I cooked rasam vada with the help of this recipe today, it was super tasty! Everyone loved it at my place so much that literally Rasam was over & i had to cook again for 2 more people😂 I had cooked jain version though, but it was super delicious & flavourful😍 Vadas also turned out so soft from inside & crunchy from outside ! I had made this dish from scratch for the very first time in my life & i am very happy that everyone loved it & enjoyed it thoroughly in this monsoon!
When I was working few years back my south indian friend used to bring rasam chaval and my tiffin was chapati bhaji we both used to exchange our tiffins as she was very fond of Mahastrian food.. Missing my dearest friend and rasam a lot😢 Thank you Chef for sharing this simple and delicious tangy rasam recipe.❤

Hi 👋 me and my son made it as it was raining in UK too and it turned out so delicious 😋..As I have eaten this before in my childhood when I was in India but my sons they havent tried this before. Largely techniques and ingredients are similar; so it’s easy to adapt. Actually in UP also we make vada(which we call ‘bara’) but we do not aerate the dal batter, hence the bara is tough and chewy. It is traditionally prepared during festivals.

बहोत बढिया आप छोटी छोटी बाते भी बता देते है जैसे कि डाल रस्सम को अगर गाढी हो जाये तो उसमे पाणी ऍड करते समय वो गरम डालना चाहिए ना कि ठंडा.
