I just saw Frampton on his retirement tour. We happened to be staying at the same hotel. I was wearing an All Things Must Pass tshirt, someone taps me on the shoulder and in an English accent says 'nice shirt'. I turned around and it was Peter with no entourage just his wife. He asked if I was going to the show, I replied yes. I said I'm not an autograph seeker nor a selfie guy. I just said thank you for all the music. He winked and said he was glad to meet a fan who didn't freak out. He even asked me if I wanted a ride to the venue. I said mr. Frampton you're a gentleman but I'm meeting my dad first to get something from him. He asked if my dad introduced me to his music, I said unfortunately no, he was more of a Motown kind of guy, my dearly deceased mom had a cassette of Frampton comes alive in the car. He gave me a handshake and said thank you. I said I know you're probably in a great deal of pain but I really like you are going around one more time. I have cystic fibrosis and arthritis all over my body. He said we all have something don't we. Winked and smiling gave me a hug. I said have a great show! It will be something I remember with warmth for the rest of my life.

one of the greatest voices ever recorded and I've been thinking that since day one. this show came to Boston and having found out too late I drove to the open air hall and sat outside. heard him do White Room live and then heard Whiter Shade of Pale and Brooker sounded EXACTLY THE SAME. A night for vocals, my friend, worth sitting on the front of my car for.

It's sometimes said that people listen with their eyes, first and Frampton had the pretty boy image in the 70s, which very much distracted from how good his playing actually was. Although he's aging very well the attention goes much more to his playing now. A turning point in that respect was probably when Bowie asked him for his touring band.

Wow this concert was a real ear-opener for me - definitely one of the best of Ringo's all-Star line ups. One of the highlights of this show is the chemistry between bassist Jack Bruce and guitar-slinger Peter Frampton - pure dynamite - they are totally tuned in to each other and the joy they are experiencing is palpable. I've always been a fan of Bruce's playing, but Frampton was, until I witnessed this, one of those guitarists I knew was good, but never listened to him much. However, as others have also commented, he is absolutely on fire in this concert. One of my favorites is Sunshine of Your Love - both Bruce and Frampton turn in amazing solos, but the vibe they exude isn't the typical head-cutting, but one of intense cooperation. Just astounding.

And an incredible hard worker. He's on the highest level of rock performers, right along with folks like...well, like..Paul Rogers. Bad ass company, if you ask me!

I was shocked when a few weeks ago I searched You Tube for a clip of Ringo Starr playing Yellow Submarine live for my son's 27th birthday last month and this entire show popped up as this was the first real rock concert that I ever took my son to .... Besides a couple of local musicians in the park when he was a toddler ... But just after he turned four years old in 1997, I gave him a choice to see U2 at Giants Stadium or Ringo at the PNC Arts Center as they were both playing June 3rd and he chose Ringo as he loved the song Yellow Submarine and knew more Beatles songs than U2 songs ... So we drove South on the GSP for an hour from Westwood NJ and WOW, this show was AMAZING .. to watch it again 23 years later was AWESOME ... Great visuals of all these musicians in their primes ... Seeing this again was a gift from the Universe ...

He and his All Starr Band performed in huge tent set up with folding chairs and it was a great concert. Peter was amazing and was having so much fun fulfilling a dream of playing with Eric Clapton. Plus, doing a beatles song that Eric Clapton actually played lead guitar on the original version. I will never for get the experience. I feel we all have concert memories that will live with us forever.

Omg Sunshine of Your Love ❤️. A masterpiece. I love it. And Frampton is just the best giving the whole show a shot of adrenaline.

Frampton and Bruce played and traded great together. Never crowded each other and fell back at times to let the other shine, but was really outstanding when they did a double guitar riff with Jack's bass. Jack was so damn good.
And Peter is every bit as good as Eric imo.

Really makes one wonder why they didn't do more together. The joy of the two of them playing together is palpable, and I''d like to believe they each raised each other's game. Happy this was preserved for posterity with Jack and Gary having passed and Peter no longer able to perform.

I hear you what I like the most is not very loud you can actually hear each person singing or playing but what I truly truly love besides Ringo of course !! And they aren't grabbing their Johnson and pants with a belt but still their ass is showing and yet they try to hold them up so we don't trip over God my son never was like that my friend though so I asked my son's friend may I ask you a question he said of course so I asked why do you wear a belt and still hold up your pants with your hand so I'm assuming you don't want to trip he laughed you funny then I said well you know some people don't like to see your boxers or tighty whities then he said no way you will never see tighty-whities on me I said well at least we know you're not going commando true story 17 years old so subject was dropped LOL

I was happy to see that Jack Bruce dedicated Theme from an Imaginary Western to Felix Pappalardi who always sang this song for the group Mountain. For those who don't know, Felix was murdered by his wife in 1983 and somehow his wife received less than a year in jail for the murder.

Wow what a line up. Gary Brooker had one of the greatest, most soulful voices, always enjoyed his singing, fantastic even after 30 years (there's only a few - came to think of Joe Cocker and even Barry Ryan). And of course great songs. "Whiter" was the third 45 I bought ("All you need" the first, "San F" the second). I was 13 back then. 1967, what a summer... Didn't know Peter Frampton was such a killer guitarist. And of course Jack Bruce, enjoyed his solo works ("Consul at sunset" etc). Ringo always amazes me, peace and love. And his drumming is out of this world. No-one else can/could play drums like him. Great concert! RIP Gary and Jack!
