I am running the latest version of KSP (as of 14-Nov-2020). I had to use the "Kopernicus: Bleeding Edge" rather than the normal version of that mod to get things to work properly.
I play a lot of KSP in career mode, so I'm always taking tourist contracts for the money, and a mün-minmus trip is a must on those or you'll find yourself launching 2-3 times the same tourist just to complete the contract... Of course once you have infrastructure in orbit it's a lot cheaper to do... I have a tourist transport vessel the size of a building, reusable landers and mining colonies on both moons... and of course a fleet of passenger SSTOs... I simply love this game...
Tourism contracts are boring as hell, but once you're in a position to complete full itineraries for a dozen or more tourists in one mission with reusable spacecraft, they become a lot more interesting and lucrative. :) I always get amused by the thought of many Kerbals tourists receiving the special surprise announcement that even though they only paid to go to the Mun, they're about to do that plus land on Minmus plus orbit around the sun before coming home again. What a bargain! :D

I find it amusing people are amazed by Matt using mods. He's been using info and graphical mods for quite some time now; this is no different. I know you don't use modds often, but, especially considering this video uses a slightly more substantial one than usual, I think it would be really cool if you could do a realism overhaul carrer mode. It could make it more exciting than a normal one.

Just a question, how hard is it for the computer when using RangeExtender ? Cause I guess it will give much work for the CPU to process all the crafts in the game, right ?
I've had this glitch with the disappearing surface experiments. IIRC They will reappear if you board a vessel that has a storage container with space. It'll appear in there.
Thank you for that. The last time it happened to me I was fortunate enough to have a recent quicksave to load, but I thought I lost the experiment otherwise.
Do a lunar return rover with this texture pack: sample some lunar stuff, send a rover to recover the ‘sample tubes’ and send a tiny rocket to take the samples from the 2nd rover and yoinks them into kerbin
Tesselation means subdividing the geometry (and normally, using a height map to displace the vertices up and down). This is a different approach, it's parallax mapping. Basically, you have several layers stacked on top of the geometry with some transparency (I'm oversimplificating). Think about those videos were an artist paint a golden fish on bucket with resin. There is a paint layer, a resin layer, another paint layer and so on. That's why it looks you are floating over the floor, it's because it is, in fact, flat.
Realistic part clipping is fine. I'd say that science jr module was clipped pretty realistically. I'd imagine for this mission, the lander can was made especially for the inclusion of the science jr.
