You are a natural, Chris. I don't know what you do at your company but you would definitely be a success in front of the camera as on air talent. Really enjoyed the local tour. Thank you.
Matt Tester , since Texas has so much room, it is only necessary to put utilities ubderground in skyscraper districts. General rule of thumb is that if electricity and communication cabling is run on poles, the buildings don’t have basements. The soil is unstable in the DFW area which makes building basements problamatic. Skyscrapers require digging big holes and pouring lots of concrete to provide a foundation strong enough for the tall buildings. Then you can have basements and underground utilities.
Underground is much much more costly to install so where I live city of 300000 they only do it in areas of new construction where they are digging trenches for water sewer and gas lines anyway. We had water, sewer and gas lites for many years before electricity came in. Also phone lines, cable tv and internet lines use the same poles as electric. In really high density areas they are underground because they upgraded other underground utilities and there is no where to put power poles.
Do you live in Europe? I live on the west coast of the USA. Europe has a lot of people who live in cities. In other words, a high population density. So there are lots of people in a small area. It would make sense to bury the power lines. The USA is quite large, and we are more spead out. Fewer rate payers in a given area. Burying the electric cables would cost a fortune, and would take a vast construction project over many years. We have vast conifer forests on the west coast. They grow straight and tall. One just needs to remove the branches, put them in a preservative solution. Then the power company just drills a hole with a truck mounted drill, and lower the former tree trunk. The new power pole will last 50 years or more. Our electricity rates are usually quite reasonable. Keep in mind that the USA had a much smaller population when electrification happened over 100 years ago. We are used to our power poles and overhead wires. They work well enough for our needs.

Finaly i know where all this people go all this time thank you sir for explaining
That explains a lot about the area. Can see why people get their cars towed.
Holy cow! More info and questions answered than in all your previous videos combined! We now know what city you're in, what your business is, all the businesses around you, and everything! All this info was carefully concealed up until this moment. I can now die at peace knowing all of this. Thanks!!!
Chris, you always construct well done videos. This one included. Interesting info, well placed shots, good use of your visual time. I had always wondered what was going on that attracted parkers. Thanks for the tour, especially since I'll never make it to your neck of the woods.
I was waiting for the Chief, Cop, Biker and Cowboy to show up for a musical number.
They were working out at the....
@@revbryon701 lmao! That song is now stuck in my head lol
That's hilarious. Part of the joy of GTOger's videos is reading the comments and appreciating some of "taking it to the next level" of amazing.
Great video, maybe bedtime showing tow truck lot? So we know where the cars go to.
I'll piggy back and request you do a ride along so we see the route of shame from your business to the impound lot.
Add my vote!
Next time I’m going back to Dallas I’ll visit Deep Ellum.
Me too
Thanks for the tour, Chris. I have not been around for quite a while, but, if it is OK with you, I want to stick around to watch all your new videos. I thoroughly enjot watching "nervy" people get jacked and towed away. ESPECIALLY since you have all those warning signs on display to give them a more than decent heads-up !! Have a great day, Young Man.
After seeing your neighborhood venues; we now can see why your parking lot is sooo popular. And for the towing companies; a gold mine. Thanks for the tour.
That was very informative thanks for sharing it
I love seeing the neighborhood
Enjoyed your neighbourhood tour. Now we know !
I love your work, I hope you get as much pleasure out of it as I do,
I love watching this channel because of the sound effects and comments of the channel owner. It always makes me laugh. Keep up the great videos.
Hi Chris, greetings from England. Just wanna tell ya that my 6 year old Grandson also calls them sammiches., so, you are not alone, thanks a lot for the guided tour, your local area looks real swell, keep smiling, hope to see the tow trucks again on your channel real soon.
Like that neighborhood tour. Good Weekend and Thanks. Stefan
I wondered why it was so busy in your neighborhood. Thanks.
"I got lots to show you today". I see what you did there :D
That was fun! Thanks for the neighborhood tour, Chris. I especially liked you including the history of older buildings and even some photos. The two employees who live in the old Ford/hat building have an easy commute. On the downside, they don't have a 'tied-up in traffic' excuse when an emergency occurs. LOL
Awesome tour of the neighborhood and the comments you put on screen on your other videos are so spot on and funny.
