Or imagine if they would’ve taken Shaq over Christian Laettner. That was the summer before Shaq’s rookie season when he went on to avg 23pts 14rebs and 3.5blks. He was the first rookie to make the allstar team since MJ and he won rookie of the year. Young Shaq on the original Dream Team would’ve not only made them the best Olympic basketball team, they would’ve undoubtedly been the best sports team in the entire history of sports.
