I'm 3mths stable of crack cocaine and heroin 2morr coming out at 28year addiction Im down to 20mls of methadone just waiting to go back in to detox, make no mistake it doesn't matter the substance its a full blown disease of the mind which you can get a grip of and start to manage it but it just comes down to how much you want it and make no mistake it's a disease which I'm only finding out myself until you know what your fighting how can you begin to fix it
I can feel the trauma. It is heartbreaking. Pity folk don't get proper instruction on OST, methadone or Suboxone. It requires a degree of effort. Just like going cold. You need to really want it and be willing to make drastic lifestyle changes to facilitate your mental health. Also proper support, not just plain old crutches "for life". Liquid handcuffs is abit much. Great tools when used with sound intent. The addiction services in Ireland are overwhelmingly thrash. Heart in the right place, head in the wrong place. It needs a drastic overhaul and a brand new approach. And a lot of red tape fucked in the bin. Good video Paul. Love the format. Peace brother.

She was my little sister in treatment 5years sadly she passed away a year ago it broke my heart I loved her so much she was so lovely ❤ fly high sweetheart

Lisa do It for your Son Because I went through terrible trauma When my son was 14 years of age I was so traumatised but I swore I wasn't going to turn to alcohol and drugs And I didn't It was very hard and they were times I thought I can't carry on But I kept thinking about my son Who is going to look after him He is now a young man age 32 He did very well at school I had great support with the school The head master was absolutely brilliant Caring and compassionate I will never forget that man
Her voice is important but so is her privacy... Feel this is wrong on so many levels to be posted on RUclips....understand addiction needs to be highlighted but she is obviously very vulnerable when this was filmed..
Sorry you felt that way Keith and i respect your opinion but this woman wanted to be heard... and i think what she had to say needs to be heard .. so we can agree to disagree but do not suggest im out to exploit people just because my subject matter may strike too close to the bone my guy.
