Compared to Dusttale sans I like how Dustshift actually makes Chara struggle with killing monsters. Having a hard time actually going through with the act. Yeah, Sans technically struggled too but you only really see one instance of him genuinely struggling to go through with killing someone that being Toriel. Here you get to see how Chara feels when doing it. They hate it it's hard for them to genuinely kill someone. Even asking the player how they do it so effortlessly. And they don't even want to kill the player they just want them to stop.
Chara seems more human regretting what she will and has done, chara is apart of the human species and has been raised by monsters o of course she would She even begs you to stop

What if it is Chara's drawing style of the ruins, no? Maybe it would make sense considering she is a little more human than monster so maybe she would have regular child instincts and maybe draw. As for the other stuff, maybe this was some early access or they will updated, sorry for yapping.
I thought Chara's sprite was neat but the background could use some work (don't really care about it) and there really aren't that many bugs or bugs that effects the gameplay alot
