel has those type products. EVERYTHING they make is very well thought out, well engineered, and quite simply WORKS! And works INCREDIBLY WELL! I just compounded, polished, and sealed my car using their "Master" series and my car looks stunning. I just did the wheels with Supersports, their liquid wheel sealant, which is another great product that can be used "stand alone" or on top of any wax, sealant, or wheel coating. And I love their "DIVER" glass cleaner which does have a little window sealant in it as well. I sealed my windows using Glassparency and then I use DIVER as the maintenance product. It's the most expensive window cleaner there is, but again, you get what you pay for with it. Very few window products work like DIVER does. More are coming out as of late though. CLARIFY by Car Pro is another fantastic window product but I think DIVER is definitely a notch above anything else. I love everything about Polish Angel and I will continue to use their products just because I enjoy using them. I'm jumping up to their Color infused wax next which is crazy expensive but again, I only use the products on my good car. I do NOT use them on my daily drivers. I use other products for that which work effectively too because I just don't want to spend that kind of money on a daily driver. There is definitely a market out there for Polish Angel. Thanks for doing this video, it's a great one!

    Another killer video man!!! I saw this pop up and was excited. I can NOT wait to give the GSX a Polish Angel makeover. Surprises me the identical performance in Rapidwaxx vs High gloss. Both fantastic though. I agree, they need to re visit there label making and make them look better for the price they charge. Looking forward to more tests brother!👍🏻👍🏻

    • @WaxMode
      @WaxMode  4 года назад +3

      Thanks Smurf! Yeah I can't wait to see that GSX all glossed up! I think the bulk of the chemistry between Rapidwaxx, High Gloss, and Cosmic Spritz is pretty similar when we get down to the fundamentals. The SDS sheets are all listing different mixtures of titanium-dioxide and silicon-dioxide, so in the very short term they do showcase some very comparable hydrophobics and wipeability. Ultimately Cosmic Spritz and High Gloss might edge out Rapidwaxx in longterm durability, but I'm going to be using all of them on a regular basis if I had them on a garage queen which really negates that durability stat.
      I need to grab a darker painted daily driver and really try and focus on the jetting and depth and reflectance capabilities of High Gloss, I have seen guys say that High Gloss is the more impressive finish. Yeah dude, definitely looking forward to your video on Polish Angel!

    I have Cosmic Spritz and High Gloss haven't tried the Rapid wax. I would say the High Gloss on my dark blue Civic is of the chart in reflectivity . I think I will need to top my CSL/EXO coating with some High Gloss. Polish Angel products are handmade in Germany and shipped directly from Germany nothing better . The Cosmic coating is simple to use but not as durable as the CSL/EXO combo coating. You need wait for AutoGeek to have good sale get a gallon of Reset . I have gallon of Iron X also since I use every 6 months to decon my coated cars.You need 3 way shoot out with Cosmic Spritz in there. I like use Cosmic during the winter months as a topper since I found it more durable. Love to see you put in a 3 way battle. You order directly from Polish Angel and ship fast directly from Germany by DHL .

    • @WaxMode

      Cheers Doc! Yeah I would definitely reach for Cosmic Spritz or High Gloss on top of CSL/EXO as opposed to C2v3. I might put CSL and EXOv4 on the Honda test car for the next batch of coating durability tests, as well as Gyeon Syncro, and the new Ethos Graphene Matrix coating.
      I actually snagged up these three Polish Angel products during the 30% off sale that Autopia was running years ago, kind of disappointed they're not restocking the line but I think they were having some issues with the US distribution chain for Polish Angel. I haven't tried ordering direct from Polish Angel yet.

    Many thanks for your time as always. The nightmare inside these bottles can cause problems with clogging especially when temps drop.Running the bottle under warm water helps.
    I’ve been a big fan of high gloss for a while and haven’t found anything that comes close. However, I recently starting playing with the carnauba arts gray graphite, I was so impressed by the appearance I ordered the gold to see what effect it would have. The carnauba arts series has outstanding water sheeting (just like high gloss). At a car meet over the weekend I was asked several times what I used on my car to make it glow. Anyway, there are some of us that use these products as toppers and prefer great shine and glow that last a wash or two compared to long lasting durability. It would be awesome to get your opinion on carnauba arts.

    I still have trouble wrapping my head around why beading is a "thing"? Imo, since I own a Black car with soft paint, my #1 issue is with water spotting, so why isn't there a product line that "sheets" water off the surface? As long as there is a hydrophobic character to the surface why not make a water sheeting product that will not leave water spots when those "beads" dry?

    • @WaxMode
      @WaxMode  4 года назад +9

      I've run a lot of testing and observations with spotting with a variety of different products with varying degrees of hydrophobic and hydrophilic behaviors. The only surface that is able really avoid spotting are the highly contaminated fully hydrophilic unprotected surfaces. Basically all the neighbors' cars that have never washed or waxed the paint for years.
      On clean paint, when I decontaminate it and polish the surface and leave it unprotected, that surface is still going to produce a large amount of individual beading left behind even after a monster rainstorm, it's repelling the water faster than the rainstorm can populate the paint to form the water sheet and flood the surface. You would need a product that leaves a less hydrophobic or more hydrophilic footprint than clean/bare/decontaminated/unprotected clearcoat to avoid spotting. And I haven't seen any product on the market that is able to do this.
      Because of the inability for the market to produce overly hydrophilic and durable paint protectants, the spotting issue cannot be 100% avoided, it doesn't matter if the beads left behind on the paint are oblong and larger, or round and tight, spotting occurs when standing water is left behind in individual beads when allowed to dry if the water is not 100% pure.
      Less hydrophobic products that sheet water off when flooding with the hose nozzle, this sheeting is only beneficial to me when I'm the one in control of that water nozzle. Left behind in a rainstorm, these products never produce a hydrophilic water sheet and I'm left with exorbitant water beading, so they don't hold a higher utility for me compared to the extremely hydrophobic paint protectants that are super easy to blow dry the water off the paint without using a drying towel.

    • @cruzscarwash2089
      @cruzscarwash2089 4 года назад

      This was addressed by meguiars in the 90s they had waxes that would sheet more then bead. The consumer wanted beading so meguairs changed their formulation to answer the demand of the consumer.
      They do have a select handful of sealants and coatings that sheet more then bead but nothing like we non spotters are looking for.

    After using Polishangel Rapidwaxx for about 2 years now on four cars that I've owned/own in that time I have to say, it's my favorite detailing product so far. This stuff absolutely excells in almost every aspect and when you consider its durability and the amount of product actually used per application it isn't that expensive at all. With the contents of one 500 ml bottle a car is perfectly coated for a full two years easily. Probably longer. That's 45$ spread over 24+ months for something that is my hobby, my absolute passion... That's less than two bucks per month and I couldn't disagree more with those who say that's too expensive. But hey, that's just my opinion.

    • @WaxMode
      @WaxMode  2 года назад +1

      Appreciate the feedback! I still love pulling them out, and after all these years the shelf life appears to be holding up perfectly. I still think they're absolutely hosing us on pricing, especially when you make the jump from Rapidwaxx to High Gloss and Cosmic Spritz. Increasing SiO2 and TiO2 levels should not result in a 200%+ increase in price, and the rest of the base chemistry appears to be identical in function between them.
      If the only thing they're changing is those levels of SiO2 and TiO2, then their pricing makes zero sense to me. They could drop the price across the board and utterly dominate the market with volume. Or I'm wrong and the raw materials between them are a major price factor that determines their pricing, but I doubt that's the case. Just like with Zymol and Swissvax back in the day, exclusivity alone is the attributor to high pricing, not performance or raw materials.

      No I haven't gotten my hands on any of the Chemical Guys Hydro line yet. There are definitely some Chemical Guys products that I really enjoy and I want to post some videos up of them, I actually just picked up VRP for the first time recently and dressed the engine bay of my BMW E28 daily, this stuff looks fantastic. Put it on the tires as well and it covered incredibly, perfect amount of shine for me.
      As far as soaps go, I'm a sucker for the foaming soaps in the foam cannon, I do know that some of the sio2 based soaps are not crazy foamers and some of them you have to be careful with them in direct sunlight due to some streaking that can pop up. Ethos Foam Party has been great, Meguiar's Hyper-Wash, Turtle Wax ICE Snow Foam, great foamers.

    Good job my friend ! 👍 👍 👍. I love the sprayer of these angel wax bottles, I have the same ones on ipa facom power 6 cleanser bottles, robust and a good spray !. The white nozzle that you use on high pressure, is it a 40 ° ?.
    I also bought the carpro dhydrate drying microfiber. I wash it with chemical guys microfiber wash and at 30 ° C (86 ° F), and on the first wash, the twisted fibers come undone a bit? (only a few), is this normal, you too?
    Otherwise it is superb, in 70x100cm (28x40 ") it has a fairly substantial weight to remove the water just by pulling it towards you on the paint !, one of the best that I have tried! It leaves behind a completely paint dry 😲. But I'm afraid it won't absorb as much if the twisted come undone !?
    Thanks in advance for your help and experience!

      Thanks Nico! I actually haven't had any issues with the DHydrate towel's fibers coming undone, I have the smaller version and it's held up great. But absolutely, these twisted loop fibers really soak up the water, especially when they're nice and fresh. I usually add a small amount of distilled vinegar in the rinse phase of the wash to try and keep them nice and absorbent. Gyeon Silk Dryer towel and Griot's PFM drying towels are also twisted loop and comparable to the DHydrate towel, but the Griot's is doubled sided.
      I think these sprayers work great as well, especially with that slightly thicker formula of the Polish Angel sprays. I bought extras years ago of this style sprayer years ago at USPlastic to use on some of my various extra bottles and they've held up great.

    Polish Angel products are great for optics but in my experience I’d rather use a product like BSD for durability. Best way to use PA products would be to open the bottle, pour just a little on a MF towel and spread on the panel. Their marketing strategy is a good for attracting consumers by using optics. The clumps in the bottle, the DHL delivered packages that seem as if it flew in from Europe overnight and their delicate looking bottles with delicate labels. This give the consumer the feeling of paying the higher price is worth it. Don’t get me wrong, their products are really good but fall a little short of being really great.

    I've come here for the rinsedown action!
    I've never been interested in Polish Angel products because of the steep price without really offering anything groundbreaking (in MY opinion), but man, look at those BEADS!! I'm a sucker for trying out products that produce surface tension at that level, even though I already have enough products that do the same thing. There's just something addicting about it. It's hard to tell with accuracy from the camera, but am I right in saying that rapidwaxx is more hydrophobic than Fusso/CQUK 3.0? It seems like it from that clip, I might just have to try it out since you say it ALSO feels slick. There's so many things I wanna try out now, that new graphene coating from ethos seems very nice, but again, is pretty pricey. I checked out their website and one thing that puts me off is their marketing style. One of their products literally says that it's used by NASA in the space shuttle. Come on. Adams has a new graphene coating which looks very similar but cheaper.
    By the way, I've used the Kamikaze Overcoat V3.0 a few times now, and while the hydrophobics when topping a coating are definitely on point, I'm just not in love with it. Works really well as a drying aid, but when applied to a dry surface it's pretty uninspiring. I like reload better in that case and it feels noticeably slicker than the Overcoat. Ok winded post over.

    • @WaxMode
      @WaxMode  4 года назад

      Hey Andres! I think both a fresh Fusso Coat and CQUK 3.0 would slightly outperform Polish Angel in hydrophobics in the short term, but it's super close. I should have a video of the Ethos Graphene coating in the future, I'll definitely get that set up on the test car when I get it in and remove the CQUK.
      I appreciate the feedback on the latest Overcoat! I do want to eventually get into some of the Kamikaze line of coatings in the future, and I absolutely want one of Kai's backing plates for the Rupes to play around with. Just need that winning lottery ticket to hit!

      @WaxMode  4 года назад

      Hey D C, so I don't have as much experience with the Gold Class liquid version, I've worked with mainly the paste version. And for the M26 Hi-Tech Yellow Wax, I've only worked with the liquid version. Gold Class Paste is going to be more of a heavier, polishing style wax. Whereas M26 is a lighter pure wax.
      So if you have some contamination or aren't working with a polisher, the Gold Class Paste wax using this by hand and going over the sections a bit more, this can be more beneficial to possibly hide or cover up some more of those defects compared to what M26 could do. And if the paint is in great shape, the M26 is going to be a great option to bring out some awesome gloss.
      Neither one of those will be the most durable waxes, I'd reapply every 1-2 months.

    You say it's less slick than Bead Maker... Why is it better? Just asking.

    • @WaxMode
      @WaxMode  4 года назад +1

      Bead Maker can be a great product, but by itself it just doesn't have the hydrophobic footprint that is anywhere near the level that Polish Angel offers. On some waxes and sealants that are very hydrophobic, Bead Maker can reduce their hydrophobic performance when applying them on top. I've had great results using Bead Maker on top of the stronger coatings with them not being hindered by its less hydrophobic potential, they're able to really boost Bead Maker up.
      But Polish Angel across the board on top of waxes, sealants, and coatings is going to be able to maintain or boost their hydrophobic performance. So for that reason, it's just a much more balanced product and I am willing to sacrifice some top end slickness in favor of that more balanced all around performance that Polish Angel provides.
      Also, Bead Maker is definitely much different than Polish Angel as far as wipeability goes and product consistency, Bead Maker is much closer to your typical spray detailer or spray wax, whereas Polish Angel is much thicker, less product spreads a little further, and you don't want to dump anywhere near as much Polish Angel on the paint compared to how much guys are using for Bead Maker.
      I like both but I prefer Polish Angel.

    • @sportscarnut
      @sportscarnut 4 года назад +1

      @@WaxMode Thanks! But.. why is hydrophobicity so important? Isn't slickness more important, especially in drier regions?

    • @WaxMode
      @WaxMode  4 года назад +1

      It's just a personal preference. For me slickness is usually the first thing to really leave the paint because we have hard water and that really saps the slickness out during the wash process, unless I'm using a rinseless wash. And so the slickness I really only get to enjoy during usage, whereas the hydrophobic potential holds up beyond the single use. Also even though the paint feels marginally slicker, this doesn't mean that dirt/dust/contamination has a tougher time sticking to the paint. I've got a testament from a lot of Bead Maker users that have had specific issues with this actually attracting more dust/pollen compared to others, although I haven't noticed this out of Bead Maker myself.
      And once you get addicted to the crazy hydrophobic range that some products can offer, it's difficult to leave that behind. On the coatings, nothing is better than to get done rinsing the soap off, and then just pulling the blower out and 100% dry the paint without touching it with the drying towel.

      Turtle Wax doesn't offer the same topping capabilities as Polish Angel does. I'm not going to use Seal N Shine or Ceramic Spray Coating on any of the stronger more hydrophobic base layer coatings themselves, whereas the Polish Angel sprays provide that utility of being universal toppers, and they excel on those crazy hydrophobic coatings by not reducing their hydrophobic performance in the short term, which is something I've noticed occur when topping the stronger coatings with Turtle Wax.
      The wipeability of Polish Angel also greatly exceeds what the two Turtle Wax sprays are capable of achieving without the damp microfiber assist, making PA a much more enjoyable and satisfying product to work with on a regular basis. This is one of those situations where durability and price doesn't trump the utility and ease of use and hydrophobic potential of the product, especially for guys like me that are working outside of a tight budget and have stronger preferences for different features beyond pure durability or chemical resistance.

    Another great vid. I think you've made up my mind about Polish Angel, but which one though? I initially was looking toward Cosmic Primer and Cosmic Spritz or High Gloss, but checking out the price of Rapidwaxx I'm slightly leaning that way. I don't mind applying protection on a fairly regular basis, not every wash, but once or twice a month I enjoy. I have a black car so I'm after as much gloss as I can get and was hoping this might do the trick.
    I'm trying to improve on this ruclips.net/video/Kq6G62aT-kc/видео.html
    So although I've now narrowed a brand down, I'm now trying to decide between Primer and Spritz, High Gloss or Rapidwaxx.

      Black Light and Jet Seal visually look fantastic, I still quite like Black Light especially, and CG’s Glossworkz glaze. As far as Polish Angel goes, I think it’s worth checking out Rapidwaxx’s 200ml size first.
      There are some out there that can find differences between High Gloss, Cosmic Spritz, and Rapidwaxx, but for me they are very similar in terms of feel and effect. They all have that unique feel that Polish Angel has perfected as a spray, so spending less with Rapidwaxx to get your feet wet is worth it. From there you can experiment by jumping up to Cosmic Spritz or High Gloss, although the benefit those may offer may be only marginal at best above Rapidwaxx.
      As far as looks, I’m not sure if these can quite top what Black Light and Jet Seal can deliver, High Gloss has become a favorite of many in terms of looks but I could not notice any difference on the colors that I had been testing them on the most. What Polish Angel really offers is the most satisfying spray protection or spray wax experience that no one else has mastered quite as well, and they offer top notch coating compatibility. Outright paint protection will always be the best with actual paint coatings, but I have my fun with the maintenance, and the Polish Angel trio have all done really well on top of the base layer coatings.

      @@WaxMode hhi and thanks for the detailed reply. I'm using jet seal and blacklist at the moment. As you say, rapidwaxx is possibly a good vet to try. Thanks again. Cheers 🍻

    too expensive for me. I'll stick with Meguiars Synthetic Spray Wax

      I've never actually used Meguiar's D156, I've always used Ultimate Quik Wax and was so infatuated with how UQW smelled that I never had the desire to grab the gallon of D156. Fantastic topper though, Meguiar's really nailed it with the UQW/D156 formula.

      @@WaxMode how do you compare UQW to RapidWaxx?
      I use UQW as a drying aid every wash, so longevity isn’t a concern. Looking for feedback on beading, ease of application, ability to fill light marring.

    This stuff is not worth the price premium

      I will pay the price premium, because I'm out of my mind and right now there's nothing else that I've used that is as satisfying to use in the spray category that provides this balanced of a performance as far as hydrophobics and ease of use goes. I will not be without one of these sprays in my arsenal at any one time, they're that good to me.

      Find something that does everything this does for less.. there isn't anything sadly, as mentioned in the video.

      With Polish Angel it's not just about the destination/results but also about the journey/user experience.
      The stuff is just ridiculously entertaining to use and if that has a higher cost, so be it. After all, this is supposed to be fun, no?

    Honeslty I dont think anyone understands how little product you can get away with. You can probably get atleast 6-8 applications on a station wagon with a 100ml bottle. I barely use anything to cover my entire Volvo V70. A local detailer who only use Polishangel can get away with less than 5ml of Rapidwaxx on an entire car. Getting this many applications out of a tiny bottle its cheaper than many worse spraywaxes.

      Just watched this again, for some context i think your are saying rapidwaxx doesn't have any added scent. Its the chemical makeup like you said. I think your right! I love rapidwaxx!

      @@WaxMode I have heard of this Polish Angel from a friend detailer in California and he had this product at home. He told me that this product performs consistently great always but he didn't care about the scent if it performed and concurs with the labels part. He told me they had also this FLAKE product that makes no foaming for washing the car that is a carnauba soap. The water looks milky and even used as waterless wash. He knew about this product in Spain where they use it a lot too. He told me they make their products environmentally safe. They had one called Ultra something or Centurion but forgot if it was a wax for black vehicles or if it was for deep cleaning that acts fast but doesn't damage waxes or sealant. Sorry, forgot the names.
      If I recall correctly Apex Detail did a video on V2 and my friend told me it is ok to use V2 alone but if you use the primer 9H prior to V2, it will last longer and cure time is 12 hours. The shine and durability is .something you never believe. I don't have it but that is one of the products most used in Spain and Argentina.
      I use super clean because it is readily accessible and available in Advanced Auto but Bilt Hamber Surfex HD is best thing. Same happens with Bilt Hamber Auto Wash or WaxPlanet Eight Below or Ultimate but readily accessible and available is Chemical Guys Honeydew except it is not as a good cleaner as the previous two.
      Xoxo from Puerto Rico 👍🇵🇷
