  • The future World Champion Bobby Fischer sacrifices a pawn on move 6 to grab the initiative. He plays extremely energetically and with every move activates his pieces in a very creative way. As a result, all his pieces attack the enemy weaknesses and his opponent's position collapses under the tremendous pressure.

    Your selection of games is always impeccable and instructive. It has value both at the tactical and the strategic level. In this game Fisher's astute maneuverings to attack a single pawn four times, eventually won him the game.
