Ever since I stumbled upon this channel, I became infinitely more grateful for the things that my dad has taught me. While he wasn't completely present in my childhood since he was busy with work, he always tried to spend as much time with me and my sister as possible. Since a young age, he taught me about delayed gratification, that one must not dwell in comfort, even though I grew up in a good environment, and that you need to become strong to get what you want in life. I didn't grow up in the West, and while I there are things about my culture that I don't like, I appreciate that being competitive is drilled into us at a young age (luckily, my family did this in a non-toxic way).

This may be the video I’ve disagreed with most. I definitely see where he’s coming from but this metaphor is not 100% accurate. Be the person you think your partner will want. At the end of the day the person you truly want should want you. That “highest quality” woman may not be the kind of woman you really want. Yes you should definitely limit the temptations that you let keep you from your goals. Yes you should work hard for the things you want. No playing some games or watching some anime is not going to stop you from meeting the love of your life. But letting those things take over your life might. Life is about balance. You should find the happy medium where you can improve your self and your life and be an upstanding respectable man and still do the things you love. That way you will find the girl who loves the same things and you can enjoy them with her.

While I do agree to a point, this is getting borderline. You have a point with people wasting time on frivolous things. But going all work 100% will leave you with nothing as well. Also Get the fuck out of cities. You'll never find quality people in them. I've followed you for a while and found myself because of it. But you're starting to sound obsessed. Not every man can be in the 1% that's the nature of the world and the cruel reality. Don't give false hope. However, everyone can find an amazing partner. You just need to temper expectations and not settle for trash. And again, get out of cities. They corrupt passively., even the air you breath is toxic and so is the water. Work on yourself physically mentally and spiritually and find grounded people. Don't just go hard in the paint, because most of your viewers are going to fall for a pretty girl whose good at lying.... Tons of them in the city.

He eats junk food. He doesn’t have the discipline to exercise. He watches TV or reads entertaining novels all the time. He doesn’t fix anything around the house and doesn’t upkeep the yards. I asked him to fix the faucets so we don’t waste water. He said it’s cheaper to pay for the water than a plumber. Our refrigerator has no ice, no water (too cheap to buy expensive filter), no light and with water leak ( we put a towel under). He believes it still works because it’s cold. He said I want too much and expect too high. I keep myself in high standard but why doesn’t he grow on his own?! I am tired of pulling him along for 20 years. We have 3 sons. I am the one who takes them hiking and camping with other dads from scouting. I am angry that he doesn’t parent, teach or discipline. It falls all on me. I hate him for ruining our sons. Under him and with his support, now the oldest son plays video game all day and just wants to get by like his dad. I talked to people at church. One told me to submit no matter what. The other junior pastor said I do bad parenting. I have to choose between God and scouting. I've been doing this thing quite often recently, I look back at the times in my life when I was absolutely, crazily, madly in love with a girl. I look back at those times with so much fondness, so much happiness, so much gratitude. The feeling of being in love really is like no other, where you're in a short of a trance all the time, you're just happy, you're just smiling for no reason, everything reminds you of her, there's nothing wrong in the world.
Over the past couple of years, I'd been telling myself that I'll never allow myself to fall for somebody to that extent again. But over the past couple of months I've realised that its not a feeling I want to sacrifice, its not an experience I want to forego for the rest of my life.
I, now, look back at those memories with nothing but fondness, and think to myself, "I cant wait to experience that feeling again." I use that to motivate me. Because I know for a fact, that the more I improve, the better the woman whom I finally do fall for is going to be.
This helps motivate me even on my worst days.

Mostly agree. You need to cultivate your hunger and passion to thrive in this life. Comfort is the silent killer. Though I would caution against the notion that even one hour of video games is unacceptable and is detrimental toward your position in the race. Man is not designed to run forever without a break. I've burned out many times obsessing about improvement and I would have made much greater progress striking the delicate balance of fighting and resting and recovering.

    • @jgame7587
      @jgame7587 2 года назад +20

I definitely agree with this. Self improvement using all the tools Hamza has mentioned is important and will certainly improve your life. However if you can't take a little break (which the mind needs) to enjoy the things you like whether it would be movies or games then you potentially spiral into a dark place. I personally now eat clean, gym six days a week, have a decent career, read books and also pray five times a day on top of which I can fit in 1 - 2 hours of gaming/ movies a day and this keeps consistent - without the latter I would have given up a long time ago.

I smoked around 20 cigarettes for 16 years, I would cluck like crazy if I didn't have a cigarette but then had to tell my mind im done and now its been just over four months - not one cig. For me personally with games/ shows its a bit easier cause I have fixed time (that slightly moves) linked with go to the mosque for prayers so know I need to switch off to head out. Obviously you do whatever works for you and if gaming or not your thing then great, for me it's a part of enjoying life and doing all this other healthy activities becomes rather meaningless if I can't indulge in some pleasure.

    • @rsv298
      @rsv298 2 года назад +3

@@jgame7587 right on man. It is an opportunity to practice discipline. I feel like life would feel rather dull without watching good movies or playing a good video game. I've given this some thought since I made my comment and I think it's all about the content. Watching reality TV or playing COD online are definitely not a good way to spend your off time. It makes you feel bad about yourself ultimately which causes you to want to do it more. However, watching a thought provoking movie like interstellar or an inspiring one like pursuit of happiness? That is productive. That gives you perspective. That takes you thru a range of emotions that adds value to your life. Likewise playing a great video game like the last of us can teach you life lessons if you look closely enough. Choose your content wisely and it will still be a productive use of time. Some of the best lessons I've learned in life came from fictional books. I used to think reading fiction was a waste of time but man was I wrong.

the only thing i want to remark is that sometimes the competition is misunderstood. For example, in the gym, you can consider that the guy that is most muscular and strong is winning the competition to the guy that is athletic but is not as strong as him. But maybe, for that guy, the goal is to be the healthier as possible, and not to lift the maximum weight and f*ck up his joints. So, the competition is to be happy as a person and everyone has an interpretation of happiness and success.

  • @Noob-zi2ce

Plot twist: The good thing is that the women men actually compete for the most, are actually often low value women. Just because a woman is attractive or hot doesn't mean she'll make a great partner (e.g Amber Heard). So, average men also have a high chance of getting high value women, she may not be the most beautiful but she'll make your life easy and sweet. Learn to identify a high value woman. Never use beauty as a major yardstick, consider attitude and how much she respects you, the most.

This idea of competing against others doesn’t lead to fulfillment. I went down that road and all the benefits of my self improvement started feeling like they were never enough. At my most productive I started resenting my life and would look down on myself for the smallest setbacks/failures. While I think Hamzas advice is usually on the money, this way of thinking is flawed. One needs to find a balance that’s suitable. Long term growth is key and keeping the big picture and passions as your first priority is the way to fulfillment. Let's look at it.
"Competing against others doesn't lead to fulfillment."
Competing against others is the way to achieve socially recognised success in the world. Short of renouncing worldly desire and living as a monk, we're all in the same game, and we're wired to feel emotions according to how well we're doing relative to our peers.
The satisfaction of success may be fleeting, and competing may be stressful, but if you spend 10 years watching RUclips documentaries because your passion is True Crime, not only will you not get fulfilment from it, you'll suffer the sting of being rejected by women as well.
Moreover, fulfilment by its nature is fleeting. We're not wired to experience lasting satisfaction in the absence of achieving some kind of meditative transcendental state, so the aim of chasing some kind of attained level of fulfilment is flawed from the beginning.
We're humans and social creatures - we're wired to find meaning in the social relationships we form. If you prioritise indulging a "passion" over working hard at something society recognises value in, you will struggle to form those relationships and in my opinion you'll be worse off for it because of the way we're wired.

@@shugyosha7924 yes this all might be true but that's not what @J Ultimate tried to say. I think he said that while a certain degree of competition is important, being in a constant battle ain't for everyone.
Yes this sounds like an excuse but I personally relate to this quite a lot.
Being a perfectionist means that every little fucking detail you see that you don't like about yourself drags you down in a deep hole when you're not careful. Combine this with constantly comparing yourself to others. Yes it might bring you forward and will help you with a successful career, but when this very competition kills every emotion in you, makes you hate yourself and assures that you see everyone around as a potential thread (hence someone tries to get your place), it ain't worth it.
When you feel depressed and lonely, you won't get bitches because this takes energy you don't have. You won't get friends because everyone is a potential thread. It nullifies ever, bit of progress when it literally kills you.
      See, no profit.
I've been there to some extent and mentioned stuff is a thing.
Some can go out hunting their goals for 25 hours and 8 days a week but some can't and that's fine as long as they balance their stuff out.

    Please Read:
Do NOT normalize such aggressive & stressful behaviour!
Unfortunately, this is what is being instilled in most men's minds nowadays. It is what is becoming of our society. And to a degree, it can be very toxic. Men are becoming even more aggressive, desperate. Everyone compares themselves, they lash out with insecurities.
But ultimately, peace & staying content are concepts far out of reach for many. There is greed and unhappiness.
Unfortunately, society is full of flaws and there might never be a time where humankind will not have many social flaws. The ego is too powerful.
What happened to being in touch with your emotions? What happened to being aware? What happened to ethics?
I understand how this influence is supposed to encourage people to be their best selves, but many get lost. They think: "Oh wow, I've become so productive, successful, I'm a sigma male now! I can have anything I want...". And they start the numbers game. They keep on attaining & attaining, but it's never enough. At some point, they wonder what's happening in their lives? Things are falling apart. Their friendships, their relationship. Together with their high testosterone, they think they are now number one and nobody else has a voice louder than theirs. With power, must come responsibility as well, the qualities of being humble, understanding others, not overstepping boundaries.
The idealistic & stable version of a relationship is where 2 individuals bond with many of their interests aligning, always having a spark of life AND staying CONTENT. Knowing they are strong together, they will pick eachother up, they will take the best out of eachother. Choosing a partner means investing long-term, knowing you will do great together with them. Knowing you can only improve things together until the end of your life.
That is what TRUST & LOVE are. They are what build great things. Not flight or fight mechanisms, comparisons, stress & reoccurring thoughts, wounds that destroy families. Greed & discontent. It is immature. If people could stay open-minded and accept eachother, plus critique, they would be in a much better position. But the ego is our enemy. The only thing we can do is make decisions and make ourselves proud with our decisions, through lots of effort and self-improvement.
This is a very animalistic take (Hamza's) and sadly, for the masses, it is true. That is why the world we live in can be such a hell and most intelligent people need to build their own "utopias".
Flight or fight effects aren't going to change people for the better, necessarily. It might stress them out so much, that they become negative, aggressive, forceful.
This also puts great pressure on women, because it ruins friendships between the opposite genders. Men always being on the chase. Having hidden motives. Manipulating, twisting.
If more people could stop pornography, spreading sexual content everywhere, normalizing desensitizing, dopamine-boosting activities that make life a chaotic hell, it would be great.
If people could learn healthier coping habits - meditation, sports, journaling & so on. If they could have really good morals, if they could eliminate their insecurities and stop forcing unnecessary stress everywhere, we would have a much more peaceful world. It comes with understanding, awareness... Things not really easily accessible by most.
Everyone has forgotten how to make life enjoyable. To trust, to be with others. We are not alone in our journey. We do not need to motivate ourselves with stress all the time, when we could motivate ourselves through love, happiness, peace. I know I sound like a hippie, but these things are well achievable. It is not all about masculinity. Mental illness is rising and it is at an all-time high because of the spread of information around the world. Because we constantly compare ourselves & we are never enough. But we can be enough and still strive for more.
And here is another comment I will quote, by Sado:
"Hearing this will naturally make men think that every other man is a threat and inherently dangerous to them. It might even cause feelings of aggression and hatred towards other men around them. It should never be this way. The idea that you are in competition with yourself does not actually mean you are just in competition with yourself. It means that you have to become the BEST version of yourself in every way in order to win this race of life. It all begins and ends with you. HOWEVER the main thing you get wrong is that there can absolutely be more than 1 winner. There isn’t any single 1 greatest woman ever that everyone is fighting for. Millions of 10/10 women exist. as with any single 1 greatest man ever. There are truly great people and many of them, not just one single one - that is delusional in this grand scheme of life with billions of humans. Men, you and your brothers can all absolutely be top tier winning men TOGETHER."
It is a negative message that you are spreading, with fear. Fear causes negativity to rise. Negativity ---> Insecurity ---> Mental Illness.
The true losers in this life are those who have to thrive off of walking over others to feel like they are something more.
And these clickbait titles make me wonder if this is all being done to help better people or for the sake of "GLORY" and success.

I understand that the mindset you speak of might be toxic. But it truly is the only way that any modern man can stay above the competition.
We must be strong, purposeful and stoic at all times. If you haven't got a high position in this cutthroat race of life, then it's simply because you possess no masculine virtue.
"Taking a break", "looking after yourself" and "being vulnerable to others" are all feminine concepts designed to strip us men of our power and our voices. We must be constantly striving for perfection, otherwise society and especially the opposite sex will consider us losers.
Like Hamza has explained in this video, society only cares for winners in life. Only the most attractive, successful and disciplined men will succeed during these emerging hard times, and the "average" men are left with absolutely nothing.
Our generation are weak and emasculated. Hamza is a beacon of hope in this day and age due to his encouragement of us to band together in this cult and reclaim our masculine drive and strive for dominance of our world.
No one is truly your friend, only your competition. No matter how much your mental health deteriorates, nothing else matters so long as you've surpassed everyone else in the race.
I urge young men today to take things one step further. Don't just dominate your competition and your women, but make sure other men can never reach your level of success and masculinity. If you can't reach that level of success, you've already lost the race.
Wealth, status, looks and game are everything these days, and Hamza embodies all of these qualities in full. He speaks true of the hard times that are coming our way due to our constant quest for hedonism instead of revitalising our masculine drive.
Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. Weak men create hard times.
If you're not treating your life like the race we are all in from birth, you're simply better off not living your life at all. "Drop out" of life altogether if you aren't willing to prepare for the hard times.

@Bumly What is this elitist mentality? If you are not the most successful, most fit male then your life isn't as worthy?
Wannabe woke cultist, you're feeding yourself lies. Your twisted perception of life is your own dream you're living in.
You can still be masculine, while being humble, happy, content. Having enough, striving for more.
Your own competition really is, only yourself. Your ego will get in your way throughout your whole life and you will always be imperfect, not even imperfect, straight up flawed to the core.
Stop making up these abnormal social constructs. Money won't necessarily make you happy. Productivity won't necessarily make you happy. There is a fine balance. Videogames, art, etc. - it is all joy to be shared with others, they make us more human. They make life more pleasant.
Who is going to call you a loser if you're still fit, have a nice job, have many hobbies, a great mind, good habits & so on?
Nobody. (Maybe someone who is out of their mind and lives in a fabricated lie, insecurities, an unfulfilling life)
You don't have to be the very best to enjoy life, to be successful. If you're not spreading positivity, then what are you leaving on the world after yourself? Nothing. What are you even making for yourself? I hope success is enough to fill that empty, overly masculine heart when you are but an old fool, in an unhappy, torn apart marriage & family, realizing all the mistakes you've made at that point.
People are not to be dominated. They are to be helped. Because together, we are stronger. Together, we cover our flaws and become better. We help eachother.
If you really want to forsake your mental health all the way for toxic masculinity, then consider becoming a gladiator somewhere.
There is SOMETHING & SOMEONE for EVERYONE that makes an effort. You do not have to be at the TOP something percent, this is LIFE and EDUCATION is key. Emotional intelligence is what matters. Awareness is what matters. Good decisions matter the most.
We all strive to leave our mark somehow. Some positively. Some through underhanded means, that ultimately crush society.

I suggest reading the book "The Four Agreements". There are good parts in it and it is very short. Sadly, humans will always have different ideas implanted in their minds, ideas that are not even theirs. So go ahead and read this book and please, stop having these really inflated egos that you must force onto everyone.

Disagree. While you're leveling up, she's already getting piped by men who are there or close to being there. By the time you level up and get her, you're already last or somewhere in-between.
I get the motivational component. But this is exactly why women should NOT be your motivation. But if you want to interchange "wife" with whatever your purpose or goal is, then this absolutely applies.

Even if the girl you were aiming for ends up getting another man who were already at the point you were trying to reach there WILL be another woman who will fit your preferences. Also, any straight man who's normal in his head will be motivated by beautiful women. It makes no sense to say that women shouldn't be your motivation when a great marriage and many healthy children is what EVERY human being SHOULD want in life.

Everything hamza said is mostly true but the mindset of "If i dont go all in at this very moment in time and reach the front of the race somebody else is going to be fucking my potential future wife" isnt the realistic approach to reaching your full potential. Going harder than last time and making gradual improvements that you can measure and record in your career, physical fitness and social relationships while staying competitive is the best way to go. This race isnt a marathon it is a sprint. The man that runs at a strong moderate pace for 10 years is going to surpass the man that sprints hard for 1 year then briskly walks another year for 10 years.

I agree that men do have many things to put themselves as high value on the market and it is a natural lizard brain thing for us as animals and humans. However this doesn’t really give any sort of leverage to what the story of life is, are you doing enough? what is enough? are you wealthy? how wealthy are you? are you active and fit? well you aren’t an olympic runner so you aren’t fit enough. At the end of the day one of the main things that make us very unique as humans is our different perceptions of the world based on our past experiences. We also have consciousness as another one of those different factors. Hard work, focus, discipline is lead before a prosperous life of course, however this message without any sort of levity on when to have fun or when you shouldn’t can lead to other problems. I actually do love this message, just perhaps this could lead to a whole other problem of people working for something they might not even know what it is.

At 25 I feel like the quality of available women around me are less than desirable. I understand that I myself am perhaps not of the highest quality I could be either. So every day I strive to be better than yesterday.
At this age there’s no way a woman doesn’t have a history and all the issues that come with it. Almost feels like you will one day have to pick the best out of a bad bunch ahah. I’ve had my fair share of relationships and casual flings but nothing sticks for too long for various reasons.
Finding someone for the ultimate goal and my biological mission of impregnating seems like picking the best out of a bad bunch.

Competing is good in a certain amount. It's good to race in some stuff with Friends and other men, but exces of competitiveness it's literally deadly. Students in Japan are told to compete a hell lot more than western culture men, to study a hell lot, to have a dream well paid job instead of the one they want, and Guess what? They end up killing themselves if they cannot race ahead of men they don't know for women they don't have. Other men just are so competitive that they get jealous about other man's wife, a woman they have never met or fell in love with that they feel like she would have been their wife, and " if i can't have her, he neither" and end up killing other people because of that. Competing is not bad at a certain extent, it is actually very good as a motivation to improve, but obssesing sick about that Will get you to kill yourself or kill someone else if you think you Lost, or, at least, getting into depression because "you Lost" (didn't marry the woman you didn't knew).

I find that when you focus on other things and improve yourself the women will come to you. You do not "chase the finishline" because that'll make the finish line further away if that makes sense. You'll repulse the finish line if your only mission is to get women

Quitting RUclips is completely unnecessary. It's what is needed to stay sane in a world that makes no sense. The only outlets of truth you will find are on RUclips (and other places such as Rumble, Locals and Odyssey, sure, but the volume is far greater on here clearly).
RUclips is not social media. It is video-hosting that provides people the means to discuss the ideas in a video via comments. TikTok and Instagram are five second dopamine hits with no consideration for discussion and absolute consideration for instilling FOMO and pressure into purchasing products and spending money (mainly through OnlyFans).
