Speedroid and Tear are tied because gamba makes those decks infinitely replayable with all the possible lines, then Vanquish Soul for thematics and how well it plays as if you were in a fighting game. Then Spright cuz swarming is fun and they look cool and lastly i have very fond memories of getting Spellcaster's Judgement and upgrading it slowly over time as a kid and dueling friends with it so OldSchool Spellcaster Pile

This video made me remember all the random build-a-deck challenges you used to do. I know they're more time consuming but to me those were the best videos and no one else was going anything like that back then. I hope to see it come back one day.
for my two boomer choices i would say HERO and Gate guardian. for more modern stuff i would say Rescue Ace, mannadium and spright. honorable mentions would be memento and dark magician.

And one that’s not that good it’s the WVXYZ deck because there’s cards that should work with it by reading and for some reason it doesn’t, but if you read what swamp king says or king of the swamp says it should work with those cards because it says if it’s on the field, it can be a substitute and then you banished cards from the field diffusion summon a VW or XYZ or WVXYZ monster and by reading what both cards say it should work and Yu-Gi-Oh‘s not even using their cards right I play with it as it works like that Because that’s what the card says, despite them not allowing it in games

Just try them in a mid-level duel. I'll give you a decklist that is much better than the slop you'll find with a cursory search.

My faves are Blue Eyes, Blackwing, X-Sabers, Toons, and Heroes.
My two most favorite Archetypes are Performapal and Raidraptor, but I also like Nephthys, Sacred Beasts, Sky Striker and Timelords. I also plan to build more decks in the future.
Pendulum Magician Supreme King Z-Arc is my current main. I really like the Supreme King monster designs, I tech a copy of SKD Odd-Eyes purely because it's cool as hell, and Clear Wing is a banger card going second.
I really liked playing pure Odd-Eyes Fusion-Xyz with a little bit of Performapal support for a while, because pulling off a successful Arc Rebellion Xyz or an Odd-Eyes Raging is immensely cathartic. Polymerization is usually seen as a weak option, but Performapal Odd-Eyes Metal Claw is an underrated gem off the back of it.
Rose Dragons were the first proper deck I built getting back into the game and they're really fun, Black Rose is an insane card if you can manage its effect and score some graveyard bounces. I have a deck built entirely of cards themed around roses and flowers; it's not very good, but it sure is pretty.
I will die mad that Red-Eyes is such an awful deck because the archetype is SO sick. Like that's it, it's black dragons with red eyes, why do they suck so bad, of all the bags to fumble??? Infuriating. Justice for Red-Eyes.
And I'm currently building a Tenpai Melodious setup because the whole mahjong idea and playstyle is so endearing to me, I find it really creative and charming. That and I do famously love a Pendulum and a Synchro monster.
That said, I do sometimes find myself side-eyeing Predaplant. Carnivorous plant abominations... you have my attention. They have the vibe that a slightly insane wizard would grow them in their tower in the woods. Arc-V had an unfair amount of S-tier archetypes.

My all time favorite signature card since it's release back in 2006, the OG "Cyberdark Dragon". I actually quit the TCG scene in 2011 because Adulthood hits like a truck in my family's household. Then return when I heard that they made a Structure Deck for Cyberdark End Dragon. I went out of my way with ordering exclusive Konami Japan exclusive card sleeves and many other Cyber Dragon support cards :)) Impossible to try to pull the ULT's of each piece from Cyberdark Impact, being how a box is going for $400...but a man can dream owning all 3 Fusion Materials + My Main Squeeze Monster. Nothing particular special about card's. . .just nostalgic times holding so many memories.
No particular order but:

My favorite deck is Melffys.
But I love Marincess, Prank Kids(bring back Meow Meow), Endymion, Dinos(give us back misc 2 and 3 you already took Linkuriboh Konami) and Sky Strikers.
Favorite decks eh? There's quite a few. For me my baby is Cyber Dragons. That deck got me back into the game more or less when the Cyber Strike Structure Deck came out, although before that I believe I was playing Metalfoes and Dragonmaids. But Cyber Dragons were the deck that pushed me into joining Locals and I've been hooked ever since, for better or worse XD. Swordsoul is another fav. Easy to learn, Hard to master. Dinomorphia, for when I just wanna piss people off XD. Branded is another fun one, tho definitely a more complicated deck to pilot. Marincess is another fun one. My brother got me into that deck funny enough. Rn I just built Exosisters and Spright w/ Melffys, Kashtira Fenrir and the Adventure Package. Oh and of course Blue-Eyes! My first ever deck back when the og Starter Deck Kaiba and Yugi came out. Then there's decks like True Draco, Speedroids, Sacred Beasts, Red Dragon Archfiend, Ignister, Rokket Dragonlink, Dragunity, and so many others.

5 I would say is Dragons roar structure deck but I took out the red eyes cards and added Horus.
4. XYZ Dragon Cannon. I really wish there was a reliable way to make A-Z
3. Blue eyes because it has carried me through PvE content in many games.
2. Ghoti. This deck is a blast and I wish we could get more support.
1. Without question, Umi. Pacifis, single handedly brought back my love for the game. I played that deck religiously and when the new Umi cards dropped, I played both decks but then eventually combined the 2 (I just subbed 2 copies of ALO for Pacfis). Still to this day, the token saves my but on a regular basis.

Lightsworns and Quickdraw Synchro was fun in 5D's era, I liked playing Prophecy in Zexal era, and I like playing Pendulum Magicians now. I also sorta like Sky Striker. That would probably be my top 5. Any time before 5D's I didnt have a decent allowance to afford playing anything that wasnt just a mish mash of stuff I had. I always wanted an E Hero deck but had enough stuff to build one. So in both DM and GX era I always kinda just made stuff like "spellcaster deck" or "warrior deck."
Pure Rikka, Nemlaria/Adventure, Earthbound, Abyss Actor, and Cyberse Witch Turbo are my favorites.
MyaKashi, cube, @lgnister, Ancient gear, lightsworn. And a honorable mention I have Three . Utopia /swordsouls / Speedroid

Definitely a list thats changed over time but i think thats how i feel about it right now.
My top 5 is Branded, Orcust, Madolche, Shaddoll, and Dragunity. HM is probably Synchron, Lightsworn, Dark Magician, and Blackwing. All of these decks are super fun to play. They make the list over other decks because when they support, I get really excited about playing with it.
If I were to list a top 5 I'd pick:
1. Swordsoul
2. Endymion
3. Pendulum Magician
4. Heroic
5. Salamangreat
If I'm allowed to pick weird hybrids then I'd pick Swordsoul Tenpai. I made it as a joke, and between conflicting Types (Wyrm vs Dragon), conflicting Attributes (Everything vs Fire), and at least one of the lines often requiring your Normal Summon (potentially locking you out of the other) it shouldn't work as well as it does, but a focus on Synchro Summoning and Swordsoul's burn damage complementing Tenpai's battle damage (and Swordsoul allowing the deck to go first), as well as Tenpai being Fire monsters combining well with Protos (particularly in this format) makes the deck pretty absurd when it goes off. In my experience the worst case scenario is either opening just one of the lines or you just open handtraps. It also often relies on Genroku, which currently isn't out yet, but it's still pretty fun to play as is. I'm pretty sure pure Tenpai is the more viable build, but this one makes Tenpai a bit more interesting for me personally.

Yep, DM and BE all the way, i play them now in Duel Links and Master Duel. No big tricks, no crazy stuff, just good old fashion fun play. :D I do really like the Aromages, probably because they are spellcasters.
Bought my first structure deck since 2003 last month. So I’m in the process of creating
a red dragon Archfiend,
blue eyes (big emphasis on ultimate dragon)
Dark world (just off the strength of a video you made)

-control/stun. I used to run a pretty toxic deck with nightmare wheel, coffin seller, lava golem, draining shield, just a bunch of stall cards. Fibre jar was there lol. Pretty much pile.

I think its very obvious what my favorite characters are in the animes aka joey and kite. However red-eyes and armed dragon(also dragunity) are also tcg nostalgia reasons as the first deck I played was the dragon's roar structure deck as well as eventually the dragunity structure deck. Before that I just had a pile of cards that was mostly dinosaurs(maybe it was a structure deck too but I don't remember but I vividly remember uraby being my favorite and "ace" card in that pile even if there was better cards so it's kinda fitting I went from the black dinosaur with red-eyes to the black dragon with red-eyes)

Black garden token stampede beatdown(Links killed it), Gravekeepers, Ancient Warriors, D/D/D, and Snake-eyes until they overstayed there welcome at the top, lava golem with remove brainwashing old school burn and beatdown mixed deck as an honorable mention considering snake-eyes doesn't really count.
Zombie World, Red-Eyes, Mekk Knights, Adamancipator, and Machina
My favourite decks are Evilswarm. Branded Despia. Infernoid. Dark Magician and last is probably Cyberdark
I play Master Duel now a days, as it's convenient for me to play regularly. On MD, I have been playing mainly Deskbots. I try to keep it pure Deskbots with some other Earth Machine support. Main strategy go second, turbo out as many Deskbots as possible to either disrupt opponents board, or OTK with Deskbot 9, The Boss monster. I used to play Heros a bit back in the day, as well as Six Samurai. But never got big into the competitive side. Mainly kitchen table Yugioh
My favorite deck of all time is Hieratic dragons. They were my first competitive deck back when i started playing in high school around 2013. If it wasn't obvious lol
