    Thank you very much, Janet! I saw you explain this before the Mug Rug WAL and it was extremely helpful! I also 'name' the different elements in a chunk just to make the pattern gel a bit better. I call them; M's, V's, carrots, W's, etc., and by the time I sit down to thread the heddles, the pattern is memorized - well, the elements, anyway. Sorry, I can't use a threading hook - I have Texsolv heddles and it's faster to just twist a loop and stick that through. Thanks so much for all the great advice. It sure does make life easier!

    Thank you for these great hints. I tend to reverse things in my head. Nice to have a way to break down the pattern to keep me going in the right direction while threading.
