This is how the American dream was originally envisioned. Not piggybacking of an inheritance with the proverbial silver spoon in the mouth. Rock on JT. Good on you using your natural talents and acquired skills=achieving what you're working for. My mom is my superhero too.
@@LukasP143 Self-made is a loaded term. The study you're referring to is about inheritance, it doesn't factor in their upbringing and the fact that many of those people come from affluent parents, get sent to good schools, and build their wealth from there. Its hard to compare those people to those like JT who grew up in poverty. Whos to say what really constitutes self-made when some are given all the resources to succeed and others not.
Finals MVP doesn’t mean squat. Winning championships is most important. We saw what sacrifices you made to get a ring. We know you could score 30 every night, but you sacrifice to get everyone involved. Don’t sweat it. The press just likes to see you uncomfortable. When you talk about the team and not yourself, you don’t give them any fuel. As long as you still keep the team no. 1, you are the best basketball player in the world right now.
JT you were the #1 pick. It's just that Danny Ainge, Mike Zarren, and the Celtics' FO are diabolical geniuses who were able to get the best player while tricking Philly out of another pick
Another thing everyone in Boston loves about him. He’s rich af and still acts normal. He’s not Hollywood and you don’t see him in clubs and with female rappers/strippers 😂. He got a classy girl. Boston wouldn’t be too happy if he was all over tmz. We are a blue collared city. Play ball!! You get paid millions! 😂
Very humble and giving person! JT keep going! My granddaughter is only 4 and will love to play with JT love him so much she is the biggest Boston Celtics fan. 🍀🍀
Yeah and it still took a lot of hard work and discipline to get to where he’s at. Not every pro ball player has that work ethic to put themselves in better positions of success
You try playing for Boston and have ridiculous expectations to win from day one and constantly being compared to previous dynasties within the franchise and let's see if you can even come close to reaching the conference finals every single year. Doubt.
I'm so grateful I got to see a championship team play last season. We bleed green up here in Maine!!
Same here in Connecticut
Same here in San Diego (grew up in New Hampshire)!
Same here! I went to one of our only losses in thr playoffs but it’s all good, still was awesome seeing the Celtics in person!
@@BulletAgario I saw them beat the Suns back in March. So much fun.
Nothing better than the New England region.
Love JT. Successful. Great role model. Not ever controversial. Just plays ball. Couldn't ask for a better face for the team. Boston is so blessed. 💚
Not sure how this dude isn't universally considered the face of the NBA. Not a Celtics fan but this is the obvious pick.

90% of millionaires are self made…

Love Tatum as Celtics fan the man has done it right. I’d have no issue my daughter or son having his Jersey or poster on the wall.
