A friend of mine got backstage at a gig of theirs a couple of years ago. It was her birthday, and they gave her one of every bit of merch they were selling, signed whatever she wanted and posed for pics with her. Totally solid, nice dudes

I don't understand much about how music ownership works and stuff but my understanding was that the deal Tyler made just means that another company, run by his label has more control of the publishing of his music and tyler and his manager are advisors for that company so he gets a say in how they use it anyway. Fans are hoping that will lead to the release of an old album that isn't available on streaming platfors currenty due to a deal made with their label when they first signed but don't know how likeley that is.
My thirteen-year-old daughter wanted to go to a twenty one pilots concert and I wouldn't allow her to go alone, so I reluctantly bought a ticket for myself and went along. While it isn't my choice of music style, I was pleasantly surprised at the amazing talent of these two guys. I have since begun to listen to twenty one pilots, which has caused my daughter to move on because anything that I listen to must be un-cool.

I liked other songs from other albums more. but this album has none that i dislike at all. only one song from this did not hit my personal playlist

In August Tøp sold the rights to a bunch of their songs to Tempo Music Investments. Tyler and Josh still own all their songs, but that company can now use those songs however they want.
