What most people do not remember is that this song and most of this album is about Gwen;'s breakup with her boyfriend (Tony Kanal) who is the Indian guy in the background. It was traumatic for her and she wrote their biggest hits about it and he had to stay there and play the background while she sang about it. But they managed to stay good friends and she even wrote a song about how they overcame that "I know we're Good." Also, Gwen Stefani did not use to be the front person for this band. It is a Ska Band and they had a black guy named John Spence who co-founded the group and shared lead vocals with Gwen Stefani. But he died before they broke big and she took over his role. They have a few songs about him as well
Tony told me the original singer said “No doubt” a lot, thus the name of the band No Doubt. In Tony’s own words they were thinking about changing the name, because they thought it was cheesy, but they already paid $50 in stickers, posters, and so forth, so they decided to keep the name. He said $50 was a lot of money back then in high school. I just happened to pick him up and his friend as an Uber driver, and drove him to a DTLA small music venue.
Gwen's 1st Husband was Gavin Rosdale , Lead Singer & Guitarist for the band Bush . When it came to Good Looks , those 2 were both from the deep end of the gene pool 🙂
Gwen wrote this song and many others about her breakup with Tony, the bass player. What’s more punk rock than writing songs with personal, intimate details about a man and then making him perform those songs every night on stage? Very Stevie Nicks of her!
Can you believe she was chubby at 15. There’s a pic she showed getting an autograph from Sting on a motorcycle, when she was 15. She definitely wasn’t the skinny Gwen you see her, but an overweight Gwen Stefani.
What should we react to next from No Doubt?

Pretty amazing they stayed together because if I were the ex I don't know how I'd handle all those songs about me 😅

Haha, totally! Nothing screams punk rock like airing your ex’s dirty laundry and making him relive it every night 😂
Post Modern Jukebox featuring Hallie Reinhart do a great cover of this song in a big band 50's style.
I sub'd just because of Itty bitty XXXXX
Itty Bitty XXXXX FTW!
It was the other way around, he broke her heart, not she broke his heart...
First Maneskin and then No Doubt...it's horny rock...
Horny rock?!
