Trust me guys! This youtube Channel is a gem and is going to help a lot of people going forward! I've seen my understanding of Dynamo increase drastically after watching just a few videos and I'm learning slowly everyday. Thanks again mate! Respect your work!
Thanks for the kind words, glad you have found improvement in your skills from the channel! I hope to release some python early to mid next year (I'm still learning this part too for now!).
Awesome content. You have some of the best Dynamo&Python YT videos and I find them super helpful and thoroughly explained. Thank you so much for your time and dedication!
You're welcome! I hope the series helps you find some new techniques and ideas. Check out the Orchid package, some great family related nodes in there (such as open families in background, then add/set parameter values). Also Rhythm has a bulk family upgrade tool as well.
Thanks for sharing. I start to learn Dynamo again!!! I have learned several times, but all what I learned are "theories". Thanks for sharing such a lot pratical stuff, what we "day to day" uses. Not like others, all from functions of nodes. I forget most of them if I don't use it.
That's awesome - exactly what I was aiming for with this series! Always happy to help if you need more pointers and practical use scripts; definitely the best way for learning to 'stick'. It actually took me until my fifth time learning Dynamo scripting for me to understand it!
Hi Gavin, you have two learn series about Dynamo (Learn Dynamo Series and Dynamo Tuotorial) which playlist would you recommend ? iam in between intermediate and begginner
Generally I'd recommend my video tutorials if you're comfortable with dynamo fundamentals. This series is also quite old, I ended up making a course in the end which is more up to date: courses.bimguru.education/ I keep this series here though as it's free and I tend to prefer to keep old content up even if it's not 100% up to date.
Hello, I want to self teach myself dynamo myself, however I am interested in the MEP side of things. I wonder if I watch this series would be a good start to use Dynamo in general or if you have recommended videos that focus on MEP that would be great
The only channel I know that does dynamo mep regularly is Greg Palermo, although Sigma AEC solutions has some dynamo mep content on their website if you google them. This series is a bit dated now but is ok for a general entry point. I have a more concise general series here also (albeit paid): courses.bimguru.education/courses/course-dynamo-4revit
I'm just starting and want to get a general idea about Dynamo, I didn't use it in my daily work as of now, but I'm trying to improve my skills, wish it's not difficult to learn lol
Its only difficult if you rush or skip core fundamentals. Make sure to also go through dynamo primer and maybe check out my more recent course which is polished vs this series which is fairly old now. courses.bimguru.education/courses/course-dynamo-4revit
I don't really have a good sample model unfortunately when it comes to MEP (my background is architectural). If you have one I'd be happy to try to use it to demonstrate though in a future video. Feel free to email further.
@@AussieBIMGuru How can I get sources or any information that will help me in the research, I have a project at the end of the study and I searched a lot and could not find anything other than paid courses. If you can guide me, I will be grateful to you
@@frankabagnale5930 i suggest searching here and asking on dynamo forums for advice: www.autodesk.com/autodesk-university/au-online Not everything is free, so if you limit yourself to free resources it will take longer to find them of course

Also, are you going to release some python tutorials for Architects in the future maybe? Would be really helpful!
Thanks for the kind words, glad you have found improvement in your skills from the channel!

I saw your logo and your thumbnail layout and legit thought pro content and it didnt disappoint
Thanks mate! Yeah formatting was my first task before i began to release vids. Glad you liked the content 😀
I am new to Dynamo and I hope this series will be the chance to start and learn something which I can use in my daily work Thank you for this tutorial
Fantastic, i hope so too! If you have any questions or challenges feel free to let me know - more than happy to help 😀
This is exactly what I was looking for. I´m an Architect trying to manage lots of data on a family library in my office. Thank you!

Really excited to dig into this class and with high expectations lol. Thanks for your time and dedication!
You're welcome. It's a bit outdated now and I'm working on a paid course currently, but I hope this helps in the meantime (and is free too!).
Awsome Playlist... a must watch for anyone who want to learn dynamo..Cheers..
Glad you think so!

How to create a new command in revit? For dynamo script how to assign a command and how we can use it in revit as like command
Use pyRevit or Nonicatab which can run scripts via buttons and you can assign shortcuts to those.
Hello
I'm fascinated by your work
Can you show us how to develop a dynamo script that calculates duct fitting areas

thank you, Sir do you have videos that explain how to model a structure by script dynamo?
Not really me field of expertise unfortunately (architecture is my focus). Might be worth looking into previous Autodesk universities for resources.
