20+ Las Vegas Metro Police Department SWAT Units Responding Code 3 To a Barricaded Murder Suspect

- On September 7th, 2022. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as well as their Detectives were conducting a search warrant on a murder suspect Robert Telles. Robert Telles Stabbed a Local Journalist to Death. Telles Killed Jeff German outside German’s Home. Upon further investigation on the search warrant, LVMPD and Detectives confirmed Telles was inside his residence. He was armed with a knife which he would later use on himself. LVMPD requested SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) ARMOR (All-Hazard Regional Multi-Agency Operations and Response) and CNT (Crisis Negotiation Team) SWAT and CNT quickly responded to the scene in attempt to get Telles out peacefully. Shortly after all units arrived Telles stabbed himself several times. ARMOR and SWAT made entry and were able to take Telles into custody. Las Vegas Fire and Rescue was staged and brought in to transport Telles to UMC Trauma Center. Telles has since recovered and was transported to Clark County Detention Center.
