Thanks so much for the beanie video. I wanted to clarify that after Row 6, the DC are done for every row for 9 rows making the beanie 15 rows total (not including the FINISH row. Thanks
I don't know how you haven't reached a million views with this one ...I love it!! Your personality is so soothing..your my best friend in my mind lol!!!!
@@immia8016 that may work, try it out as I only did mine for an average head. I would think one additional round of increase would work and maybe 2 extra chains. The mannequins heads are usually smaller than a human head.
Is it good to have a measuring tape to have a somewhat accurate measurement? I just started crocheting about a month ago and I really enjoy it and I like asking questions so I could get better at my task and finally make my own pattern for. The only way to learn is to ask questions and there are a lot of people that don’t like to respond but I thank you for responding and helping me out with this project.💞💞
so the first stitch in the 2nd row doesnt count as a DC when doing the 24 chains around ? Because based on how i understood it.. technically there will be 25 DC including the 1st chain 2
Good morning I understand your pattern but I’m a woman with a bald head so how many times instead of doing the additional nine so my hat will be fitted
@@GGTheCrochetQueen thank you so much I really enjoyed working your tutorial with you and I will try that and I’ll let you know how it comes out you have a great Sunday afternoon💞💞💞
Good morning/evening I have been doing your beanies using up my scrap yard I intend to ship them to a lady in Alabama that helps the homeless people she’s going to give them out still have a lot more to do

Thank you so much Gloria! This is by far the easiest basic beanie to make. Perfect instructions too.

Yes, correct, thanks for watching. I had a few oops in this video 😆
Correction it's a total of 15 rounds including the last round of reverse SC. But if you need to add rounds that's ok. Make it your own!
@@GGTheCrochetQueen I think you did a great job. You’re a pro. Thanks again
@@kaysmith9815 thank you Soooooo much!

Thank you so much! I made two. I have to learn how to make them for smaller heads now.
You are welcome, if you know the head circumference then you'll be able to size. Google head circumference for guidance. Thanks for watching!

You are so welcome!
Thanks! This is just what I was looking for!
Beautiful tutorial ❤
I used the same weight, yarn, and size hook as you, but mine will only fit a six year old child. It’s so small. I must crochet really tight.
Yes you must crochet really tight.
Happy new year to you g g god bless
Happy new year
Made this so I could do your ski mask beanie and it came out so cute! I love this so simple I’m subbing!🩷🩷
Awesome! Thanks for watching and subbing!!
@@GGTheCrochetQueen also if I want to make the ski bigger do I add more rounds and then when doing the eye part add extra chains or the same length?
@@immia8016 that may work, try it out as I only did mine for an average head. I would think one additional round of increase would work and maybe 2 extra chains. The mannequins heads are usually smaller than a human head.
@@GGTheCrochetQueen thank you! I look forward to trying out some of your other patterns 😁🧶
Did you do the full 9 rounds after the increase or did you do a total of 12 rounds and then do the ski mask part?
Cute 😊
To add rounds you just increase the amount of single double crochet in between the two double crochet?
If you want to add rounds just do rounds of double crochet. If you add extra double crochets it will make it wider and more slouchy.
@@GGTheCrochetQueen oh ok thank you❤️
Thank you❤
Thank u!

Yes easy 🥰

@@GGTheCrochetQueen you're welcome I'm working on a one now
Hi, GG, really good crochet work.
Thank you!
Thank you
Hello, so rounds 5 - 14 should have 60 (+1) dc’s? For some reason mine keeps increasing by 1 each round.
No the chain 2 does not count. Since this video I've started using the chain 2 as a stitch. Thanks for watching.

You can count it or not. I do not count it.

Maybe 7. I would suggest you experiment to get the right fit. Thanks for watching!

So sweet of you
Beginning: Is it a total of 12 with the starting chain? Or 13 which includes the starting chain?
i did 12
It is 12
The ch 2 does not count as a stitch
Great! This is my third one. I’m not sure why I suddenly got concerned this time. 😵💫
What if my hook is smaller does it still work?😭
@@beancecrespo8861 you will need to add another round or more to get the circumference and add more rounds to get the length. Thanks for watching.
