Perez's portrayal of heracles. In wonder woman #1 was really accurate to the mythology books. Most people don't realize that hercules was hardly a nice guy.
Yeah I always noticed that about his original designs.
Im getting my 1st OMNIBUS...Doom Patrol Bronze Age 1 in 10 days...super excited. There is a HUGE Omnibus community I never realised. I too love this Wonder Woman. As a child I recall having a day of school in Auckland New Zealand and was in the city with my MUM and she gave me some money, while we were eating lunch and I ran into this comic shop and bought WW Perez #1 and Doom Patrol (Lightle) #1...Happy Memories...especially since I lost my Mum last year...I might have to get this WW Omnibus set.
This run introduced my favorite cheetah Barbara Minerva as well as Julia Kapetaelis who I loved as a character!
I really hope one day we get a reintroduction of some of the characters that Perez introduced.
Have all 3, enjoyed them all. Will get the upcoming Phil Jimenez WW Omnibus, and also the Azzarello & Chang WW Omnibus
I am all over the Jimenez Omnibus.... I wish they would do a Mesner-Loebs omni.

You were dead on about the dialogue in vol 1omg but it was worth it and didn’t have to reread thanks to Perez’s gorgeous art!
It took longer to get through volume one than the other two volumes combined.

It’s uncanny (pun intended) to see how different your videos were back then
I picked up the first volume and so far it's really good. Is it just me or were the single issues a bit longer back then? I noticed that the first issue was taking a bit to finish up. lol I now see about the number of panels on each page compared to now. Amazing he could fit all those words in such small panels and word bubbles.
They were a little longer back then, it was the format the comic came out in.

Nice to see a flip through of all three volumes. I have the first one and while the art is great, most of the stories start out great but end on a very anti-climatic note. I don't have volumes 2 and 3 but I have the Wonder Woman: War of the Gods trade paperback which collects the end of Perez's Wonder Woman run.
I feel like his art was strongest at the beginning. And the same about the stories too. War of the Gods, collected in the third omni ended on a high note.

Is Volume 3 worth trying to track down? I have been able to find vol 1 and 2 for good prices below retail, but 3 seems to be way OOP.

Hi Omar, i'd like to understand what's the difference between this omnibus by Georges Perez et the last volume ( war of the god vol 3 by Georges Perez ) which was recently published...I'm not sure to understand if it's juste a re-printing or if there are simply 2 X 3 omnibus for wonder woman...which...sounds amazing...but then why not simply going from 1 to 6 ?
War of the Gods collects everything...all the tie ins. I myself stuck with this omnibus as it contains the WW issues and the mini. That's really all I need as the tie ins aren't really important.

I liked the sound the pages make when you are flipping through them. It was soothing. What stories or issues did you think were the stand outs for these omnibuses?
They are rather soothing. I would say the first omnibus for sure. The suicide issue in volume 2 and War of the Gods are the biggest highlights for me.
DC should have been modeling the WW movie series after the Perez and Rucka runs. They just made the First Avenger movie but in WW1 instead 😔 This is what Wonder Woman should be like.
I think this is what 1984 will be.
Near Mint Condition Hopefully. Same with future Superman movies being modeled after the John Byrne or 90s TAS versions

Thank you so much Phillip. I will go on record and say that the JSA stories by Johns are my favorite thing he has written. The beginning with Robinson were solid too. I fell in love with the JSA. It's up there with Claremont's X-men and Wolfman's New Teen Titans.

@Near Mint Condition, There's a purple one isn't it and that's also an omnibus so shouldn't there be 4 instead of 3. It came out in May 23,2017.
This is just the George Perez omnibus. The other omnis that have been released are Golden and Silver Age omnis.
Would wonder woman #50 be a good issue to test the series out and see if I like it? Just got it as a single issue for cheap

Sadly I don't own that series. As much as I love Neal Adams and Batman, my DC didn't start until Crisis on Infinite Earths.
@Scott Krimer I really love Adams art and I've seen the omni around. I may pick it up if I see it again for less than cover.

Near Mint Condition what do you think of marvel's new x men story starting in august extermination which will finally resolve the crappy story of the x men blue team
