Dig down to the deepest level of reality, the smallest things that exist, the building blocks of everything else. What do we find? What's there at the very bottom? That's what's 'fundamental'. Everything else is derivative, built up from the bottom. So what's there at the bottom? So what's fundamental?

I like laughlin. He’s straightforward, and calm.
Agree totally!
Calmness can sometimes be mistaken for expertise. At least he agrees that Einstein was correct 3:03 , he says Einstein's hypothesis is true and it works .......he would be a fool to disagree with Albert Einstein because there are so many things that we use relativity and special relativity for in our modern world . IT WORKS perfectly.
I like this guy.
This is exactly what I thought from very early on in this discussion
I really like this guest. There is an honesty at a level that is almost spiritual.
wow this guy is great, this really excited me. he didn't' over do it but still got me hooked, made me want to try and understand this,.
So beautiful this video, thank you so much!
What a cool guy!
This is deep.
So.... there are “certainly” ... unknown.... unknowns! I’d start the popcorn.... but I don’t think I’ll live to see the, twist filled, exciting conclusion! Damn. Born 100 yrs too early.
or maybe a thousand years too early?
for the very small cosmological constant, maybe opposite stuff that nearly cancels out ordinary matter is already there? as a base or background to ordinary matter in universe?
And just to make it it easier for you. Just type in reality is information on RUclips
How old is this interview really?
Nature itself is fundamental, also the alternation of Nature is fundamental.
One invisible wavelength loaded with information is the most fundamental coded language that gives us life experiences.
Gibberish.
@@trucid2 You have no idea how we're created and it's obvious you're not a chosen believer.
We have not discovered that "wavelength" yet but my speculation is that it exists and may be found, not on our lifetime thou
@@AtheistCook Invisible vibrations are the codex language of our Creator. Everything we experience was created in the thoughts of our Creator. Scientist's will never learn this fact.
@@BradHolkesvig that means faith, which is not the best option and full of snake oil salesman
my genetic structure is such that i want to know
lol
tor1302 I think that’s his way of saying “ I’m going to ask you a question I know scientist hate to answer but I have to “
I have my "speculator hat" on and what I don't know is the constancy of foundational things, etc. but I personally think/believe, by PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, GOD KNOWS.... BROTHER JAMES 🙏
GR is founded upon the principle of equivalence but we all know that the POE is false. And when he says that no physicists doubt GR, that is just nonsense. We KNOW that GR is not a complete description of gravity, this is not even controversial so what is he even talking about?!
black holes emit a "dark" matter / wave, similar to stars shine light?
I guess I missed that one.
Polarity and comparison. The fundamentals to conciousness.
I think.
Nonsense!
Say what? Care to explain?
@@yoyoma17
Our reality runs on polarity. Not only the physical world but our concious experience and our range of emotions.
Everything in this reality exists only in relation to everything else that isnt the same.
Conciousness needs to observe and then compare or it shrivel and dies and reality doesnt happen
The universal constants are the rule set of our game. He says nobody knows because he is still stuck in physical reality as being fundamental. Somebody knows. Please listen to this this is Tom Campbell‘s lectures maybe you might get it
Did you ever wonder why no physicists take Tom Campbell seriously, and why Campbell is only taken seriously by a cult following of laymen? Think about it...
Robert I love your show , I love how you question, but please please please get Tom Campbell on your show and let all these guys go back to their caveman thinking I know you will get it just question him the way you always do and it will make sense to you you are supremely intelligent you’re going to get it you’re going to come out of your belief of physical reality as fundamental because I know understanding consciousness has been the pursuit of your whole life, And this time it won’t be Monday Wednesday Friday you feel that consciousness is fundamental and Tuesday Thursday Saturday you don’t :)
Worldwide theory of the Gravity, I think it is not full complete yet, that's what I believe, I know most people won't be agree with me, 100Nu.
to think that einstein did not get a nobel for his general relativity is shocking. he had to lower himself to light a piece of metal to produce electicity to get the god damn prize. it must must have felt lonely
The fundamental element of the universe is divine consciousness. Those fundamental constants and laws are epiphenomena of this consciousness, as are spacetime and mass. Define energy? Consciousness is energy. Consult Max Planck.
Lol.
He's young earth creationist , that immediately has a cost to someones credibility. he's a crazy religious zealot.
A climate change denier who also doesn't know fundamental physics. OK. So what?
