My sisters and i were reunited in a boystown residential home in NY. I am grateful for our time there (1997 until 2000), we were able to attend a prestigious private school. Most of us still keep in touch and consider each other family. I hate that any children may have been abused in Omaha, i used to want to visit there.
I am a trauma counsellor in Canada and watched the Boys Town documentary years ago. It was shocking at the time. I often counsel children that have been sexually abused and many that were going through the court process. Thank you so much for bringing this topic of sexual trafficking and sexual abuse of children at Boys Town up again. These creeps want to hide under the carpet but we can't allow that. Society has an ethical obligation to protect children. Your explanation of the legal powerlessness of these children reminds me so much of the thousands of children that were hurt in similar institutions here in Canada: the Indian Residential Schools. Children in institutions are especially vulnerable and society has a shared obligation. Thanks for your efforts to bring these topics to light.
Sandy! Thanks for your comment and insight! As you know, this topic is extremely controversial but, regardless, when children are involved, it MUST be brought front and center! Thank you for the encouragement in doing so! I do hope to bring a few more personal stories in new update videos sometime soon!
I grew up not far from Boys Town. What was weird is that we as kids going to public school had to go on field trips to Boys Town a few different times over the years. I always heard horrible stories of things that happened there. I absolutely hated going on those field trips. Every time I was there I had such a terrible erie feeling.. I don’t really know how to explain it. Everything just felt off, like somethings not right here, sense of evil energy.
That's the exact feeling I've had every time I've driven through the Boys Town community. It's hard to explain but it's a strong feeling that you can't ignore!
Today I saw it for the first time. I was working in Omaha for a couple of weeks and on my way to the airport I look over and see this massive building that looks like a prison. I couldn't stop looking at it as I was driving on the freeway. Immediately my entire energy changed. I was watching the sunrise on my drive feeling happy and look over and see that place. A weird feeling came over me. Continue driving to the airport and need to stop and fill up the rental car when navigation took me down some side streets and low and behold I look over and I'm right in front of that massive prison looking building. A strange sad feeling swept over me and I just wanted to get away from that building as quickly as possible. When I got home today I started looking into it and found these videos.
Wow. I know there's lots of differing opinions of this location - good and bad - but, like myself and others, you felt that energy, that dark energy. It's hard to ignore. Thank you for sharing!!
Im presently having a problem with boystown OMAHA, NE with my 17 year old daughter that has just vanished into to thin air as of 22nd May 2022. The more questions I ask, the more questions I have. The boystown PD has done nothing but road block me on my questions in finding my daughter. I'm asking for help from ANYONE in finding her.
Don't stop. They touched the "lives" of 2 million people. How many of them were hurt. These ppl grew up broken and may be the reason for so much bad shit through out the world today. Keep fighting the good fight!!
Thanks again!! Comments like yours are extremely encouraging especially when a large percentage of comments on these Boys Town videos are to attack me and others. I'm still trying to arrange more interviews but, every time I get closer, the participants stop responding to my emails. But I'm not giving up!
Thanks - it's going to send me back down the endless rabbit hole. Just guessing but is he talking about Troy Bonner who was reluctant but subpoenaed & testified. His family think they killed his brother and then him. A female named Alisha was abused by a connected town 'official' & had a baby. She was given 6 [?] yrs for perjury then exonerated or sued.... And OMG! When he says Johnny but can't give details he doesn't mean J Gosch does he??? His poor, undeterred, unrelenting Mother🙏. Can't wait for more.👊

The tunnels that do exist were not to get kids out. They are utility tunnels for water, electricity and steam pipes for heating the buildings. This person being interviewed has an 🪓 to grind. There were things that happen there that should be address and later had effects on boys who live there. Graduated 1971.
I was there from 1990 to 1999. I would hear rumors here and there but I was so young I didn't really think anything of it. I'm so glad I didn't experience any abuse the time I was there. I feel terrible for the ones that did.😞

Thank you for sharing! I think it's important for those who have had a positive experience with Boys Town to have a voice just like those who haven't. Understandably so, if there was something you'd preferred to have been given more of while there was preparation for what the real world can bring.

Another thing just popped in my mind. You have some kids there that were court placed and others were privately placed. I'm wondering if maybe the kids that were court placed were more subject to abuse. When I was there my adoptive parents were very involved with my activities. They were also involved with my family teachers as well so they were in the know. Others didn't have that type of support system. Maybe with the kids they felt like didn't have support were the ones they took advantage of. I'm not downing boys Town. It's just a thought.
Thanks for shedding the light on this. It’s crazy that my mom received mailing from there and decided to do my research. Good work bro and glad he decided to speak up 🗣💯

To the best of my knowledge, Father Flanagan was never wrapped up in what would become of Boys Town behind the veil. He is the original visionary and is responsible for so much good. It's those that have come after him that have seemingly desecrated the vision Flanagan had behind the mission of Boys Town.
@@Millansmommytobe just curious as to what you would have done if you had seen any of these things? Also, for public interest, can you verify/corroborate or give any further explanation of anything in the interview? Like the tunnels, or how the law enforcement worked?

Kiley, for whatever reason, I'm unable to see the other long form comment you left on this same video so I'll respond to it here. I understand that this original BoysTown video of mine can be received in many different ways. For some, it's been extremely eye-opening. For others, extremely offensive. That's the nature of content creation. I've spoken with and learned from multiple people who have had deeply personal experiences with BoysTown since the release of this video. You mentioned that this video is based on things that happened years ago but I'm here to tell you it still happens based on facts I've received from the conversations I previously mentioned. But perhaps you are saying that anyone who says differently about BoysTown currently is lying or giving false information. If that's the case, I want to encourage you to rethink that and be considerate of things you may not be aware of. I'm no expert. I've never claimed to be one. However, I'm a researcher and learner who seeks out information and truth. Sadly, I have discovered much truth in regards to the continued tainted name of BoysTown. Am I saying they don't do good? Absolutely not! Just as I've spoken with former students with negative experiences, I've spoken with those with incredibly inspiring experiences. This isn't about shaming BoysTown. It's about shedding light on facts that so many people refuse to acknowledge in a world that screams for us all to listen to victims and their stories. That's what I'm doing. I'm listening.
Boys Town Malbazar - India is currently an active network that was created by Father John Thwaytes (deceased). According to my own research on the dark web and on the surface, it seems that there is a hierarchy of funnels on the same network. While not blatantly known on the surface web, all of this corruption began with Francis Sheldon in the 60's and 70's and John D.
