As an American, hearing that one day maybe my generation will be in charge feels as distant as a two state solution. Our government has made it clear over the last 9 months that we aren’t worth a fart in the wind. We’ve had soldiers self immolate on camera saying free Palestine and I don’t our leaders even remember. All our protests were written off as readily by our congress, as they were by Netanyahu himself, as Hamas and Iran sponsored. They refuse to even dignify our demands with assumption that they’re genuine. All of us are foreign agents in their eyes.

For now Palestinians wants the entire land, they want to expel the jews, you can see all the polls and really a multitudes of videos, only Palestinians abroad want peace and coexistence, the one in Gaza and the West Bank have very different aspirations. Same for the jews btw the very vaste majority of jews that want this, coexistence and that ask for a ceasefire lives in the confort of their western, occidental life.
Israelites are not "hyper-educated". These days almost any ordinary or mediocre person can get diplomas or degrees from universities which follow an education system in need of many reforms.
Israelites had a period of time of about a century when they had important scholars and thinkers, but that period is gone and it ended when the zio state became increasingly militaristic, chauvinistic and aggressive, committing many atrocities, mostly after 1967.
Now the majority or all Israelites join the army and are militaristic arrogant and ethnocentric, and many of them are reverting to their old tribalist exclisivist biblical religion. Extremists, right wingers and religious conservatives have key position in the government. All this will have very bad consequences for them.
War has to end everywhere if humanity is to survive...to want to be all powerful will only end in major catastrophe...for all.

Israel govt just voted against recognising a Palestinian state as this would be a threat to Israel. How has it worked out for you not recognising a Palestine state? PLO recognised Israel's right 1993, Hamas will accept a Palestinian state in the 1967 border which 75% of UN recognise. Why can Israel not see the problem is them not meeting half way? They just take and take and blame everyone else for the trouble there.
Israel offered them Gaza and about 85% of the West Bank in 2000 for their state, a lot more than half way. The problem is that the PA wasn't willing to be reasonable. Makes you wonder if they even want a state. Ever since they switched their message from: 'We want to destroy Israel' to 'We just want a state' they've been gathering sympathy. Did anything actually change? It's rather easy to say that you just want a state, but then refuse every offer you get based on unreasonable demands.

You know when parents have a child, that child is 100% totally dependent on the parents for its survival. Then that child grows up and with every day that child becomes autonomous and able to fend for itself, then the dependency lessens and at some point that child is well established self sufficient and ready. Now what is the guarantee that this child is an upstanding member of the community? Well one hopes that the parents have given that child all the best in nurturing and education. But still there is no guarantee. After all the World had a Adolf Hitler, a Kim Jong Un, a Mao Zedong, a Idi Amin, a Joseph Stalin, a Ariel Sharon, a Benjamin Netanyahu to name a few. Israel has grown up to be just like that “bad child”. Dependent on others beholding to none.
