I was trying to decide if I should purchase the Kaido house version because I was a bit worried if it was going to be bigger then 1/64 scale since the majority of Kaido house castings aren’t true to 1/64 scale and surprisingly this Chevy pickup by Mini GT is at 1/64 scale. 👍🏻

If somebody wanted to, could you resin cast the Kaido House Silverado bed and use it to replace the M2's annoying shallow bed?

I do like to chop and change like you, to make the best vehicle possible. I dislike slammed vehicles, so the shallow bed is something I hate too. Hopefully this slammed phase, will fade away and we can get back to stuck trucks as standard. Yes, you can hack something together, but nothing is quite as good, as a piece that was made to fit together from scratch. You can only do waht you can do, but the imperfections on some castings, are quite annoying. I guess it about making a casting affordable, but I would pay a little more for a deeper bed to be made, its not like they have to remake the whole truck. I also like my models to roll, I dont play with them as such, but we are all still boys at heart, so the fact that we could play with it, if we wanted, makes all the difference in the World. So I get why you go to such lengths, to get the wheels tyres and axles right.
