I feel like this is a good overworld theme. It feels like it's speaking to me. Telling me it's story. (No, it's not an overstatement. It's really how I feel.)
Its really funny how just making a song 8-bit makes it perfect for an overworld theme, while the normal version fits for a boss battle, possibly the final boss.
@@ninetails8471 Not only was this the final boss theme, but it was the last phase of it where you get supercharged and just _wreck_ him. The song is a medley of most of the game's themes, and it comes out like a folk ballad to Amaterasu. It's fucking glorious.
This 8-bit remix reminds me personally of the Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, especially at: 1:17. Feels a lot like the dungeon music and Wind Fish's ballad from that game.
@@emishimaru-sama6449 You know, in case you haven't played Okami on PS2, IMHO it's the best non-Zelda action RPG that does justice to the style without being a ripoff, outside of the Nintendo ecosystem. I loved it back in the day and am replaying its HD version now, and it remains just as gorgeous and enjoyable as it was. ❤

Damn, this is way more than just a cut & paste job, like some of the other "8-bit remakes" on RUclips. Someone actually put in the effort to truly translate the theme to 8-bit.

It's easy to make it your ringtone or something like that on your mobile. copy the link of the song and convert it on an online url converter what you can find on google like flv2mp3 (you have to be sure that your mobile can play mp3 or something like that) the download the converted url connect your moblie with your pc and copy the downloaded file to your mobile ^^

@jjnnerazor The lightning head isn't stupid. The lightning head is directly behind the fire head, which is the head that is always in front. Because of this, the lightning head usually doesn't see whats going on which makes him appear stupid and clueless.
My question is-is that screenshot from a real game, or is it just some random picture somebody made to go with the music? I'd love to play an 8-bit Okami game, especially if that's where this music is from, because it's really good ;)
Some reason, it reminds me a little bit of, Xena, Pokemon, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, K-k....Klonoa...or Konoa..something...I forgot that.. XP but it's soo sounds likea Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, and NES mixed together to get this masterpiece :D
@brewill23 Yes, it was "announced" last year. It's called Okamiden for the DS. The main character is Amaterasu's son (at least I think it's a guy, that's what I read though). His name is Chibiterasu since he's still a pup. It has trademarks in Japan, Europe, and North America. So it's probably going to be released everywhere. Be stupid if it was just in Japan since Okami sold better outside it by far, the Wii version was years late in Japan as well.

What beautiful music track, in 8-bit just sounds much more like a classic game. Well considering that Okami is a Classic.
Layering this with the normal version is simply EPIC.
The writing is so strong, its power still comes across in this form. Amazing.
