Thank you so much for watching!! Do you have a "dirty secret" in you're home? This was most definitely mine. I can't believe how bad it was but I'm so thankful it's cleaned up. Have a great weekend!!
Well done lass, what a huge job. I'm coming to the final stages of my own overhaul and clearout of my craft room too, very daunting and not at all fun to do, I'm 58 with sciatica, rhumatoid arthritis and being 40kg overweight ... the simplest of things so hard to do. I had totally lost my mojo, I've gone through far too many thrilling and exciting motivations when I see my wonderful youtube favorites teaching a new technique or showing a new product - then I come crashing down as I realise how much effort I would have to go through just to find a bit of desk space to copy them. I felt I was spiraling into sadness which I wanted to avoid worsening into depression so I made a commitment over the Christmas holiday period when I had 2 weeks off work to do what you did. Going back to work Monday and probably about where you were at the beginning of your day three but like you, the vision is there and within reach. If I can face the next few months till my next leave being able to walk in the door and be able to grab a glass of wine, pull out a paper pack and some photos and get stuck into my scrap booking it will definitely all be worth it! Big hugs, well done again sweetie and thanks for letting us into your home :-)
Congratulations what a job. I am just starting and am overwhelmed with it and trying to just do it. Enjoy your nice clean room. You gave me more incentive. Thank you for the video.
I expected so much worse with the word hoarder. A lot of stuff yes but it seems like you got it under control. I think you did a great job. I’m sure it was hard but also such a good feeling to feel more organized. Best of luck to you in staying on track.
I am watching this video for motivation to clean and organize my sewing/craft room. I moved into this house a year ago and I just kept putting boxes in that room. I can’t sew or craft anything with that mess. But when I saw that you had those shelves for your glitter, all I could think of was that my late husband helped me make some of those. I bought the wood at Lowe’s and began putting them together and painted them white. I made 3 long picture rails.
Hi!! 👋 My name is Alicia but all my friends call me Leashy. I'm 47 and married, no kids. We live in Indiana. I love to do arts & crafts stuff!! I color, draw, paint, make stuff LOL its always something isn't it!? 🎨✏I also write poetry and short stories. I have 1 cat named Pixie. She is 15 years old Tortie and plays fetch, peek-a-boo, tag, hide & seek!! 🐱

@@juliebey8240 I think with crafts it's different. I used a lot of money, to buy them, so not gonna throw away perfectly fine material. Just started 2 years ago. lol my spare bedroom! It's a storage room for my stuff and since my daughter only has a small one bedroom apartment with no extra space...yeah it's bad. 🤣🤣 I keep saying I'm going to get it organized but I walk in and turn around and walk out! I have a couple of closets that need some work also. Why do we put stuff like this off? It always feels so good afterwards! Great job sweetie, have a wonderful week! 💕
I would keep the extra cube storage unit, it fits the space perfectly. I'd get some of the boxes that fit those openings to get some of the more visually distracting items into a designated space - one for cords and electronics chargers for example, and a filing system for your scraps. I use one of the expandable envelopes with 12 'slots' and sort by color. You'd probably need two or three, but they will fit in one or two cube spaces neatly. Get the last of the vinyl holders up on the wall and filled and work down the inventory so all the vinyl fits into those four holders instead of three holders, a basket and a cube. I would LOVE to have a finished basement. Mine is unfinished - bare concrete, rock and mortar walls, open to the joists ceiling with wiring and plumbing exposed. But it's dry and everything is in labeled tubs. I sew in a corner of the dining room, scrapbook in my office (which is also my WFH space three days a week, so nothing can be left out) and only bring up or take out one project at a time. Project boxes to keep each project together so it can be pulled out and put away quickly. And a tray cart for tools and gear. You've made some great progress!
Thanks so much for posting this. I watched it while I was trying to tackle my craft room. I have a Rv. My hubby likes to go camping but I could never tent camp.lol hoping you are going on many camping adventures!
I've started doing the same thing, my room is half the size of your space but I think I may have more stuff than you!! My goal has been to get rid of half of everything. It’s always overwhelming for me to approach my craft room. There is just so much there, and my surplus supplies that don’t fit in the craft room are in my garage. Once you get started though, it gets easier as you see progress. Parting with supplies I might use is impossible for me.
Thank you for keeping it real. It's okay to have anxiety, there are many of us that deal with it. I get anxiety thinking about downsizing. I recently moved from California to Texas and I had to leave a lot of stuff behind I was having anxiety about that. My spaces are very important ares in my home and I don’t like them to be cluttered……I am so happy to be a new subscriber and look forward to joining you on your journey here on you tube! 🤗🤗🤗
Great job! Your hard work paid off! I have a similar area to yours on the left of your desk chair. I put a small tension rod there & made a curtain of pretty fabric that matches my craft space. 😊
My 2023 resolution is to redo my craft room, make a center island for to have a clear table top, for whatever I need weather a sewing cutting station, or a photo shoot session, painting, card making whatever the task at hand. I am doing the same thing, am going to purge, I got crazy too when buying supplies, I have to learn to buy only the amount needed for each project. Overwhelmed is a real thing, what are those things for $2?
You could donate the extra water bottles to y'all's school districts athletic department, or the homeless shelters to help them to stay hydrated during the summer time...
I am so glad I found your video. I am struggling with trying to organize a craft room. I recently bought a new house, and although I have more living space, I have a lot less crafting space, and I am totally overwhelmed. In my old home I had about 1300 square feet of living space, but I had almost the same amount of finished basement crafting space. I now have a 17 x 15 room, built over the garage, with two slanted walls. What motivated you to destash?? 🙃
I'm so glad you're here!! Honestly, I was tired of looking at everything and one day I just decided to get it clean it up. However, we have since moved to a tiny ranch style home, no basement or area for crafting. I had to downsize even more and now I'm struggling to find space in our new home for the stuff I loved to much to get rid of. 😔
I put all my vinyl scraps in a12x12 scrapbook. By color . That one book takes up a lot less space. I’ve seen others use a expandable mail sorter which sits on their floor under the desk. Both would work.
Glad I found your channel. I have way to much stuff and have been sorting etc. Trying to find places to donate or sell is the hard part. I do have a question for you. What do you have your cricut sitting on? Well I am looking forward to more videos

You are braver than I am, I so want to downsize my craft supplies…. Not because I’m never going to do it, but because I work full time nights and I am always so tired I can’t find the time to make things anymore. I really want to, but I’m stuck in a major rut… I also need help going through all my things and donating lots I can part with, but again tired all the time. I want to scream for help!!! I hope to figure out what to do and get started. ASAP! Thanks for sharing your journey, wish me luck!! PS are you going to keep working on certain types of crafts? If so, what will they be??? You seem like a major crafter… good luck 😊
Wishing you the best of luck to you!!! It took me a very long time before I finally just did it. I miss a lot of my stuff but know it's for the best. I still do some cricut crafting with decals and I made a friend a couple shirts the other day. Making shirts are my favorite!!
I just subscribed to your channel and I love what you did your craft room. I need to revamp my craft room again because I just learned that stamps can’t go in direct sunlight. So a reorganization is in store for me. I won’t video myself doing it because I don’t walk well but I will do another craft room tour update.
Congrats on your craft room. I'm sorry you had to stop your business but we must persevere! May I ask why you have a black and white cow in the window? I was admiring your green desk and there he is! I had to stop the video and just look at him.😄
😅😅😅 My grandparents used to live on a farm in Iowa. The cow was a gift to them from my parents 40+ years ago, so when they moved off the farm I brought it to town. She gets a lot of attention!
Just love those split level houses…not. I live now in Nebraska and when house hunting those are the only houses it seems. I had my craft room in the lower level also..but just moved my craft room upstairs to the smallest bedroom. Your space turned out great! What craft are you going to be venturing into now that you are not making tumblers?
Just getting started. Just cramming craft stuff in average size room. Have no shelves got two chest of drawers they are full. Working on small check. Age 63. Room is so full can't craft in room anymore. One small desk and bed side chest, full walls full floor full of bins basket s no closet. Really need help. Fell I need all my stuff. 95 percent is new stuff. Help me 🥺 please.
You have a tall clear plastic unit with drawers that is wide in the beginning of this video on the left of your tumbler items....where did you get that unit please? Sandy
Actually, I do lol! When they first started talking about moving and listing the areas, Bobby & I joked about being neighbors. I don't know them on a personal level though.
Unfortunately not much these days. We moved and I don't have much space to spread out. I did keep my cricut, heat press and I have made some freshies here and there for personal use.
I used to like camping but now with the way the world has changed no way too many homeless people are at the camping sites so no way I would go back unless it's with a big group
Just RUclips for now, but the craft bugs have been itching. I just have to figure out how to scratch the itch without having a ton of space to store everything.
What is the stuff that u said wasn't selling that u had listed for $2? I'm just really starting to get into crafting more and might be interested in some of your stuff that your parting with.... by the way why are you deciding not to craft as much and getting rid of so much of you don't mind me asking?
Thank you! Yes, it's a solid 300lb concrete statue 😜 It gets a lot of attention lol. She was a gift to my grandparents from my parents and when they moved off the farm, I brought her and her calf to the city!
watched this with sadness for you and knowing I have to do the same! kudo's to you. If it will make you feel better , I have totally taken over 1 bedroom, and mudroom. and have a seperate room for jewelry making! omg come and help me!
I'm not going to lie, I've been incredibly regretful in getting rid of everything! It was super hard and although I enjoy seeing the cleaned and decluttered space, I miss making cups.
Honestly, it's costly and my cups weren't selling. My area is heavily saturated with tumbler makers. Also, we want to move and our potential new home will not have a basement or other space for me to have all of the supplies I had. I'm going to miss it like crazy and still feel sad that I sold everything but overall I know it's what's best right now.
@@BeingMrsFrasure I am so glad it's not a health issue. I have heard breathing the chemicals in the resins is causing lung problems in some. I have been thinking of getting into it, but it looks like a lot more than I can handle right now since I work a full time job. It looks like fun, but I am sure it is very expensive. Thank you for your information and your honesty. Good luck with all your other crafty endeavors. Hope to see more from you soon.
Thank you so much! Yes, epoxy can be very harmful to the lungs. I always made sure to wear a respirator, goggles and gloves but there are materials coming out now that are non toxic!

Thank you so much!! 🥰
Awesome job. Now just keep it this way and we all need to think before we make our next purchase… I should know🤣
Did you try selling the tumblers as a kit? Glitter and supplies in a kit would have been awesome.
the random bits of epoxy stuck to everything is so real
You did an amazing job!!! But, I am exhausted just watching you🤣 TFS!
I love warm weather. Snow is pretty from afar
Agree!!
I gave away craft stuff once ! Never again. Please do an update !😊
Great job! Don’t you have a calm and creative feeling now?
Suggestion for your shelves; if you haven’t put anything on them.. you can put your freshie fragrances on them. If they fit of course.
That is what I ended up doing! It made it so much easier to see the different fragrances.
Thank you for subscribing 🥰 I had no idea about stamps. I'll have to tell my daughter because she enjoys stamping.
@@BeingMrsFrasure You are welcome 🤗
I wish I would have seen it or live in the area. Your doing great. What are they? The things for $2?
You have a tall clear plastic unit with drawers that is wide in the beginning of this video on the left of your tumbler items....where did you get that unit please? Sandy
All my drawers have come from Michael's Craft Stores.
I hate snow, too! 😣😝 I came here from Cambriea's channel... Wish I lived in Florida!! 🌞😍
Welcome!! 🥰🥰🥰 I do not miss snow! We moved to Florida around the same time as Cambriea!
@@BeingMrsFrasure cool!! Do you live in Volusia county near her?🆒
Actually, I do lol! When they first started talking about moving and listing the areas, Bobby & I joked about being neighbors. I don't know them on a personal level though.
@@BeingMrsFrasure you should do a coffee date at her mom's cafe and do a video!! That would be awesome!! 👍👍💞
Thats a fun idea!! My family loves her moms coffee shop. ❤️
Hi, thank you for keeping it real! Your room looks awesome! What do you have your cricut machine sitting on, that looks really cool!!
Thank you!! They're legs I found on Etsy.
Where did you get the stand for your Cricut? Everything is looking nice and refreshed🙂
I found it on Etsy!
Beautiful, looks awesome.
Can you put the scent jars on your glitter shelves
Great suggestion! I did end up doing that, and it worked perfectly. 🥰
What crafts do you still work on? It looks like you have Freshies and the heat press (shirts?) Is it for a business or for fun?
Unfortunately not much these days. We moved and I don't have much space to spread out. I did keep my cricut, heat press and I have made some freshies here and there for personal use.
Great job!
You did a wonderful job!
What type of shelf do you have your cricut on? Thank you
They were 3D printed legs that I found on Etsy.
You could donate to your kids school or shelter close to you. I love your desk! Thanks for sharing. New subscriber
Thank you so much for subscribing!! That's a great idea to donate to the shelter or school!!
I subscribed
I had palpatations when you said you were getting rid of your glitter. How can anyone do that?
If we weren't moving, trust me, they would've stayed! I miss my glitter so much 😭😭😭
way to go!
I used to like camping but now with the way the world has changed no way too many homeless people are at the camping sites so no way I would go back unless it's with a big group
Great as always
Thank you 🥰🥰🥰
What are the shelves called from IKEA that you have holding your glitter please??
They're the 45" MOSSLANDA picture legde.
Did you sale the heat press and the vynl stuff. I am new to cricket and how to do it.
No I only sold my cup stuff and one of my cricuts. I love doing decals and making shirts so I kept all of that stuff ❤️
What will you be doing if you aren’t doing cups anymore?
Just RUclips for now, but the craft bugs have been itching. I just have to figure out how to scratch the itch without having a ton of space to store everything.
Ooh my goodness..my store room 🤫🤫
🤐🤐🤐 I won't tell!
😳🤔👏👏👏😝🤣🤣🤣. ❤️😀
What is the stuff that u said wasn't selling that u had listed for $2? I'm just really starting to get into crafting more and might be interested in some of your stuff that your parting with.... by the way why are you deciding not to craft as much and getting rid of so much of you don't mind me asking?
Everything has sold. We're wanting to declutter a bunch of things for future plans. ❤️
Why did you stop making cups?
I was having a hard time selling them, we wanted to move and the clutter was getting to me.
Nicely done!!!!
Is that a cow outside your window?
Thank you! Yes, it's a solid 300lb concrete statue 😜 It gets a lot of attention lol. She was a gift to my grandparents from my parents and when they moved off the farm, I brought her and her calf to the city!
🙌
What are you donating? I might be interested in buying them.
They were plastic water bottles but I found somewhere to donate them ❤️
Where are you selling I would like to take a look?
Sorry, everything is sold.
Take items to be donated to a Womens and Children's Shelter they would be so grateful
watched this with sadness for you and knowing I have to do the same! kudo's to you.
I will take the glitter
If you don't mind me asking, why are you selling out the tumbler making stuff?
Just found your channel hunni now one of your subies!!!! Did you manage to sell everything if not can you let me know your FB link so I can look ☺☺☺☺
Welcome and thank you so much for subbing!! I did get everything sold. A friend of mine ended up buying it all!
@@BeingMrsFrasure That's great that you sold everything hunni
