Best of luck Jeremy! Tony Benn looks down upon you and ushers you on with a raised fist and a smile! You tried your best. Unfortunately you were surrounded by a nest of venomous vipers, totally lacking in moral fibre and devoid of humanity. My father, grandfather and great grandfather were skilled tradesmen and worked in the shipbuilding industry along the Clyde. They were loyal and trusting card carrying members of Labour Party all of their working lives. I’m now in my 70’s and it’s taken me till now to realise that Labour is corrupt , self serving and no longer considers or represents the working people of the United Kingdom. I have voted labour all my life, and never wavered, even for the SNP. However , I swear I will never vote for Labour again. Keir Stammer is not worthy of receiving single vote from the working men and women of these Islands. Alas he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing , yet to be revealed! I wish you every success and pray you won’t be affected by the lying and unscrupulous behaviour of Stammer and his hand picked constituency members. 🍀🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Gaza isn't a foreign policy issue anymore. That's why people are caring and moving because of it. We all see that what they're being allowed to do in Gaza could be done to any of us next. That billions of tax revenue and massive weapons shipments go to Israel regularly without any question as to the cost, but we face new levels of austerity year after year because they plead poverty. People aren't interested in national borders anymore. It's class that binds us together across all other identities.

Net Zero is a eu mechanism that steals hard earned money from people: All those who crow on of the eu's green policies have never bothered to even read them or they would already know how seriously bad all the eu's green policies are. Take the first one they come up with way back in 2010, eu climate targets. When the eu set their cimate targets they knew that no country could ever ever meet them as a Telegraph journalist proved & pointed out, they were nought but cash cows stealing millions of euro's for the eu - take the carbon tax too that America came up with. In America if companies prove they cut back their carbon outage they qualify for a tax break, which is an incentive, but the eu version carbon taxes you & every business & as business's will put the cost of their carbon tax onto all that they sell, everything will go up in price just so the eu gets money for itself & we pay every business's carbon tax plus our own Even the extra 20% eu energy companies want put on your energy bills to build wind farms etc, that you pay for, but they own & forever charge you for using is capitalism at it's very worst - Do you get the picture yet green greenies - Take the climate satellite the eu spent millions on. All the greens went yay but no one knows the eu use it to look at the heat your house loses so as to carbon credit cash cow you. None of the greens will admit they never read them & until they do we cannot deal what needs to be done properly, what we need is a national debate.
The amount of information of that is used by the greens is completly bogus, it is fed totally by business's surrounding the energy business who have realised they can make an extra 20% profit just by saying give us 20% extra on peoples gas & electricity bills so we can build electricity making windmills & tidal power gadgets, that you pay for it all, but only the companies profit from it, forever. Whereas before folk got together & put their own money to form a market niche for themselves & split the profits between themselves BUT NOW greedy business's want your money to form a market niche for themselves & to take the profit all for themselves & nothing to you all that paid for it all.
Even the Victorians would've made sure everyone could throw a quid in & include them in gaining a profit, which is what the green policy should be: A cross party national green pot that everyone can donate into & have a say as to what that money is spent on in their area with no council or government in control apart from ensuring all is above board. That every green levy taken including congestion charges & ulev's etc, all monies raised goes into the national pot, for everyone in every area to be able to gain access too & plan what could be done in their area, as they know where all the best places would be to do stuff & councils, government & business's do not spend any of the money, but the people do & any business involved is paid for doing a job & nothing else, then we'd all chuck in, willingly.

On the contrary, if a political party or a polician are so corrupted, morally, by foreign powers that they are aiding and abetting apartheid, murder and land grab anywhere around the world, would you expect them to be any good at all at home? The answer is obvious.

    • @kieranharwood7186
      @kieranharwood7186 Месяц назад

Foreign policy is much more important than people give it credit for.
If nothing else, where do you think that refugees come from? Desperate people who've had their homes demolished don't just materialise, fully formed, from the Ether, they come from places, like Gaza, where an invading force bombs civilians or like the West Bank, where Apartheid and ethnic cleansing are inflicted on the native people.
And our stance loses prestige on the World stage. When over 150 countries condemn Israel and we are one of the few who abstain, we don't come across as a country to respect, we aren't seen as a country who values the rule of law and stands up to injustice.
And further, what does it cost? It would cost Starmer nothing to have condemned the starving of civilians. It's the lawful thing to do, it's the moral thing to do, it's the popular thing to do and it's even best for him politically.

Commentators on the issues around Gaza really need to listen carefully to what the Palestinians and Arab Muslims are saying in their communities, and that is that they do not want a two-state solution because they do not want and Israeli state. Full stop. We in the West cannot grasp what this means because of the way we think. But we are neither Arab nor Palestinian nor Muslim and that means we just don’t get the nub of the problem. So, all credit to Jeremy Corbyn but he has a blind spot when it comes to this issue, and, as intimated above, he is far from on his own.

WAR may mean different things to different people such as
E1. Wars are money making rackets.
E2. Wars are someone else problem.
E3. As a Muslim I feel that the West is fighting Islam.
E4. As a USA supprted Israel, I'd feel that to have a western foothold in the middle east we need to remove all threats.
Except, the UK is not a secular country. The islamic vote is getting bigger and bigger every year.
In the past we have suffered from disloyal government which has produced a tinderbox of a divided people who are so easily divided and turned into a HATRED.
There is no place in 2024 for any wars in human civilization.
