Love this one! The context behind the song being about how Gwen's fame was ripping the band apart and causing their potential demise remains one of the rawest performances of all time for me. The emotions, both in the delivery of the song and the band's performance (to include Gwen) in the video, are what make this song a beautiful tragedy.
Her begging, wailing for the band not to tell her they want her to leave but taking those same words to taunt them for not communicating with her ("Don't speak") ... kills me in the best way
This song is about her relationship with the bassist of No Doubt, Tony Kanal. Its a break up song.
