Absolute nightmare , these small car companys are a pain in the arse ie Aston Martin , TVR and Jaguar i've had so grief with colour matching . I just blend the best i can and most people are colour blind lol . Its amazing the amount off customers i shiow the difference in colour on their cars can't see it , our eyes as painters tune straight into it . Great work Andrey

@@LncPainter wee trivia question for you - do you know what PPG stands for? Not 100% sure about the first letter, but I think it stands for Pennsylvania Plate Glass company. Actually a grade A paint. Did you ever use Spies Hecker?

Lovely work, great job on the colour matching I feel your pain with doing all the spray outs, spectros struggle with 3 stage so it’s a hard job to match especially when you have no code or formula to work with

Hey Andrey, I could tell this one stressed you a little, but you did a perfect job as usual, the best painter by far on RUclips. Can I ask a question, I’m old school, taught to spray using cellulose (yes, that old…), we would spray primer, wait for it to dry, knock it back, smooth the edges and paint over it. The clear base coat blender you spray, how does it work, does it smooth the overspray where you blow in the primer, I think I’ve seen you use it on a local or as they say now, smart repair and you sprayed it over base coat I presume to blend in the edges? Thank you, a bit stressful and time consuming for sure! The clear base coat blender sort of preps the panel for paint, smooths everything out and make it easier for the paint to blend into. Base coat blender is used during basecoat, and then there is a clearcoat blender when you are doing spot repairs and blend in the new clear into the existing! 😄👍🏻

What is the paint code for the Ventura orange please having a nightmare trying to find a match thanks
Mclaren doesn’t give color codes, you have to mix your own paint pretty much. Take a color match photo with a camera and then tint the best match

Have you tried with a car color detector ?
Yes, the color it came up with was a Kawasaki Solar Yellow 926797..:it wasnt even close to blend-able but it was an orange tribcoat with the pearl actually matching…so Made it easier cuz i only had to tint with the solid base and 3 toners 🙌🏻😄
Why do you call a side skirt a rocker molding ? 🤨
Eh idk, i guess its body shop terminology. In our estimating system we have the rocker panel diagram (metal structural piece) and Exterior plastic pieces are called rocker moldings 😄👍🏻
