Omg that was absolute perfection. So graceful elegant wonderful beautiful idk how many other adjectives I could use. Is there a step by step because I'd be down.
I haven’t even joined guard yet, auditions are in two weeks. I am not skilled by any means, but I just came here to commend you on this beautiful solo. The way your body flowed with the flag was phenomenal.
I hope that one day I can become as skilled as you, man. I just joined my high school's colorguard, (haven't even got equipment yet) and this inspired me even more to commit to it!
UPDATE: I have graduated high school, and now have 3 years of experience in flag and one year in rifle. Currently working towards auditioning for a DCI corps in 2021 :)
@@jocelynrangel7204 You should definitely join! It was hard at first, but so is every other sport and competitive art. It's really rewarding as well, so I you should totally sign up!
Me only being in colorgard for one season and thinking I could choreograph shows. Then comes across this video and realizes how am I ever going to get that good.
This performance is more graceful then i will ever be. It is just completely stunning and i hope to achieve this level someday. It is only too bed mentioning the fact that I've only been in guard for a year now. But this work is just amazing and would love to learn this routine someday.
ok when i first heard of color guard i was like really waving a bunch a flags around dumb but now i’m 2938378282% sorry for every doubting it this was beautiful
Would it be okay if I used the beginning flag work ( where you wrapped the silk around you and then unraveled it) in my solo? If not, I completely understand it just looks amazing
+Christian Luke I figured out some of the moves from the beginning, but where you wrap up the flag it is very difficult to see what you're doing especially because it is very fast. I know I'm very late on this haha but it would be amazing from tour part if you could do a step by step of it :) thank!
OK...as intricate as this is (it's really really good btw) can a DCI color guard / visual judge really see all of that from the upper box or from the field AND can 30 guard people really do this in a show?
this is the kind of level i can only hope to achieve one day
Sophia Hopkins it’s been three years. have you got it?
peanut nutter haha actually, yes! i learned this piece and performed it for my final last spring!
Sophia Hopkins ahhhh! that’s literally so awesome! i’m so proud of you! i started colorguard for the very first time three days ago hahha
peanut nutter omg yay!! joining the color guard was the best decision i’ve ever made- you’re going to love it! i’m so excited for you! :)
Sophia Hopkins ahhh that means so much! i’m really excited but i’m getting super frustrated haha
ok...that was seriously the most beautiful and intricate solo I have ever seen in my life. Amazing!
The fact that he has such complete trust in his flag and his body astounds me. I want to grow a bond with my flag like he has with his one day.
YOUR ROUITNE IS ABSOULELY STUNNING!! I WOULD LOVE TO LEARN THAT..
Me too. We don't have a choreographer/coach at my school. The kids do choreograph everything.
same
You need to do a step by step video for this flag work I would love to learn it 😀
oh my lord this is the definition of a beautiful performance
This is the most beautiful flag solo I have ever seen. Everything flowed together so nicely. I hope I can become that good one day.
I come back to this video all the time, it's my favorite solo ever
Omg that was absolute perfection. So graceful elegant wonderful beautiful idk how many other adjectives I could use. Is there a step by step because I'd be down.

I hope I can be at this level someday I’ve just started color guard this year though but hopefully in a few years
I haven’t even joined guard yet, auditions are in two weeks. I am not skilled by any means, but I just came here to commend you on this beautiful solo. The way your body flowed with the flag was phenomenal.

I am teaching a young guard now and I want to show them this right now! This is gorgeous!!!

Using a move that somebody else made up should be completely okay, as it can help you be the guardist that you aspire to be.
That was so effortless and beautiful

+Brandon G Sorry such a late reply, but I think for that flag I had a 1 inch bolt at the bottom and a 3 inch bolt at the top!(:
