No, try Aces High. Try Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Alexander the Great, Blood Brothers, 2 Minutes to Midnight, Flight of Icarus.... and many, many more better songs than Wasted Years. :) But of course WY is one of the greatest. Classic.
This is definitely one of their best . The guitar rhythms are on point. This song was released on their 1986 album “ Somewhere in Time”. Yes they are still together. their most recent effort is “ Book of Souls” which is a tremendous album. My favorite song on that album is “ Empire of the Clouds” which is 17 mins long. The song is based on the true story of the “ R 101’” which was the largest airship ever built that tragically crashed. Maiden is my favorite all time band . Your reaction vids are adorable. Love u guys ! ❤️🤘🏻
No, One of The Best for me is Powerslave and Fear of The Dark!! Wasted Years are Amazing, But this Album my Favorite Song is Caught Somewhere in Time!!
The song is from 1986, in the album “Somewhere in time”. The band was created in 1975 by the bassist Steve Harris. Iron Maiden still kick ass from 1975 to now. We are waiting for a new album. Great reactions girls, keep on!
That skeleton is their mascot Mr.Eddie, has been on every album since the beginning in 1980 (i dont remember Blaze era though) and the song is from 1986 from album Somewhere in Time i belive its called and on the same album there is a little track call Alexander the Great the story of Macedonia, you should check it out, one of their best titles to this day
He was on the Blaze era too. On X Factor he was attached to some metal object and had all kinds of machinery digging into him. And it also wasn’t regular illustrated artwork, it looked more like a figure of an action figure or something. And on Virtual XI is had a kid sitting on the ground with like a virtual reality gaming headset on, and Eddie was reaching for him and surrounding the environment he was sitting in.
It’s not one of their later songs, this was still during their classic era. But I’m glad that you guy picked up on the fact the video was showing older stuff. It wasn’t just the pictures, but a lot of the random stuff that was in the video are from past Iron Maiden videos or moments of their on camera, so it was supposed to seem reminiscent. This was a good reaction, I’m glad you guys enjoyed it.
Love Maiden. This was their peak IMO. Nothing was bigger at that time. I almost cry every time I hear this. Great song but more of a moment in time for me...not trying to cry everyday....lol
All the guys in iron maiden are actually really happy jolly funny guys. Bruce is a legend. This is one of my favourite songs of theirs. Nice reaction beautiful ladies.
yeah ladies Maiden is still kicking ass on tour . well when we get back to normal they will be back out there i seen them 3 times and each time they sounded better then the last .
This video probably came out in 1987 or about that time yes they’ve had many albums since then and are still playing live and kicking ass to this day in 2020.
They used Eddie because they didn't want themselves on the albums and with Eddie you'd always know it was iron maiden, this album came out in 1986, absolutely beautiful song and it's about their extensive touring, always away from home and the people they love back home but this applies to each and every one of us, living right now! Beautiful song. Sincerely Lorenzo gig harbor Washington.
FunwithDee&A if you are wondering if they are still doing it.....check Rock in Rio Legasy of the Beast tour! i promise you that you have not seen a live performance like that before.... it was broadcasted live in Brazilian television and the rights for their concert were bought by a 100 or something countries!!!Greetings from Greece and Australia ! :D
Iron Maiden's Discography (Studio albums): Iron Maiden (1980) Killers (1981) The Number of the Beast (1982) Piece of Mind (1983) Powerslave (1984) Somewhere in Time (1986) - Wasted Years is on this album Seventh Son of a Seventh Son (1988) No Prayer for the Dying (1990) Fear of the Dark (1992) The X Factor (1995) Virtual XI (1998) Brave New World (2000) Dance of Death (2003) A Matter of Life and Death (2006) The Final Frontier (2010) The Book of Souls (2015)
Good song but a short one by them again. Come on, please react to their long epics yet! You're missing a lot: - Rime Of The Ancient Mariner - Alexander The Great - Dance Of Death - The Nomad - Sign Of The Cross - The Clansman - Phantom Of The Opera - When The Wild Wind Blows - Fear Of The Dark - Caught Somewhere In Time - Paschendale - Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son - Blood Brothers (ballad-ish but still a long epic imo) - Empire Of The Clouds - Revelations - Powerslave - Afraid To Shoot Strangers
@Utku Hasan, I agree with you. This is a great list of songs for them to react to. If I had to add a song I would add The Longest Day off of Matter of Life and Death. Otherwise, great list.
thanks for the videos. im confined in north spain since day 12.. every day is shit but at least i laugh. the cool et joke made my day. another day more away from my gf
I'm not sure about all of the iron maiden that you've done yet but the song is definitely not very recent. We used to listen to this song and when I was in high school which was 1984 through 1988 when I was in high school
I don’t k ow if you two are taking reaction requests, but if you are. Heaven & Hell, Bible Black or Heaven Hell Die Young. Videos are both from Wacken. There is something special about the performances.
This song is not that "recent" unless you consider 1988 recent? LOL But you are correct that they used a lot of old select footage from behind-the-scenes and previous music videos of their songs (and countless samples of the artwork - by Derek Riggs - featuring their mascot, Eddie T Head) to encapsulate their career up to that point (nearly a decade).
How about some hard rockin' girl power? *The Warning* are 3 sisters that went viral 6 years ago with their cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman when they were all under the age of 15. Now they are working on their 3rd album, have had to postpone a 30-city North American tour, and their Kickstarter went 585%. This is Dust to Dust, from their Queen of the Murder Scene album, a girl's descent into murder and madness: ruclips.net/video/TeIbG8nkOiU/видео.html
hahahaha how amusing girls, it shows that they do not know but nothing about Rock, the music goes to a rhythm and its body movement by another hahahaha

Hello girls, good video like always, you can be react some Death Metal, i recommended the song by Death: Open Casket from album Leprosy, one of the best bands in Death Metal. Greetings from Chile 🤘🤘🤘
Not their best but very catchy. A good sing along song with a good message. Their best live video is Fear of the Dark Rock in Rio. Check out the crowd. If you want a realy epic song then try Rime of the Ancient Mariner. A fan favorite.
Make video, reacting to Power metal, for example to songs by Sonata Arctica - Running lights, Sonata Arctica - FullMoon maybe also to some song from DragonForce - Through The Fire And Flames
Coucou les sympathiques "p'tites cousines d'outre atlantique." .. Bises
Is this the best Iron Maiden song?? Do you agree the golden years are left behind?
No, try Aces High. Try Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Alexander the Great, Blood Brothers, 2 Minutes to Midnight, Flight of Icarus.... and many, many more better songs than Wasted Years. :) But of course WY is one of the greatest. Classic.
Una de mis canciones preferidas es "Afraid to shoot strangers".
This is definitely one of their best . The guitar rhythms are on point. This song was released on their 1986 album “ Somewhere in Time”. Wasted Years are Amazing, But this Album my Favorite Song is Caught Somewhere in Time!!
Love you Honeys ♥️
In the nearly 40 years of being a Maiden fan I've never heard them being called "cute". I can live with that though, can you?
Eddie is Maiden's mascot. You can see him on the cover to most of their albums
You mean all of their albums
All of their albums in some way and even on Nicko’s massive drum set
Eddie the Head is on every album, just in different forms.
Some albums also have easter eggs, like on Powerslave.
Not most
Every single one
Actually, Antonio
Eddie graces the cover of all of Iron Maiden's albums
The song is from 1986, in the album “Somewhere in time”. The band was created in 1975 by the bassist Steve Harris. Iron Maiden still kick ass from 1975 to now. We are waiting for a new album. Great reactions girls, keep on!
That guitar solo is out of this world. All hail Adrian Smith the Axemaster!

On the video you notice they show years ago when they were young, different tours and countries, such an emotional song, very beautiful.
The funny thing is Adrian Smith who is now in his 60’s wrote this song in 1986 when he was in his 20’s.
The message is don't live in the past, make the present the golden years. Great song, love the guitars in the beginning and middle.
One of the best videos for one of the best songs!

Beautiful that one...❤
When I understood the lyrics... I almost cry...

Now Im 28... but its beautiful...❤❤⚖⚖⚖🍷
You were 20 in 1986 and now you're 28?
Thus song was released in 1986. They are still recording albums and touring.
Iron Maiden is still playing, selling albums and arenas around the world.
Alexander the Great is amazing as is Rime of the Ancient Mariner live from Flight 666, check them out, all the cool kids are doing it.
My favorite Iron Maiden song! And you two are so damn adorable.
This video probably came out in 1987 or about that time yes they’ve had many albums since then and are still playing live and kicking ass to this day in 2020.
"Eddie" is the skeletal mascot.
From their 7th album in 1986. Early-middle era.
1986, from the Somewhere in Time album
They used Eddie because they didn't want themselves on the albums and with Eddie you'd always know it was iron maiden, this album came out in 1986, absolutely beautiful song and it's about their extensive touring, always away from home and the people they love back home but this applies to each and every one of us, living right now! Fun fact, lead singer Bruce Dickinson is a train commercial pilot. He once piloted the tour plane and performed at all once.
"Holy Smoke" is a great track aswell.
The band likes to joke around,.... a lot!
The face you made at the beginning when you got a chill made it all worth it 😂🤣😂. Otherwise 👍👍👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
" ... their logo is like a cooler E.T. ... "

If you two wanna take it to the next level, React to a Van Halen "Eruption" live performance. You will be in awe for life.
1986 have made 10 albums since :)
FYI, The Iron maiden mascot(skeleton lol) is called Eddie,or Eddie the Head, another great reaction my favourite you tube sisters.
Eddie, the Iron Maiden mascot, is more of a living corpse with hairspray 80's metal hair than an alien. Though he could be both =P
Good song but a short one by them again. Come on, please react to their long epics yet! You're missing a lot:
- Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
