I loved that Namek course. Mario dying and going to snake way for the star was creative as hell. Then the next mission he comes back as a super plumber. That shit was awesome. I love Dragon Ball!

Upon firther watching, this game is fucking phenomenal! The jump scare desert hippos, the tiki boss, the Medusa and Zeus boss, like holy shit that was great! And course 10! My god it's both great and hilarious, I did NOT see that coming! The exploding golem is also absolutely hilarious.
This literally can be called Mario Odyssey 64. It legitimately looks like if Mario Odyssey was made for 64. Or if they tried to take Mario Sunshine and put it as a 64 sequel, very cool! If you did not have to go into the pipe for every star and it recorded like Odyssey records moons where you don't have to exit the level you could tell me this was an Odyssey beta and I would believe you, it feels like a true Oddysey demake, which sounds bad but is quite impressive Like they could have easily made these levels levels in Odyssey if you jumped into the paintings with the 64 outfit on at the post game
Damn, Mario was so scared about the huge boulder that he didn't say a peep. And the boulder was so scared of an acrobatic Italian plumber that it didn't make a noise.
The creator knocked it out of the park with Great Wall, Olymp, and Namek! Very creative adjustments to game mechanics! Recommend ads/moving platforms/arena modifications for boss fights, maybe even just trash talk in the rest periods after getting damaged
The desert level is really cool. I especially love how the more you progress your actions actually transform the level. And DK's level is cool cuz it looks like a mix of DK and Sunshine.
If I had a complaint it would be that the very first star in the first world was gotten way too easy, I know it's not a AAA project but compare to the first star in Mario 64, you at least went from one end of Bob Omb Battlefield to the far side and all the way up so you had a complete look at the level first. Overall a cool looking mod, but when the LPer is playing as optimal as this, a lot of the details pass by.
I think this is super cool, I also think if you put DK instead of Mario and Balloons instead of Stars this could have been a really cool DK Game as well. Either way the mod is AMAZING, I am super hyped just watching it I haven't even played it yet
