A little late seeing this, but this was a great video! Watching your willingness to learn, get better & not give up was inspirational. Some tips of course would start with getting our 4.0 Car Pack. These have all been updated & slightly tuned to be a bit more friendly out of the box. From there, I'd say throttle commitment & smoothness, paired with the correct wheel speed for the course, is the main key to success. The more you can stay committed to the throttle, the more balanced everything will be. The more on/off throttle you are, the more the rear will load and unload, which in turn, really upsets the front as well. Also, just a small note with tuning based on the video, is watch out for changes effecting others. For example, when you took all the toe out of the rear, this also added more positive rear camber, which took even more grip out than you maybe wanted. Hope this helps! Keep it up! - Craig
Tip for this track is pull 4th until clip 5, then downshift to 3rd or 2nd depending on Gearing and then quickly pull the ebrake twice to set yourself up for the last zone, then clutch kick out of it. Then use your left mirror to see where your back end is. (If the mirror is slightly behind the yellow line your rear tires in most cars are in the white line)
Nice job man, its so difficult to nail those cars. Takes great driving and tuning skills. It really makes sense that people get paid huge amounts of money to tune suspension. Makes a car go from grippy and scary to grippy and boat like. When the rebound damping is right, it really makes snap oversteer go away. Spring rate and sway bars all work together to makes this effect less. That's why it's hard to tune cars. You mess with one thing it effects everything else. Looks like you have the car tunes alright enough. It was mostly your throttle input that was screwing you over. You could hear you lay into it on the last turn then lift after which takes pressure off rear wheels making it go around. Either left foot braking or easing into it and lifting slower to allow the car to settle would help. Love seeing the progress, you're killing it brother.
With all the VDC ai servers up these days that would be my go to for learning! You learn the line and speed. If you hit the ai no biggie they wont budge. ps. reset to pits will bring you back to start of layout! Awesome vid! Hope to see you get more comfy in the pro cars!
My best advice for warming up with these cars is drive Gravy Garage cars on Ebisu North Course and chase the fastest guy you can find and try to stay with them for like 10 laps. Really helps with commitment and knowing how to deal with understeer. VDC cars are also really dependent on the tune and I’m happy to help you with a tune if you want.
I feel like the most impactful ways to tune a vdc car is antiroll bars and gearing. You can adjust the understeer/oversteer balance by playing with the antiroll bars. I usually like a 1:2 ratio so 15k rear and 30k front for example. Gearing dictates whether you can just keep your foot down or modulate the throttle, and depends on the track ofcourse
What I do on that last second is aim my rear tires for the rumble strip before that big outside it sets you up nice and I also downshift to 3rd turn just mash the throttle
Bro, just get yourself the Moza quick release, buy cheap deep dish wheel and feel the difference. Got the wheel you`re using as well, but would highly recommend deep dish wheel on Moza QR.
If u need some moza r9 settings let me know. I’ve been perfecting the settings for over a year now. Have over a thousand hours on asseto. Most of the reason why the vdc are tuff is because the wheel settings may be off and not smooth
This the 3.0 pack? The newer 4.0 car pack feel a lot better out of the box. It was just released a week ago. edit: Seen the end and yea they are better and easier to drive with the base tune.

throttle commitment is a massive thing and on top of that is timing on transitions and when to be on throttle for each zone
Big fan of VDC Cars!! The best
The head to the wheel is real.
VDC cars was for sure the hardest for me to get down but man are they fun when you get the hang of em. Great video love the channel

if you have good setup you can stay in 4th gear the whole time with most cars. for pretty much all tracks, gearbox Speed between 230-250kph
@@R3RS2024 how u going 150mph
probably my favorite vid from you, nice work
Thank you, definitely took the longest too 😂
I just started to learn how to drift, I do get discouraged but, seeing you do this, inspires me to learn and keep practicing! Great content!
you are extremely underrated, you will be a master with VDC soon!
that final run was a banger! keep learning and driving, love the videos!!❤

Been watching your videos for a while now. Wish I could hop in a practice session with you and learn some stuff. Keep it up. You inspire others.

Little tips for VDC : set your camera to the roof, it helps A LOT

The frustration you got is what makes you learn
Dope content! Definitely earned a new sub! I run the same setup with the Oculus and its endless fun
Hilariously I was feeling the aggravation 😂😂 the win was satisfying too I have not been able to link that track
What I do on that last second is aim my rear tires for the rumble strip before that big outside it sets you up nice and I also downshift to 3rd turn just mash the throttle
that tight turn is why those cars are so grippy, gotta tune completely different if you want a competitive vdc car
Autopolis is my all time favorite track. It absolutely love it.
Great video man.Thanks for sharing.
nice video, more vdc vids like this,i started them today and is not easy D: :D
I love this track. It's my primary practice track.
A good tune helps massively with these cars, I use ones from a guy named HyneZ as a base to work from and it helped massively
Dude isn't popular, but he is very professional
Great video, if you ever wanna hop on a server for tandems in VDC or street cars, let me know.

Left foot braking helps alot
HynesZ tuning guid trivialized these cars for me

on the last turn use left foot brake, not to much not to little but it should set you up better for that turn without to much speed.
a track you should try that may be easier bbut still challenging is vdc bikernirki map
You need to learn to leftfoot brake man, even me playing with keyboard use it a lot, dont only use one pedal, you got it💪
Are you using the same drift settings in pithouse from your r9 drift settings video for the vdc cars?
Yeah I never changed them
this was me today
you need to try VDC mondelo
VDC cars are so hard to control
Great video join project X if want the best vdc tunes.
This the 3.0 pack? The newer 4.0 car pack feel a lot better out of the box. It was just released a week ago.
edit: Seen the end and yea they are better and easier to drive with the base tune.
Get a bigger steering wheel for better micro corrections
real asf vdc whooped my ass. great vid man
How exactly though, 2 hours of what. Its not like anyone was chasing you or a ghost was haunting you to go off the track or into the wall.
vdc cars are really easy, they don't have much grip and are not difficult to drive in my opinion dcgp X cars are more difficult
That's just backwards
@@toddthezondalover645 alll backwards lol
Lewis Kevin Martin Matthew Perez Anthony
you need some tunes ?
try vdc v4
Gay Expressway
The Standart setting is so bullshitt
