    Thanks, I have a full house to do so some good tips here. I like the clamps idea but not sure how i can do that in a large room as the clamps wouldn't go across the room. I plan to paint the skirting before I fit it and just touch up where I need to.

      So I've got a couple of longer ones that extend to 2m. But all you need to do is use a length of wood to make up difference. Works perfectly!

    hey guys, I live in Long Branch NJ, I thought your work was amazing. I started my sand flooring company in 2023. Would you have any tips on how or where to get more work? any store I can go to?

      Maybe do some free work for friends and family and get them to spread the word of how good you are!

    Great video. What paint colour did you use for the walls?

    • @Sunday_Builds
      @Sunday_Builds  10 месяцев назад

      Thank you. The colour is Farrow and Ball - Slipper Satin. Same colour for the walls, skirting board and architraves.

    How to run baseboard when you have 3 weeks to complete each room. That's some gorgeous work, but you're either starving or you only work for the Illuminati. 😂

      Yes, that was painfully slow and he never actually showed any of the marking or cutting of the skirting!😂
      In the UK that's a butt and scribe joint not a coped.

      @@clamflaps If you know what you are doing you can have both, if he was getting paid on what he had done he would be very poor, if the customer was paying a day rate they would be over paying!

    Hammer and
    Nail phobia and anti-nailguns ?
    All that flaffing around with tape, get a little painters pail , cold water, little sponge or nice cotton rag and you wipe you calk ( don’t wipe your calk to vigorously or pull funny faces during)
    Thank me later 👍🏻

      These are all solid masonry walls!
      I just enjoy trying to get the most perfect finish. All other options still leave a caulk smear in my opinion.

    • @Dazza19746
      @Dazza19746 3 месяца назад

      Doesn’t matter whether they are solid or not! Sds drill!
      ‘Oh I don’t want a big screw hole to fill!’
      You put the nails in skirt first, tap nail into plaster, drill mark left by nail… pop in a plug .. re a fix skirt and drive nails home… punch under…. Slightly overfill holes and sand flush when dry 🤷
      Caulk in dry and neat, wipe clean with sponge or chux cloth regularly dipped and squeezed in water, caulk will not stay in areas you don’t want it.
      More listening and less giving ‘tips’ is the order of the day I think.
