I faced off against a Gengar ex and Wheezing deck yesterday with my Gengar ex and Meowth deck. We were very even throughout, but I ultimately pulled through in the end by a sliver. I was so impressed I immediately send a friend request haha. I want to try out this deck now as well!
I've been running Clefable with my Gengar EX. 100 HP, 40 damage for 1 psychic energy, a 1 retreat cost, and a weakness to metal instead of Dark makes it such a good wall.
Gengar + Psyduck (without its evolution) is better in my opinion, since until you evolve your Genger the opponent may already finished using all support cards. Also Psyduck only use neutral energy, so you don't need duo energy

Hey I have a really specific question I can't seem to find the answer from anywhere, hoping you could help. If I made an account, subscribed for 2-week free premium pass trial, and linked it to my Nintendo, will I be able to get the 2-week free trial if I rerolled to a new account?
Why would you reroll an account that you started the premium pass trial on? Rerolling is only for when you don't want to commit anything to an account so you can start it over with another 20 pack openings. If you've started the trial, then you've already messed up.
@@ydgmdlu Because I started the premium trial before i was even aware that rerolling accounts was a possibility. I mean at the end of the day if I get a really good reroll, I don't mind buying the pass for $10. My first account I didn't pull a single ex over 21 packs (besides the guaranteed one)
@@deliquentOfficial then please don't reroll. Your bad early luck is going to average out in the long run, so you'll get some really good luck at some point later. Remember that you will not have the option to reroll when more sets are released; better get used to being stuck with you got now, LOL. I was in a similar boat as you; I only pulled one or two EX Pokémon in my first 50 packs, and the ones that I did get weren't any of the really good ones. Then suddenly like two weeks later (I played during the soft launch), my luck completely turned around, and I pulled a crown Pikachu, and then a day or two later I pulled the immersive Pikachu, and I also got a god pack. More recently I pulled a crown Mewtwo and an immersive Charizard. I still haven't spent a single penny on the game yet. So I firmly believe that rerolling is unnecessary and will skew people's expectations on what they can or should get. Rerolling only helps you get a few of your most wanted cards, but it has no impact on your pulls later, meaning that you could get some really good EX cards on day one but still fail to have the pieces for a cohesive deck until weeks later.
You can always transfer your pass between your accounts! The only thing you're missing out are the few days you used your premium pass on your first account since you cant start a new pass anew :)
@@ydgmdlu For me the whole point of rerolling isn't to maximize luck, its just to have a decent deck to play with in the beginning. I don't want to spend the first month playing with a mediocre deck waiting till I pull better cards. That will just kill the fun for me. I won't have a problem waiting for better cards if I have something fun to play with in the meantime.
Stop putting weezing in everydeck without dark energy. Stalling is bad if you're not having a huge lategame con like Dnite. Gengar is more tempo-ish. Play him with kang/meowth/farfetch'd/hypno, but weezing without dark energy is a bait 90% of the time.. (not being toxic rn, you got the joke ?)
This guy thinks that he's so good that he can get into the official TCG because he wins a few matches against casuals who don't even have complete decks while using full deck of full-art cards himself. You don't stand a chance against people who dedicate their whole life in the TCG.
@@Xatumiwell, yes, because then we get to see an above average player taking on the meta decks with these more off-meta strategies, and it’s more engaging because there’s more to learn from it.
@Xatumi I get your point if you were streaming, but you're literally trying to showcase how "good" a card is. It's just not... It's clearly a teir or more below Mewtwo/Pika/Starmie decks. FUN? yes...Interesting? YES! But sadly this games balance is awful. Winning against terribly unoptimized (some flat terrible) doesn't prove anything. Of someone goes and spend their pack points or dumps hourglasses into packs they will fell awful when they get bent over by Meta decks. Weezing/Koga carries this just like it carries every "Meta crusher!" Deck spammed on YT. Lol I also love Gengar and I hope it gets more support in the future.
@@Xatumiespecially with it being the release set there is only so much you can play and play against. But especially in a showcase video that first game was very disappointing. The random Pidgey and the way that person played in general would make solo Farfetch'd look S tier.

clefable has been helping me win so many more matches

No, i tried so many times and is very bad. Psyduck does low damage and is not enough tanky to let you charge gengar

Wish there was an efficient way to mix it with psyduck in a deck. Turn 1 no support cards. Potentially all game no support cards.
