Painting Audi R8 1016 Carbon Fiber Hood - PPG Paints

Painting a New Custom Hood on this Audi R8. How to get that super Glossy Mirror Finish and Perfect clean lines on masked carbon. How I spray and my results, I used Sagola 4600 extreme for my base coat/ Clear coat and it sprayed absolutely Perfect, Highly Recommend!

😂 for sure! Definitely a bit used and abused! But i keep it clean on the inside and it sprays great, nice even spray pattern and fan (thats the most important) …i gave up on cleaning the outside of it 😅

Great video, is this iawata your favorite gun for clearcoat? Have you tried the series 2 iawata , sata 5500 cc,dvi c1? I would like to get your thoughts. Thanks.

This iwata is my favorite, i have sagola 4600..:its great but I love my iwata more, i know the fluid level and how it sprays and I have more control of how I lay my clearcoat down.

Did you have to blend any fenders im looking to get mine painted aswel but without blending fenders because the car has a full front clip

We always do correct color match to avoid blending when installing 1016 hood and/or fenders. I would try to avoid blending to keep the original paint especially since it has ppf
