thanks i havent found a lot of good touge maps

sadly its horribly unoptimised for wheels. theres a giant limp zone of about 45* in the center and only once you turn the wheel a LOT does any force happen and its only centering spring type forces. even with rotation set to 270 (ugh...) no clutch. no in car view, both outside views are earthquake simulators. second half of the game is basically finished its being held hostage by hondas licensing. dont let them fool you. i saw interviews where the devs said the game is fully done theyre just waiting on car licenses.

What wheel are you using

I only drift irl and mostly on snow or wet pavement. Dry pavement tried on high speed entry, on car with 90+hp, I have angle kit, welded diff and hydraulic handbrake. Got experience with manji on 100 km/h on snow. Tried today Assetto at local carting place. Felt like I never drifted in my life 😢

So I can not drive any of the stock drift cars in BeamNG BUT I can drift other cars most notably the Bruckell Bastion Rally car. Why i have no idea but between that and learning to mod some other "starter" cars into drift cars with changes in the rear differential, tire compounds, and other bits and bobs... i am sure you will pick it up long before me. Honestly, I know it is probably frustrating a bit for you as a content creator but I love watching you learn and play and get better. It helps keep me going to learn and play and get better, so no worries! We all are enjoying your process, too.

I wouldnt suggest 4k with a 3070 for a brand new game. Maybe you could use upscaling to help but then theres recording gameplay. Imo, you need 12gbs of vram to game at 1440 comfortably. Id suggest a high preset, and turn down any options you dont find necessary like grass and shadows and just test and tune

S2000 should be most interesting and fun car from the game right now, at least to my taste. I haven't got it, just watching videos. I have to say it does look a little arcadey, probably still nice sim, but into arcadey direction from AC. Might be wrong, just an impression. Car doesn't look raw, I don't see any savagery they should have when on the limits, the limits looks boring to me, I could write a long text about it. You might be right that this game is set to please everyone, which also means that it is set to make eveyone equally unhappy. Might be good business choice for them, who knows. P.S. I hate how everybody is just quackign FFB and FFB, nobody talks physics, yall simple minded. Talk about physics, look at how real cars behave, then talk about your feelings. PSPS speaking of first impression, indeed a tricky thing, never trust them, besides that any laggy performance, even laggy mind when you are tired degrades perception of car handling on the limit, so people has to take that into account. However arcadey physics will probably be less affected by that, as there is reduced sharpness to it. I can tell it is reduced by how people are always late to unwind steering returning from oversteers, and car isn't getting nervous....

A lot of people seem to be having trouble reading the EARLY ACCESS part, acting like it a full release game…

Arcade.. Come one man, the suspension are lightyears ahead of AC. The physics are amazing, the ffb could be imrpvoed tho

Thanks for the video man, thought i was the only one with this experience. I run a MOZA R9 setup and also have the same issues. The car and driving feel is not very realistic and nowhere near the original AC. Also I know its just an early release but the graphics seem a bit underwhelming, the contrast seems off.

because Assetto Corsa has always been an arcade game. Yiu should try GT7 is you want a decent sim

turn speed sensitivity in your in game steering axis setting to ZERO then go from there. also dampening can go... i was able to recreate the strong FFB from AC 2014 this way. hopefully this helps!

You just got to tweak a few settings, my pc is worse than yours and its running good at 1440p

Issue i am having with the r12 is the steering feels super vague, no idea what the front tires and suspension are doing, and can't feel the tire limit.

Oh gosh.. I hope they have taken notice of the mods on assetto and realise how popular the street drifting is and implement it well.. but I have a feeling they wont get close to the infinite possibilities we already have with mods, been practicing racing though aswell to prepare a little, especially when I primarily only drift on sim games, so driving sensibly and in a straight line without yanking the e break every corner is gonna be a bit of a challenge for me 😂 love your vids man, the most underrated sim youtuber fr.

Well i'm concerned not so much over the game or the mods feature which i think will eventually be like the original.. but i am VERY concerned about the state of online play....because the original AC online racing i'm sorry but it's being ruined by imho spamming the servers with SRP open road and practice servers.. it's ok having those servers, but when this imho trash dominate whats available, i'm not interested. Know why i got into sim racing many many years ago?, because of the adrenelin rush of competive racing regardless of whether that was agains the AI or humans....and this is what the new sim needs to focus on.... This to me means varied racing rotationg tracks on servers, Mixed weather racing Ie in online play, longer racing, to actually use pitstop feature.....if this sim turns into another FH then i don't want to know period,,,, I installed SRP and was totlly bored and totally underwhelmed in no time at alll...this cannot be allowwed to happen to ACE, else it's going to be a disaster imho.... the evaluation system used in ACC is a good idea though, as i have noticed that racing is much fairer even if not perfect in ACCC compareed to the other sims i have played...so this works.. SRP= borefest period Cheers

Jeez theres no satisfying some, a game comes out requiring a NASA super computer and ppl whinge - a game comes out that is possibly optimised so well that it'll allow us peasants with lower end piston and steam driven systems to play and you whinge - whats with that!
