Here we are. The final boss. At least, part 1 of it. Just like nearly every RPG type game ever, there's more than one fight for the final boss. This game is no exception. So the not so surprising boss is Van, again. It's a really fun set of fights, IMO. Don't walk into this fight if you're under LV130. I think I was LV135.
Preparation: Well, you know. Buy as many healing items as possible, just in case I guess. Best weapons you have too. You auto have Key of Lorelei now, and even though it's not the ultimate weapon for Luke, it's still good and allows you to do his second Mystic Arte under certain circumstances. Tear heals as always, Jade Arte spams, etc. Nothing new with the setup.
Strategy: I'll discuss the first two fights strategy, which is all basically in part 1. The next fight is in the next part. Okay so Van has nearly all the same moves. He's just more powerful. Avoid his attacks best you can. The AI will get slammed with his attacks a lot, not much you can do about it. Just make sure Tear is alive and constantly healing so you're good. He has a crap ton of HP, but both first and second fight he shares the same HP so second fight starts about half way through his HP. Just avoid his attacks the same way you've done in the past.
That's about it for this video. Do beware of the second fight, near the beginning he seems to always use his second Mystic Arte. It hurts, a lot. It seems to be possible to hit everyone, although somehow it missed Jade at 8:16. So try to make sure everyone is fully healed at the beginning of the second fight. Other than that, the second fight carries out the same as the first.

The Final Boss is (hopefully) deeply connected to the story, and as a result if all they said was "Die" and attack, most players would feel cheated out of a potentially good villain.

I was dead for 10 seconds and i was cool and in those ten seconds she kept on healing anise, honestly what i found nicer about natalia is that with her revive is that it activates right after you die.

I beat Van three months ago with Luke at LV 72, and everyone else around LV 68-70

7:12-Lol, is Jade and Luke there just because you're using them? Tear's awesome, but just kill Lorelei inside Van and get over it.

8:25-Tear backflip XP She was nearly out of the range.
That didn't look too powerful.
From that point on, Guy seemed to develop an affinty for Van's back.
So much talk for final bosses in every game. Every boss is like, "There it is! Get him!"
And the final Boss is like 5 minutes of talk.

The thing is the character is named Luke. And the line is "Join me Luke".
And Largo used the Fon Slot Seal on Jade not Natalia so I don't know what you're getting at there.

technically van is lukes father. they even talk about it in the game. so i guess namco pulled a star wars thing?
Hmm... I don't see why the creators split this fight into two halves. Still a good fight though.
Also, what will you be doing after ToA? Just more Brawl vids?

The best place to grind early on is the area outside of the Tower of Rem.
Normally you can just time it right and hope your Guardian saves you but you can run to the right side of the field but I can't be sure to completely dodge it
@sakuzenshi Probably know by now, but fight 256 (I think) battles on hard mode or above
If he expected Asch, why did he sent Oracle Knights to the room where Luke and Asch were? :3
Or maybe he knew that they'd fall in the trap and have to fight to see who would win, as you did before, but he expected Asch to win.

Yes, but still. If I were the final boss of a game, I'd shoot the guy down while he was in the middle of his speech. "Stop talking already!!! My head hurts."
Is there a way to make team not an idiot in the game i mean really all she did in my game is keep using pow hammer. we even tried to make her just use heals and that didnt work

For some reason it wouldn't let tear do her grand fonic hymn I had to do it over 3 times was hella worth it the ending was amazing
Usually to beat it, I'd use Natalia, Luke, Guy, and Tear. Or Natalia and any other 3 characters. Always Natalia and Tear in though. :D
I had to see this cut scene at least 10 times before I finally won the battle....

I beat his second form with only 1 health luke when he still had 60000 heath left because I failed and only brought 2 life bottels and I dodged judgement 3 times then I kicked his ass
