I remember a strange Mandela effect involving the scene where cranky flips the jet engine’s switch in the episode Thomas & the jet engine. The shot was lower, and there were so many more pipes hoses and wires on the close up model than there were on the actual model. In short just a more detailed jet engine.
When I was a kid and watched misty island rescue, I could've sworn that Bash and Dash were the only logging locos. I always thought Ferdinand was just Gordon or Edward or something.
I have a few mandela effects, and all of them seemingly are from the Brenner Era: 1. I strongly remember Old Reliable Edward and The Adventure Begins took place at the same time, i think because of Edward helping Gordon up the hill. 2. In the episode Toad's Bright Idea i swear i saw James screaming past Percy there, and James crashing was actually shown. You gueesed it, this is due to Tale of The Brave. 3. I legit thought Daisy was a CGI exclusive character, as i had never seen her episodes prior. When i searched up in Google "Daisy in Model Series" i literally said "Wow cool edits" if i recall. 4. The night scene in "Helping Hiro" i remember it VERY differently, i think i remember it as it was Hiro and Rocky who rescued him and they arrived right at the track that leads to Thomas and not a track that is a bit further. 5. Henry and The Exprees and Henry Spots Trouble is the same episode, i have no idea why i think that.
Little Thomas mandela Effect i remember from my childhood I swear i remember Duck had a Moustache in his debut episode and in A Close Shave for Duck And he lost it in that episode
I had a kind of Mandela effect that in the Engine Roll Call, the scene of Gordon and Henry before the mv ends, I remembered that there was a version where they change tenders like in It's Good to be Gordon
I’ve only had two Mandela effects for ttte. The first was in Rusty to the Rescue, I swear for the life of me it Duke who Rusty was saving I even remember that it was the two of them crossing the bridge. The only episode is Gordon takes a short-cut, I could’ve sworn Gordon was racing Spencer in that episode not Stanley, I even remember an entire scene of Gordon and Spencer talking at a water tower.
I had something similar happen, I remember thinking that there was an episode where Thomas and another engine (likely Duck) raced across the island, and one of the shots was the watermill shot from the Season 8-10 Intro, likely because I thought that all the footage in the Intro for Season 8-10 was possibly used in some episode (funnily enough, the windmill shot was actually used in Thomas and The Jet Plane, the episode that introduced Jeremy The Plane)
For the longest time I thought that all the episodes featured on the start your engines dvd were actually from series 20. Also thanks to my dvd of the great discovery being scratched causing it to skip loads and cause i had the story libary book where things are a bit different I thought Thomas first met stanley when he passed him and Gordon pulling annie and Clarabel not at the washdown. Also I didn't realise that Thomas was on a raft when the mine was flooded and thought the water was just pulling him away. I didn't know that the whole montage scene of everyone talking about Thomas' accident in Thomas and the rainbow even existed as well
Probably an episode order thing, but as a kid, I thought Percy was introduced + The Flying Kipper accident happened in Season 2, and that Duck + The Twins were introduced in Season 3
Two I've had are: .Thinking The Other Side Of The Mountain was from series 20 and thinking it was an extended episode. .There actually being a scene where Emily is forced to be careful due to a leaf on the line by Bradford in Bradford the Brake Van.
I have a strange one. I very vividly remember the book story for “whistles and sneezes” ending with Gordon unable to fix his whistle because “simply no-one did it”. I have very vivid memories of reading this ending and I was shocked when I realised that I must have made it up.
A mandela effect i had is that when i first listened to the Engine Roll Call song, I thought Thomas had cylinders and big wheels.... Only to realize that those we're actually Gordon's wheels.
One of my Thomas Mandela effect is when I watch the woolly bear as a kid. I though that in the episode they took Percy’s face off and replaced it with a new one and the scene where Percy looks in the mirror I misremembered it as Percy looking at his old face
I don’t remember many of my Mandela effects, but I do just remember one of them today. As a kid, whenever I watched Keeping Up with James, I used to think that when Sir Topham Hatt is telling James and Edward off, the scene would cut to a shot of the crash with James looking sad after the crash, and then cut back to Sir Topham Hatt, the best way I can describe it is that it was basically a wide shot from the scene when the camera pans out of James’ face. except James is wearing his sad face instead of his worried face.
I don't know if this was just me, but in the opening shot of bulldog next to the sheds i could've swore, i saw duncan next to the sheds but he was facing away from the camera
a mandela effect i have experience was in King Of The Railway. when we first see milly the coach she is pulling was red but how i remembered it was that it was blue.
A Mandela effect I have is with the first Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs movie. When Flint was about to jam the machine with his spray-on shoes, instead of saying “When it rains, you put on a coat” I thought he had said “Here! You want some?!”
I coulda sworn as a kid there was an episode where Donald and Douglas removed their tenders and just...did their work without their tenders😭I never read the RWS as a kid, so I didn't know about The Missing Coach. I guess I kinda came to that conclusion either when Donald's tender was messed up after crashing into the signalbox in Break Van, or because all of the Twins' toys allowed their tenders to be uncoupled from the engine, or probably both
In James In A Mess (now my favorite Thomas episode not Old Iron like the time of my old Mandela effect) I saw and thought the scenes of James' runaway looked different then they did now. An example is I remeber the shot of james slidding down the curved hill set with the cottage had a big white fence in the for ground, and that the camera was placed at a muchncloser angle than the scene really was filmed, andI don't remeber seeing the tracking shot of James in his runaway either. And I remebr the shots of James laughing in Old Iron were also different, and I never made the connection that Crosby was the station they stopped at, and still I didn't make that connection until maybe a few years ago when these mandela effects occured when I was about 6 or 7. And another thing was I remember the best of James having nameboards, and I never realized that the best of James even had transitions like the other best of dvds. And the final mandela effect was I remeber the whistle scene of Gordon in Whistles and Sneezes to be very different from the actual version. What I remeberd a as Gordon raced though a station with curved platforms that had white fences and a white footbridge on them, and Thomas with Annie and Clarabel was present instead of Henry and Edward. Also I remembered the runaway theme playing instead of Gordon's theme, the Gordon's hill scenes were missing, and I remeber Thomas was laughing at Gordon.
Him and a few other engines wobbled a lot in Arc's Series 17 animation. It's very apparent for Charlie in Not Now Charlie in the scenes where he's moving slowly.
When I was younger , i always thought there was a Stanley episode , when I was 8 tho I looked up on the Thomas wiki and realized " holy wackamole , Stanley did absolutely nothing " but than it turns out I confused with the video where he went to space
•When the Logging Locos were first revealed, I could’ve sworn they had outside cylinders and stovepipe chimneys •Also, when the BMM trailer was first shown, it was Ivo Hugh instead of Luke, green paint scheme and all
My biggest Mandela effect I had for many years was from the end of “Home at Last” As a kid and for many years I always thought that Michael Angelis said that Duncan remained “completely silent for at least a whole week” but after reading the book and watching the US dub did I realise that the line was “and he remained completely silent for at least a whole evening” but the weirdest thing is I can still hear the word “week” in the UK version. Maybe it’s a Yanny and Laurel situation
I have a similar case with “Bulls Eyes”, at the end, I always think Daisy said “Keep your old bulls eye!” or something like that, I can even hear her saying “Keep your old bulls eye!” it in American dub, so now I don’t know which one is correct, it’s either “Keep your old bulls eye!” or “Keep your own bulls eye!” that is correct, and to add on to that, when I was younger, I thought she said “Keep your old bull size!” 😭
When I was little, I remember watching James goes too far and the effect hit me when James waits behind Thomas at the water tower. In the panning shot where Thomas says he has to go first, I thought he had his smiling face for his wharf scale prop.
I could’ve sworn Duck appeared in the background of Welcome Staford during the scene at the charging station, I thought he was up on the bridge. I also have this weird memory of some episode with James at Tidmouth Bay but it was lit like the Smelters and there was this alarm going off (I was probably combining TATMR with the ending of Make Someone Happy and somehow got an alarm mixed in there)
One mandela effect I had was that that there was an episode with a female narrator, I would have been 4 at the time and I had a collection of classic thomas dvds, anyhow, the mandela effect I had was where there was a scene of thomas like in the outro/credits (same angles and everything and thomas had the same smile face) however, thomas was covered in white powder and his shocked face appeared and there was a female narrator that said "Bust my buffers! Said Thomas.", now I dont know if I combined the shots of the credits with the sneezing powder scene from TATMR, but I have vivid memories of this happening which is strange, unless I somehow witnessed an unaired pilot? But who knows?
A really minor Mandela Effect about Cranky Bugs, but I never remember there being a seagull on Cranky all the time. Whenever I see the episode now, the little seagull on top of him is really distracting! I also thought Trust Thomas from Season 3 was a secret episode of Season 5 that was somehow missing from my VHS, as the cover of the Season 5 video tape depicted Thomas being rescued with chains securing him, and the toad on his buffer-beam. I’m also relieved to see I wasn’t the only one who thought James was female when they were younger!
To be honest that was probably what caused me to think they were female. But I remember watching Thomas before seeing the film (my childhood copy of TATMR was DVD, but I mostly had VHS), so who knows?
I deadass had the biggest Mandella Effect when it came to Thomas Comes to Breakfast: First: I swear The Stationmaster's Wife threw her plate at Thomas Second: I thought Donald and Douglas took turns pulling Thomas out until both worked together to get him out Third: I thought when Fatty was reprimanding Thomas, the bush moved as if his mouth was moving it And then when I rewatched it after being scared of it for nearly a decade (because of bro's face), I realized how horribly wrong I was
1. possible 2. could be possible 3. looks like it could've been a part of the episode 4. Alternate looking shot 5. Another one that could be possible say Gordon is thinking, "Wow Rocky IS Strong!" 6. I can see how that could be confusing
My mother language Is spanish, and I strongly remember that I have seen the "Gordon and the famous visitor" in the latin spanish dub, but now I just came to find out that episode never had a Spanish dub
I have my own thomas mandella effect In "a friend in need," where Jack is struggling to hold the bridge from collapsing, the narrator says "Finally, Thomas's driver backed him to safety" I remember that scene never existed and just cut to Kelly racing to help Jack.
I kinda have a mandela effect on the intro of Thomas and friends the season 1 to 7 one. In the end of the theme song i remember there was a close shot of Thomas. I know its weird i think it just came from a video im not sure.
While I don't have many mandela effects that I experienced of my own, I do have one that I unintentionally created myself... I remember in one episode, Sidney is told to remember what job he has to do by singing a little song that reminds him what he's doing, and after a conversation with Gordon, he forgets the lyrics to it. For some reason, I convinced myself that in the scene directly after his talk with Gordon where he realizes he forgot the words to the song, his eyes went in opposite directions when he tells himself he forgot. Also, I misremembered the episode in question being a Series 15/16 one. I swear I remember seeing it in that specific undercooked animation style of the Nitrogen era, with the shoddy lighting and weirdly muted color palette, but no.
I have a weird Mandela effect where I swear when I was a little kid I remember watching the Percy's Chocolate Crunch US VHS release and I vividly remember Edward's Brass Band not only being on it but dubbed by Alec Baldwin. I remember it being the episode directly after the namesake episode, and I even vaguely remember the episode ending and the transition to Thomas, Percy, and the Squeak
I could have sworn that during the chase in TATMR, in the scene where Diesel 10, Thomas, and Lady enter the tunnel, Diesel 10 said mummy's hungry. I don't know why I remember him saying that though.
1 Mandela effect I had: Before my mom was gonna put on some music From the album she made for me (which had a list of Thomas songs back in the time) Somehow and I mean somehow The radio was actually talking about Thomas the tank engine And right before she played the music, The radio said words along the lines of "Thomas the tank engine starts. Right now" The craziest timing
I have SEVERAL Mandela Effects, many of which stem from the model era; 1. I used to think that there was a scene of Peter Sam chuffing away from the station with a sad face in “The Refreshment Lady's Teashop”, I think it was between the shots of the close up shot of him with his sad face and the storm sequence, and thinking about it now, the fact that said scene wasn’t in the episode makes it feel like something’s missing in my opinion.. 2. I thought Thomas was the one who said “Diesels never galavant off to breakfast, in Stationmaster’s houses!” instead of The Fat Controller, which makes no sense as like, if it was Thomas who was saying it, wouldn’t the voice be muffled? Unless he was saying it in his head… 3. In the Misty Island Rescue book illustrated by Tommy Stubbs, I thought there were books inside of the front hole thingy in Dash, in illustration 16 I believe? 4. In “A Better View for Gordon”, I thought that it showed Gordon with his aghast face hitting the buffers and climbing onto the platform before showing the crash, it was the same angle as how it is in the original episode, but it didn’t zoom in or show some split second shots with the wall I think. 5. I thought the “Make Your Own Thomas Storybook” bonus feature from the “The Greatest Stories” and “Track Stars” releases was basically like making a custom Thomas & Friends story (like for example: making a story where an engine crashes into a brakevan), however, since 2022, I have since found out that it’s just “new engine comes to help and eveyone is happy yayyyy” 6. I thought Rock-n-Roll took place BEFORE Home At Last, likely due to the episode order on the Complete Series 4 DVD 7. I thought that all of the 2012 rereleases had different menus compared to what they actually are, I think it was like the Hero Of The Rails theme in the background with the backdrop being similar to how it is on the Complete Series 13-20 DVDs, and the opening I think was similar to how the Hero Of The Rails US DVD Menu opens up, yeah, a very strange one.. 8. Speaking of Complete Series DVDs, since the Series 1-7 Complete Series DVDs from 2010 and 2012 had the New Series Intro, I thought that Series 8-12 would be the opposite, using the Classic Series Theme instead, and honestly, it actually sounds kinda funny thinking about it now, not like laughable kind of funny, but you get what I mean (Note: I might be making all these up since my memory is pretty faded, soooo take all of this with a grain of salt will ya?)
You don't know how surprised I was when I learned that Bertie is actually a guy - in my native language Bertie is ,,Bercia" and is like an old woman. And I was today years old when I learned that Old Slow Coach is actually a woman
in gordon takes a tumble i always thought he was pulling green coaches, not red. ig its because he ALWAYS has the green ones,my mind js went to him pulling green coaches. then in percys chocolate crunch i could have sworn thomas, edward, henry, gordon and james all said something to percy even thought rewatching it last year edwards not there. these are the only mandela effects and i thinks its only on these 2 bc i have the percys chocolate crunch dvd 🤷♂
I have two. In Neville's debut, I could have sworn that the fact Neville sort of looks like a diesel was an integral part of the plot. Of course, that wasn't really mentioned in the episode and I'm not sure where that idea came from. The other was in James & the Express. When Gordon returns, I thought James' line was "Well that was fast, is it tomorrow?" As opposed to "Hello Gordon,..."
Me too! I also somehow thought his personality was worried, and the only reason i thought so was because of a ripoff version of the Naughty Railway roblox game
Something I always thought was that Sir Handel still made some occasional appearances after S4 (no major roles, but just cameos) a specific memory was that Sir Handel appeared in the last scene of Faulty Whistles (next to Rusty) but it wasn’t the case, but I still like to think that, also for a short while, I thought Duck and Diesel were introduced in S1, I also thought Percy was a girl when I was younger cuz he seemed feminine to me, and I also thought BoCo was female, because of the line in Wrong Road: “he was the most beautiful sight he had ever seen” and i didn’t know ppl could be gay, so I thought he was a girl lol
I remember watching The engine roll call and the scene from Hiro of the rails when James and Toby rush out of whistling woods i thought Hito was Daisy or Boco as he had patchwork on him. Yeah i have more but right now i can't remember i will edit to add more
Two I’ve had were: 1. In my childhood thinking James was female Bc of the episode tickled pink and young me thinking pink was for girls only and his TATMR voice. 2. Thinking Thomas comes to breakfast and Thomas and the special letter being the same episode 💀
I used to have a strange memory of “Henry Sees Red” being an actual episode for the model TV series, but I’ve never found it. I think my memory of the story is from an old adaptation by Thomas1Edward2Henry3, but I pretty vividly remember Michael Angelis’ narration for that episode. (I also thought Percy was a girl for a lot of my childhood)
I have two Thomas Mandela effects. The first one is from The Diseasel. When Bill meets BoCo for the first time, I could’ve sworn that I heard George Carlin say “Bill pretended to be frightened“ but he actually says “Bill pretended not to be frightened.” My last one is from Dirty Objects. There was an alternate scene of James crashing into the tar wagons shown at a different angle which I remember seeing on the Troublesome Trucks music video. As a kid, I thought I owned a vhs with the episode on it that had that alternate scene of the crash shown on it, but I didn’t.
I had a false memory of A Bad Day For Harold The Helicopter. I thought Harold finishes the episode by saying "that's what friends are for" when I watched it at a young age. Only to realise watching it much later in life that he says that much earlier in the episode, and it's Percy who says it at the end
For whatever reason, I thought faulty whistles was a season 7 episode despite being on the Percy’s Chocolate Crunch dvd which has season 6 episodes and Alec Baldwin’s narration, Michael Brandon didn’t even redub the episode WTH
I used to have a few Mandela effects with some Disney/Pixar movies when I was younger. In the movie “Inside Out”, I falsely remembered that when Joy, Sadness and Bing-bong went into the Abstract thoughts machine and went into stage 2, before Bing-bong deconstructed, he ran off from the group whilst crying from fear. But when I rewatched the movie, he didn’t cry and instead panicked. In the movie “Big Hero 6”, I falsely remembered Tamago having an extra set of blades on her forearms, and used all 4 in a quadrupedal position. But when I saw the movie again, she only had 2 blades on the sides of her boots. (P.s. I actually hate that movie, not offending anybody or anything) In the SpongeBob episode “The Great Snail Race”, I falsely remembered that, when Gary crashes into the wall and explodes after losing control, a bunch of ambulances and fire trucks flock to the scene. But when I rewatched the episode, it was only 2 firemen who arrived and extinguish the fire with fire extinguishers.
Oh, if we're going off mandelas, I have an entire episode that doesn't exist. At least, most of it. I don't remember the beginning, but what I do remember is the Skarloey engines racing through a woodland set with all these tracks going in one direction straight out of season 6. Duncan then... sank into a puddle. No shots of the track giving way or anything. He just sank into the oddly liquidy mud. Then the ending of Dunkin Duncan played to show he was alright. No idea if there was any narration or sound though. If I'm being honest, I think this might've been from a dream.
Ok so my brother and I distinctly misremember a separate George Carlin dub of Cranky Bugs, specifically a calmer delivery of the “Heeeeeelp! I caaaaaaan’t!” line. Edit: Thought of another one. I misremembered Mavis being in Double Teething Troubles instead of BoCo, and the character’s line being “Stop BICKERING, you two” in the UK.
The only Mandela effect I have was in Harvey To The Rescue. Where percy was with the trucks, gordon was on the right and he crashed with the trucks falling to the bridge.
Not Thomas related but one Mandela effect I had was from the SpongeBob episode Wet Painters. When Mr Krabs sees his first dollar is ruined and says “you know what that means!?” SpongeBob says “you mean our butts?” And Patrick says “can I use mine one last time?” I SWEAR he hugged his butt but in the episode he never does that
I did have a few of them………. 1. Happened when I watched the movie Bolt on Disney channel years ago , I thought I saw a scene from the movie where Bolt attacked the actor who played Dr. Calico before he escaped from the set, but when I rewatched the film again years later , the scene wasn’t there, it wasn’t even in the deleted scenes. 2. Happened again in the Thomas episode Toby’s tightrope , when I watched it for the first time years ago, during the scene where mavis saves Toby, she was facing front while pulling Toby to safety, but seeing it now, she’s at a side angle while pulling Toby to safety. 3. There was this oh yeah cartoons short involving this anthromorphic animal ( can’t remember what animal) who’s pet goldfish got sucked down the drain during bath time, so he jumped down the drain to go and save him, I tried looking it up, but found little information .
I also thought Madge and Old Slow Coach were male, I learnt of the former in a video from Thomas Wooden Railway (I think his Merlin introduction episode), I thought they kept Thomas sticking up for Gordon in Paint Pots and Queens adaptation, and one that was much later that I knew I was wrong but still felt true was Percy and Toby being Season Two characters. Others I am sure.
A Mandela effect my brother has is the Netflix version of The Greatest Stories, back when ttte was on Netflix, being the george Carlin one, but with the uk script, like him saying “and was careful never to be cheeky to Gordon again” and “fine, I will”
Here's a big Mandela Effect for me. I thought that "The Early Years" was Ringo Starr's US Dub of Season 1 but no it's the UK dub. But i remember it using American terminology.
I have a clear memory of a season 2 style episode where Bertie and Bulgy were talking to each other outside of Tidmouth Station. Bulgy were on the viewers left and Bertie on the viewers right. I know it does not exist, but the memory feels very real. Also, in my country (Norway), seasons 1-5 had a female narrator, so many of the characters gave of feminine vibes, like Edward, Henry, James, Toby, Donald, Douglas, Skarloey, Rheneas, SH, PS, Rusty and Bertie.
I have this one Mandela effect. (It’s for Barney & Friends believe it or not.) You know this voice actor Dean Wendt? I always thought that Barney was always voiced by him, but NOPE! There were more.
@@jalyntate7965 I was originally going to use the shot of him from the scene of him tricking Thomas, but the shot of him from Horrid Lorry was a little closer to what my vision of the scene was. The only differences would be the face and the angle being flipped.
Tobias and the Arcane Merchant was phucking insane bruh.
It's called short term memory loss
It was absolute fire 🔥🔥🔥
Is it bad that(spoiler alert)
I was literally praying for James to die?
i am half me half tobias
Thomas got his ass beat
I remember a strange Mandela effect involving the scene where cranky flips the jet engine’s switch in the episode Thomas & the jet engine. The shot was lower, and there were so many more pipes hoses and wires on the close up model than there were on the actual model. In short just a more detailed jet engine.

5. Henry and The Exprees and Henry Spots Trouble is the same episode, i have no idea why i think that.
Daisy's makeup did look like an edit.
Very interesting
1st one is probably because Old Reliable Edward was on the US DVD of The Adventure Begins as a bonus feature.
@CreativeTankEngine Same in the UK
Little Thomas mandela Effect i remember from my childhood
I swear i remember Duck had a Moustache in his debut episode and in A Close Shave for Duck
And he lost it in that episode
same, the mustache feels like it it had to be there
It would be a pretty funny detail
Okay that is just strange
I used to think Spencer had a mustache too
I remember mrs kyndley's christmas being a full adapted episode and not just a flashback in thomas's christmas party
SAME!
I thought it was too😂
I had a kind of Mandela effect that in the Engine Roll Call, the scene of Gordon and Henry before the mv ends, I remembered that there was a version where they change tenders like in It's Good to be Gordon
I’m being 100% serious when I say that I remember that too. I swear on my life.
YO I REMEMBER THAT TOO
Same here.
Oh my God, me too
Maybe it was a fan made remake
I’ve only had two Mandela effects for ttte. The first was in Rusty to the Rescue, I swear for the life of me it Duke who Rusty was saving I even remember that it was the two of them crossing the bridge. The only episode is Gordon takes a short-cut, I could’ve sworn Gordon was racing Spencer in that episode not Stanley, I even remember an entire scene of Gordon and Spencer talking at a water tower.
Duke The Bluebell Engine
I remember that in the HIT era, Arthur had an episode were he and Thomas were standing in the woods.

Also I could swear a children's favourites dvd had Thomas and the circus on it but actually had Thomas and the firework display.
I feel like I remembered that shocked Gordon shot too.
Used to think when Diesel 10 went in the tunnel in TATMR, Pinchy fell off, but I still remember the scene of Pinchy holding the track at the end???
Probably an episode order thing, but as a kid, I thought Percy was introduced + The Flying Kipper accident happened in Season 2, and that Duck + The Twins were introduced in Season 3
I had the same with Duck, I always thought he was introduced in S3
Two I've had are:
.Thinking The Other Side Of The Mountain was from series 20 and thinking it was an extended episode.
.There actually being a scene where Emily is forced to be careful due to a leaf on the line by Bradford in Bradford the Brake Van.
Honestly that sounds like something Bradford would do lol
@@Mattblox8080 Emily does actually state in the episode that it happens, but it was never actually shown.
I thought The Other Side of the Mountain was a Season 20 episode as well
This is such an interesting video. It's cool to see how others proceed with what's happening in the show compared to how I see it. Great content, man.

One of my Thomas Mandela effect is when I watch the woolly bear as a kid. I though that in the episode they took Percy’s face off and replaced it with a new one and the scene where Percy looks in the mirror I misremembered it as Percy looking at his old face
My Mandela effect was for Duncan Gets Spooked, where the episode took place on the standard gauge railway, and the pack characters were in it.
I swear that in Trust Thomas, the toad that's looking at Thomas said something after his crash
"Thank you Thomas, but our princess is in another castle."
@@sammyclark4992”FUUUU-”

a mandela effect i have experience was in King Of The Railway. when we first see milly the coach she is pulling was red but how i remembered it was that it was blue.
I remember I thought there was a scene in A Better View For Gordon where i thought Edward pulled Gordon out of the Station
Could be mixing it up with Gordon takes charge where Edward does this
A Mandela effect I have is with the first Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs movie.
Why do I imagine the Whistles and Sneezes one to be a deleted scene-
One false memory I had was seeing the Britt Allcroft company logo right before the Season 6 intro.
I think it was a sneak peek to an alternate universe..
Awesome Job Also Happy Christmas Eve Sammy
i used to think charlie wobbled when he moved (i.e. like duck, apparently) because of that play time episode
•When the Logging Locos were first revealed, I could’ve sworn they had outside cylinders and stovepipe chimneys
•Also, when the BMM trailer was first shown, it was Ivo Hugh instead of Luke, green paint scheme and all
My biggest Mandela effect I had for many years was from the end of “Home at Last” As a kid and for many years I always thought that Michael Angelis said that Duncan remained “completely silent for at least a whole week” but after reading the book and watching the US dub did I realise that the line was “and he remained completely silent for at least a whole evening” but the weirdest thing is I can still hear the word “week” in the UK version.
The Silent For The Whole Week Happened To Me As Well…
I always thought toby was a part of the steam team, like I remember actually seeing him in a new shed birth at tidmouth.
When I was little, I remember watching James goes too far and the effect hit me when James waits behind Thomas at the water tower. In the panning shot where Thomas says he has to go first, I thought he had his smiling face for his wharf scale prop.
I swear there was a scene in Cranky Bugs were Cranky complains about being stuck in 1 place but that just doesn't exist
I used to think that Thomas lost his funnel in Misty Island Tunnel. I don’t know why though.
He kinda did mentally 😂
I could’ve sworn Duck appeared in the background of Welcome Staford during the scene at the charging station, I thought he was up on the bridge.
I also have this weird memory of some episode with James at Tidmouth Bay but it was lit like the Smelters and there was this alarm going off (I was probably combining TATMR with the ending of Make Someone Happy and somehow got an alarm mixed in there)
I straight up thought they adapted triple header in season 2
Great video and Happy Christmas.
For me Bill and Ben having white buffer similar to bust my buffer episode in great discovery
I was thinking about the 1953 henry pilot until you mentioned you had classic dvds
With the Edward strikes out one, you were tripping mad balls if you hallucinated Gordon’s face being shocked instead of concerned
@crazydaysinfinte I was tripping mad balls when I thought all of the American narrators were the same person until 2014.
@ that’s just straight up drugs
A really minor Mandela Effect about Cranky Bugs, but I never remember there being a seagull on Cranky all the time. Whenever I see the episode now, the little seagull on top of him is really distracting!
I also thought Trust Thomas from Season 3 was a secret episode of Season 5 that was somehow missing from my VHS, as the cover of the Season 5 video tape depicted Thomas being rescued with chains securing him, and the toad on his buffer-beam.
I’m also relieved to see I wasn’t the only one who thought James was female when they were younger!
@@DiscoDoctorJames and Percy were voiced by a woman in TATMR who also did Sailor Moon.
To be honest that was probably what caused me to think they were female. But I remember watching Thomas before seeing the film (my childhood copy of TATMR was DVD, but I mostly had VHS), so who knows?
i used to thought there is a small number 1 on Stanley’s front coal bunker just like Skarloey
I deadass had the biggest Mandella Effect when it came to Thomas Comes to Breakfast:
First: I swear The Stationmaster's Wife threw her plate at Thomas
Second: I thought Donald and Douglas took turns pulling Thomas out until both worked together to get him out
Third: I thought when Fatty was reprimanding Thomas, the bush moved as if his mouth was moving it
And then when I rewatched it after being scared of it for nearly a decade (because of bro's face), I realized how horribly wrong I was
The stationmaster's wife throwing her plate at Thomas sounds lowkey funny as hell.
1. possible
2. could be possible
3. looks like it could've been a part of the episode
4. Alternate looking shot
5. Another one that could be possible say Gordon is thinking, "Wow Rocky IS Strong!"
6. I can see how that could be confusing
Okay when I was young I thought I saw Arthur in some nitrogen episode somewhere but I don’t know what it could’ve been
Mine was Faulty Whistles being in the Percy's Chocolate Crunch DVD
My mother language Is spanish, and I strongly remember that I have seen the "Gordon and the famous visitor" in the latin spanish dub, but now I just came to find out that episode never had a Spanish dub
I have my own thomas mandella effect
In "a friend in need," where Jack is struggling to hold the bridge from collapsing, the narrator says
"Finally, Thomas's driver backed him to safety"
I remember that scene never existed and just cut to Kelly racing to help Jack.
I kinda have a mandela effect on the intro of Thomas and friends the season 1 to 7 one. In the end of the theme song i remember there was a close shot of Thomas. I know its weird i think it just came from a video im not sure.
My mandela affect was when I thought rusty had a twin
Dusty
Lmao
"You were right without knowing it." said Midlander.
I strangely remember the Gumball episode "The Genius" being episode 2, but it was actually episode 32.
As a kid, I always thought Rheneas was Red and Norman was Orange.
They are
@@masterJ2004but I’ve seen some fan stories referring to Rheneas as Orange and Norman as Red
@toby.fan9198 thats the thing, theyre fan stories. Norman is orange, and i think rheneas is also orange.
Interesting concept, merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
I remember season 12 having model scenes and full cgi scenes when I was 3
I have a weird Mandela effect where I swear when I was a little kid I remember watching the Percy's Chocolate Crunch US VHS release and I vividly remember Edward's Brass Band not only being on it but dubbed by Alec Baldwin. I remember it being the episode directly after the namesake episode, and I even vaguely remember the episode ending and the transition to Thomas, Percy, and the Squeak
I’m trying to remember any Mandela effects from Thomas and I can’t really remember any of them that weren’t either goofs or color grading
4:47 *wait I actually remember you told me about this when I uploaded the Strength song in high and low pitch about a year ago 🤯🤯🤯*
You were the first person to know that wasn't me.
@sammyclark4992 and at this point I guess even whoever watched that video AND read your comment ended up knowing it way before you made this vid
I have SEVERAL Mandela Effects, many of which stem from the model era;
Unless he was saying it in his head…
5. I thought the “Make Your Own Thomas Storybook” bonus feature from the “The Greatest Stories” and “Track Stars” releases was basically like making a custom Thomas & Friends story (like for example: making a story where an engine crashes into a brakevan), however, since 2022, I have since found out that it’s just “new engine comes to help and eveyone is happy yayyyy”
6. I thought Rock-n-Roll took place BEFORE Home At Last, likely due to the episode order on the Complete Series 4 DVD
8. Speaking of Complete Series DVDs, since the Series 1-7 Complete Series DVDs from 2010 and 2012 had the New Series Intro, I thought that Series 8-12 would be the opposite, using the Classic Series Theme instead, and honestly, it actually sounds kinda funny thinking about it now, not like laughable kind of funny, but you get what I mean
(Note: I might be making all these up since my memory is pretty faded, soooo take all of this with a grain of salt will ya?)
I have a Mandela effect
in it’s only snow for the longest time I remember Michael saying
Edward was right it did snow when he doesn’t
Yeah i have more but right now i can't remember i will edit to add more
Huh, I too thought Gordon had a Shocked face when Rocky lifted him
Two I’ve had were:
1. In my childhood thinking James was female Bc of the episode tickled pink and young me thinking pink was for girls only and his TATMR voice.
2. Thinking Thomas comes to breakfast and Thomas and the special letter being the same episode 💀
Thomas and The Special Breakfast
I used to have a strange memory of “Henry Sees Red” being an actual episode for the model TV series, but I’ve never found it. I think my memory of the story is from an old adaptation by Thomas1Edward2Henry3, but I pretty vividly remember Michael Angelis’ narration for that episode. (I also thought Percy was a girl for a lot of my childhood)
Ok but what about the red stripe between Edward's boiler and smokebox that doesnt actually exist
My Mandela effect was Thomas was pulling Annie & Clarabel with a Brake Van in a Season 8 Episode when he was leaving Maron wearing his concerned face
Ringo said "Bill pretended to be frightened" George Carlin just said it incorrectly.
(P.s. I actually hate that movie, not offending anybody or anything)
In the SpongeBob episode “The Great Snail Race”, I falsely remembered that, when Gary crashes into the wall and explodes after losing control, a bunch of ambulances and fire trucks flock to the scene.
My Mandela effect was Arthur being in the nitrogen era
Does anyone else remember sammy clark's mandela effect video? I swear he made one
Awesome video.
i remember watching isabella gets steamed fsr (it never got filmed)
Most likely Mud Glorious Mud footage except you dreamed it so it was heavily altered
@@masterJ2004 yes inevitably bc the only jack dvd i have is thomas trusty friends
The only Mandela effect I have was in Harvey To The Rescue.
Where percy was with the trucks, gordon was on the right and he crashed with the trucks falling to the bridge.
Not Thomas related but one Mandela effect I had was from the SpongeBob episode Wet Painters. When Mr Krabs sees his first dollar is ruined and says “you know what that means!?” SpongeBob says “you mean our butts?” And Patrick says “can I use mine one last time?” I SWEAR he hugged his butt but in the episode he never does that
Very Interesting!🌟
My Mandela effect was that I thought mighty mac were able to separate due to me seeing shots the wrong way
I also thought Madge and Old Slow Coach were male, I learnt of the former in a video from Thomas Wooden Railway (I think his Merlin introduction episode), I thought they kept Thomas sticking up for Gordon in Paint Pots and Queens adaptation, and one that was much later that I knew I was wrong but still felt true was Percy and Toby being Season Two characters.
I had a mandela effect that there were hit era model promos of connor and caitlin
I have a clear memory of a season 2 style episode where Bertie and Bulgy were talking to each other outside of Tidmouth Station. Bulgy were on the viewers left and Bertie on the viewers right. I know it does not exist, but the memory feels very real.
Also, in my country (Norway), seasons 1-5 had a female narrator, so many of the characters gave of feminine vibes, like Edward, Henry, James, Toby, Donald, Douglas, Skarloey, Rheneas, SH, PS, Rusty and Bertie.
my thomas mandella affect was i thought thomas tried to pull henry out of the tunnel
I have this one Mandela effect. (It’s for Barney & Friends believe it or not.) You know this voice actor Dean Wendt? I always thought that Barney was always voiced by him, but NOPE! There were more.
For the longest time in my childhood, I thought Percy was female
Same but James
Same here
Curious George having a tail
In your mockup thing for Cranky Bugs, the picture is Cranky is from Horrid Lorry, but it works too.
@@jalyntate7965 I was originally going to use the shot of him from the scene of him tricking Thomas, but the shot of him from Horrid Lorry was a little closer to what my vision of the scene was. The only differences would be the face and the angle being flipped.
