The funny thing is if you take the grains, processed food and sugar out. The red meat does have the same effect and is actually not the problem according to many drs. Like Dr Berry, dr Andrew Chaffee, dr Robert Lustig, dr David perlmutter and others.
That's bc there is no evidence that red meat causes these issues. "Science " and some studies always link red meat with "fast food" McDonald's or Burger King and highly processed foods. Never red meat alone.
This is why I only eat fish and eggs mostly for protein... Broccoli and leafy greens and veggies also.. with blueberries and blackberries, guava ...All fish steamed or baked only. No fried stuff. Drink gynostemma tea and keep weight down
Hands down the prettiest doctor ever and intelligent
So that guy who had his colon cut out and has a bag there says meat come out totally broken down and absorbed where vegetables are not broken down. He said being a vegetarian created his colon issue.
I think I saw that video. He's completely carnivore _because_ everything is digested before it hits his bag.
I know this is an old video but my question is why don’t you study people in groups of their diet people who only eat meat what Are there odds people who only eat vegetables what are their odds...If you study people who eat junk food and meat you can’t say the people who eat meat have a higher risk because it could possibly be the junk food and sugar which raises the insulin which you stated is a cause
It’s not that a diet high in meat is bad, but a diet high in meat and no fiber is pretty damaging to the colon. That’s also the standard American/UK diet.
Grass fed red meat I don’t think applies because of it’s high levels of omega 3. If you eat whatever red meat it is usually high in omega 6 which can increase inflammation. They forgot remove all sugar and eat a low carbs also. It is also super important to get fiber prebiotics and probiotics.
1. All good points.
2. Broad generalizations are not helpful.
3. And can be deceptive.
4. To support the claim that red meat increases the risk of colon cancer, she should have cited peer-reviewed clinical studies on strict Carnivores.
5. “The Modern Western Diet” is an easy target when you include everything in it.
6. This unforgivably short clip didn’t even include challenging follow-up questions.
7. Such interviews are not for presenting the facts for viewers to consider for themselves.
8. But to tell us what they WANT us to believe.
@@nellosnook4454 Exactly... We followed their advice and have become sicker than ever.

1. Exactly, Troy. 👍
2. Let’s hope that with the expansion of free speech, truth will overcome propaganda.
@@nellosnook4454 Why don't you Google "red meat, cancer" and take a look before you post more BS? Red meat is a Group 2A carcinogen.
I agree although one point you made is a fallacy. Even grain fed red meat with higher levels of omega 6 fatty acids still will not be oxidized. So the main problem is oxidized omega 6 fatty acids (linoleic acid). Now to high of non oxidized omega 6 fatty acids can be damaging to the mitochondria, BUT even grain fed red meat doesnt have enough.
I still however advocate HEAVILY for grass fed and finished red meat, as it has literally 70,000+ compounds that we have no idea what they do. And you're essentially consuming athletic, high quality meat, rather than sick, out of shape animals.
An association was mentioned between higher carbohydrate intake and a higher risk of colon cancer with the idea being that it raises insulin levels. However, there was no distinguishing between refined and complex carbs (wholegrains and vegetables). Stay away from white bread! Wholegrain is fine.
All carbs are TOXIC ! The dose makes the poison.
Why egg and beef hurt below area? As its not processed food
Lack of fiber. It’s actually pretty great for you if you have fiber to supplement it and “clean” your gut.
Thanks for putting this out there to help others.
More dietary propaganda and myths!
Everyone I know who got colon cancer didn't survive...confirming shorter survival rate stated in the video.
Damn she named everything i eat, im fucked. I love steak 😔
as long as it be naturally occurring (like grass fed beef or lamb chops); they have CLA that actually inhibits cancer!!
@@abhijitbaner what about the saturated fat in the 100% grass fed beefs?
@@workmode2073 depending on what part of the meat you eat, saturated fat will vary. I don't get your question honestly; if your basal insulin is low, your chance of getting arteries clogged is low, your chances of getting any form of cancer is generally lower, irrespective of how much fat / type of fat you eat
@@abhijitbaner is cancer just related to insulin levels and LDL levels?
@@workmode2073 if you remove the word just, there is a positive correlation between higher insulin & occurrences of cancer; it is thought high cholesterol levels inhibit cancer, but the hypothesis has not been proven. Also, correlation is NOT causation
Meeting Dr Ogoh on RUclips has been one of the Best days of my Life after Years of Surfing I have been finally cured of colon cancer and also help me with the Medication that wash all virus from my system, Thanks doc you deserve more thanks and appreciation 🙏.
Rice is wholegrain right? We asians eat rice everyday
in plain words, eat whole food plant based diet, less processed the better
true to the extent, avoid wfpb that increases your insulin; that is the #1 killer; IGF & insulin hormones have a strong relationship with cancer; there are specific amino acids too in this category
In plain words EAT MEATS which is the only evolutionary appropriate human diet!
I know vegetarians who got colon cancer, anyone can get it.
What I gathered from this was: avoid sugar and subsequent chronic elevated insulin.
And if that doesn’t work then what?
Another mouth criticizing carbs without specifying.
All those foods with fiber, guess what most are predominantly carbs.
Sending the wrong message is worse sending than no message.
Right. Complex carbs vs non complex. Whole grains vs non. One is beneficial, the other harmful
Of course red meat
Big Pharma, Big Food doctor
Total rubbish my wife died of this & was extremely watchful of her diet, there must be some other reason, & perhaps Doctor’s at our surgeries should be far more aware of this killer !!!!
