    Thanks so much for the beanie video. I wanted to clarify that after Row 6, the DC are done for every row for 9 rows making the beanie 15 rows total (not including the FINISH row. Thanks

      Correction it's a total of 15 rounds including the last round of reverse SC. But if you need to add rounds that's ok. Make it your own!

      @@immia8016 that may work, try it out as I only did mine for an average head. I would think one additional round of increase would work and maybe 2 extra chains. The mannequins heads are usually smaller than a human head.

    To add rounds you just increase the amount of single double crochet in between the two double crochet?

    • @GGTheCrochetQueen
      @GGTheCrochetQueen  Год назад +1

      If you want to add rounds just do rounds of double crochet. If you add extra double crochets it will make it wider and more slouchy.

      No the chain 2 does not count. Since this video I've started using the chain 2 as a stitch. Thanks for watching.

    Is it good to have a measuring tape to have a somewhat accurate measurement? I just started crocheting about a month ago and I really enjoy it and I like asking questions so I could get better at my task and finally make my own pattern for. The only way to learn is to ask questions and there are a lot of people that don’t like to respond but I thank you for responding and helping me out with this project.💞💞

  • @andreenrichardson4370
    @andreenrichardson4370 Год назад

    so the first stitch in the 2nd row doesnt count as a DC when doing the 24 chains around ? Because based on how i understood it.. technically there will be 25 DC including the 1st chain 2
