I cooked kheer for almost an hour and kept stirring frequently. I added only kishmish / resins. I did not add any rose water. And it tastes best when it is cold, after keeping in fridge for 3-4 hours. Very creamy!

It was just Rose Water . But if you don't like it , you don't have to and you can skip that .

If you are going to break rice grain into two to three pieces then why do you need to use long grain rice at first place?
H_Plus Long grain Rice has a better taste as well as aroma. you need that aroma which is an integral part of the dish.
