I have one. He is the best dog. I've never seen a dog like him both in physical beauty and temperament. Everyone asks me if he is a wolf. I get pushback that it is a not a real purebred breed but a mix. Hopefully the breed gets accepted by more kennel clubs because they are so incredible. Thanks CKC for recognizing the breed.
Hi there, I was wondering, I looked online and saw different responses about they're shedding, does your dog shed alot or is your dog low shed and hypoallergenic?
Dear Sir/Madam, I've watched Aneka Svenska "Animal Watch" RUclips channel just before watching yours & Aneka asked Julie Bradshaw what other breeds make up this hybrid she ( Julie Bradshaw) said Pyrennes being the other dog breed being used with Artic wolves. Your video says otherwise, ie Alaskan Malanutes & Siberian Huskies. It's getting a bit confusing. Which &/ who is correct??? I'be grateful if you could shed some light on the matter. There are so many variations of wolf dogs out there most are either a mix of wolf & Alaskan Malamute/Siberian Huskies (Utonogan/Tamskan) &/ German shepherds (Czech & Saarloos). Kind regards.
Thank you so much for reaching out with your question. Contrary to popular belief, the North American Indian Dog is a purebred dog and is not a hybrid or mixed breed. According to the breed history provided by the breed founder, the original foundation dogs possessed varying amounts of genetics from several dog breeds, including Alaskan Malamute, Siberian Husky, and in some cases, a bit of Great Pyrenees or German Shepherd. Please let us know if you have any further questions!

If it was developed in 1986, and why is it called a North American Indian dog?
Where do people buy them? I can't find a website.
I own one and she is the best. My german shepherd and her get along so so well. She is the most affectionate animal i have ever had
Thanks for watching!

Interested, here looking for an image. I'll read on for a description. 👋🐶
So it is not a Wolf dog 💁🏻♂️
It's safer than one, and you probably don't need to disclose it living with you to the authorities.
Would be 100x better if u had narration
Thanks for letting us know! We'll take this into account for future videos
